"We are screwed…This is their chief…" Lita mumbled with a pale face as her eyes quivered, staring at the intimidating back of the humongous ghoul.

"Should we abort? This Ghoul Chief is too strong….more than we expected," Becca asked as she swallowed her saliva. She couldn't see any way they were able to go to take him down.

"Shut up, you two. Did you both forget that we have to do this unless our team gets thrown in the back? We have to prove to our leader that we are not pussies who can't follow orders," Gunner said in a determined voice, making the two lower their heads silently.

"We will do this together with the other teams," Gunner said as he tapped on his wrist and frantically called for backup.

Lily and Jake's team were invisible as they walked into the underground floor of the biggest building in the station.

Since they had already got information from Gunner, they were floating above the ground quite silently, without making the slightest sound. Even if they were invisible, it didn't mean that the surroundings would hide any noises they might make.

However, when all eight of them saw the five ghouls, especially the large one standing at the back with two machetes, they immediately felt a sense of suffocation just by being near its presence.

Yuria already got news about the cultivation of all these ghouls. If it was just an ethereal cultivator at the late level of the Profound Ethereal Realm, then she or her sisters wouldn't worry much. But a nethereal cultivator with the same cultivation would definitely be stronger when compared to an ethereal cultivator.

Still, taking on four of such ghouls may not be impossible, considering the combined teamwork from all twelve. However, the presence of this humongous ghoul who was at the first level of the Noble Nethereal Realm will change the game entirely.

Not even an average ethereal cultivator with the same cultivation would be a match for him, let alone twelve cultivators at the Lower levels of the Profound Ethereal Realm.

All twelve of them were just a couple of meters away from these five ghouls as they discussed their plan.

"The only way we will even have the slightest chance of winning is by drawing away the strongest one among them first and then dealing with the four. These things are too dumb to realize what is going on when it happens. But the question is, which team among us is going to draw away the big guy?" Gunner asked with a grim look.

Everyone else also had a similar expression since they knew one of their teams should basically sacrifice themselves to distract the Ghoul Chief. After all, how long can a team survive when trying to distract a ghoul as powerful as that? There was no escape.

An unsettling silence settled among the twelve as most of them had difficult expressions while Lita and Becca were hoping somebody else would volunteer quickly.

Lily looked at her sisters, who, after some contemplation, gave the nod at her.

"We will volunteer and distract their chief for you guys," Lily suddenly said, making the other eight look at her and her team with stupefied expressions.

"Great. We knew you guys were capable enough for this," Becca said with a flattering smile since she wanted to offer more encouragement to make sure they won't back out.

Gunner blinked his eyes before asking, "Wait. You guys sure about this? No offense, but your team has the least experience, and even if, individually you guys are stronger than us, it wouldn't really matter unless you guys know how to work together efficiently. Don't forget that Noble Cultivators can put up a Domain of their own where their surroundings would favor them while weakening their enemies. You guys haven't even trained enough to use ethereal manifestations," Gunner couldn't help but suggest since these four would be simply throwing away their lives which would be a pity considering the potential they had. He knew their leader, Kena, was looking forward to seeing them evolve to the highest potential.

Jake nodded in agreement, "Gunner is right. You guys need some experience before doing things like this. So our team will do this, and you—"

"No. Please…you have to let us do this," Lily said, her tone gentle yet determined.

"Yeah, we might be newbies, but we learn quickly. So give us a chance to let us prove ourselves," Yuria said with a light smile.

Lita had a gleeful smile hanging on her lips since it seemed even if Lily's team backed out, Jake's team would definitely take it up. She now needn't worry about certain death.

Feeling how determined she was, Linda couldn't help but ask, "But why?" She felt as if there was a reason these four women were being determined about this.

"Because when our husband was weaker than us at this point, he still managed to distract an Abominable Fiend from our homeland and led it away to this world….all on his own. That is how he went missing after reaching this world, even though we know he is still alive. But the point is…if he could do it, then we, as his wives, should be able to do it as well. Otherwise, we wouldn't be worthy of being anything more," Reva said as her tone briefly softened when she thought about Damien.

Jake and his team had looks of disbelief since they couldn't believe what they had just heard.

"Pffft, leading away an Abominable Fiend by someone weaker than them? Yeah…they should work on their bluffing. I bet their husband would pee at the sight of a ghoul in the profound realm," Lita chortled to her teammates, finding it quite laughable, making Becca chortle as well. She would have said it aloud if not for the worry that Lily and her team might back out if they got pissed off.

"Lita…don't push out," Gunner said to her with a stern look, making her harrumph with indignation.

But Gunner knew most would have the same thoughts as Lita since even Abominable Fiends were one of the most terrifying breeds of fiends. Even a newborn among them would be as strong as the Ghoul Chief standing a few meters away from them.

Still, by now, he knew that these four wouldn't lie or bluff, considering their noble and graceful nature.

"Sigh….If you four are so determined, then fine…But do not let your husband nor us down," Gunner said with a fixed gaze.
