Return of the Mythic Bloodline-Chapter 383: Upgrading Vajra
Inside the castle, Heaven’s Sovereign Peak.
A large stone table was placed in a room whose front wall was open, from where the entire Western Continent below could be seen in clear weather.
Around the stone table, the Sect Leaders of each sect, and Robert, Jambavan, and Vyaghra were seated. The table had a detailed map of the whole Western Continent carved upon it.
At the head of the table, Aestra, the Queen and my mother, was seated, while beside her on the first seat, I sat as we discussed the strategy for the opening of the war.
"The capital of the Azure Sun Empire, Solaryin, is protected by seven Duchies from all sides," Tartaglia informed us, as he possessed the most information about the outside world. "Each Duchy is a kingdom on its own, with an army of millions of soldiers. The Emperor most likely will not come out until one of his Duchies has fallen.
The closest Duchy to us is the Duchy of Thornwall. Claiming Thornwall is necessary to obtain the upper hand in the war."
"But the Emperor must also be expecting us to attack Thornwall. They will be prepared," Sylvaris said, sitting beside me.
Her concern was genuine. Before the overwhelming number of the Empire’s soldiers, our army was laughable. Even if we combined the disciples and elders from all seven sects, our army amounted to only one hundred thousand, which was just ten percent of the army of a single Duchy.
Sure, we did have cultivators at higher realms, but if all six duchies united their forces against us, we would be easily overwhelmed.
"Lady Sylvaris is correct," I said, rising from my seat. "The Emperor, given how shrewd he is, will be expecting us at Thornwall. It is not an exaggeration to say that Thornwall might have already received additional armies from neighbouring duchies."
"What do you propose, Your Highness?" Barbatos asked, sitting at the farthest side, carrying a smile on his face while resting his palm against it.
"I do have a plan," I said, moving towards the centre of the table. "What I propose is..."
---
The meeting began early in the morning and continued until midnight as Tartaglia informed us about the enemy’s strengths, their fortresses, and the strategies to breach them. When the meeting ended, it was already midnight.
"Only five hours remaining before we march to the empire," I murmured inwardly, leaning against a tree in the forest behind the castle.
"Vivi, show me my stats."
"Initialising Host’s request..."

My Divine Sense level had increased when I fought in the competition without my vision. My stats were similar to those of a cultivator at the early stage of the True Sage Realm, with my Soulforce being at the same depth as well.
For cultivators, once their physical stats and Soulforce reached a certain level, they could not increase them further unless they broke through to the next level.
However, it was different with me. When I was only a Low-Tier Cultivator, my Soulforce volume had already reached that of a High-Tier cultivator. Even now, after having more than half of my Soulforce absorbed by the Tree of Divinity, my Soulforce reserves were the same as those of True Sages.
If I decided to use every skill in my arsenal, I was confident in defeating a Mid-Stage True Sage and holding my own against a Late Stage one, which was obviously breaking the laws of cultivation.
Realms existed for a reason. It did not make any sense for a cultivator to rival someone at a higher level, not to mention a higher realm.
I had always had this question at the back of my mind, and then I finally asked,
"Vivi, how strong is the Transcendent Realm compared to the human realm system?"
"A cultivator at the Transcendent Realm possesses strength similar to that of a True Sage."
"Oh, so my hunch was correct," I murmured, raising an eyebrow. "Still, it does not change anything. My targets are not just True Sages."
From my inventory, I took out the silver longsword, Vajra, and whispered while holding it in both hands,
"Once again, I will be depending on you."
After a brief pause, I continued, "Vivi, show me the growth conditions for Vajra." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
"Growth Conditions:
1. Reach the level of Advanced Sword Skills: [Completed]
2. Lace the blade with the lightning attribute of a being of the Transcendent Realm: [Completed]
3. Feed the blood of %@#*& bloodline which is at least 25% manifested: [Pending]"
"Oh, the second condition must have been fulfilled when I used Sword Aura in the tournament," I thought inwardly, moving my focus to the third condition.
Grabbing the tip of the sword with my hand, I dragged my palm along its blade, turning it crimson with my blood.
A humming sound echoed from the sword and it began vibrating, absorbing the blood onto its surface. Bolts of golden lightning began emitting from the blade. The lightning did not belong to me. It was Vajra’s.
The lightning from the blade moved towards my hand, which was holding it by the hilt.
A stinging pain appeared in my arm as the lightning began absorbing into it.
Then suddenly the pain increased several folds. I felt my insides being burned and torn apart. The lightning travelled from my arm towards my neck, splattering blood, destroying muscles, and breaking bones along the path.
"Fuck, I would not have done it if I knew it would cause me injury," I muttered inwardly, clenching my teeth as lightning covered half of my face in golden veins.
From there, several veins of lightning began joining into one and entered the mark on my forehead.
An overwhelming pain attacked my head. I felt my brain throbbing and something forcefully being injected into it. The vision before me distorted, my hearing grew distant, and I began losing all of my senses.
The next moment, a series of memories that did not belong to me appeared one after another in my mind.
The entire sky was shattered. Billions of monsters, each at the level of the High Tier Realm, rushed into Vyoman from the broken sky.
Below them, a mystic black deer with golden antlers, a humongous tiger with tails of darkness as eyes, a crimson bear as large as a mountain itself, and a pink-furred fox with eight tails, its size several times greater than the bear, rushed into the sky toward the billions of monsters.
