Return of the Mythic Bloodline-Chapter 332: Child of the Heavens
The moment Lucifer and Ume set foot on the Heaven’s First Step, the clouds surrounding the mountains began an ecstatic dance. A cool breeze whistled in soothing calm, and out of nowhere, countless plum blossom petals flowed along the wind.
"U-Ume, are you doing this?" Lucifer asked in a low voice.
"No! It’s not me," Ume replied. "I have kept my Divine Soulforce completely sealed. I do not understand what is happening either."
A faint smile coiled onto Lucifer’s face as he whispered softly,
"Sigh... the heavens are welcoming me home. And Ume, they are welcoming your presence to the Hundred Sky Mountains as well."

In the Flowerbane Sect
The World Tree, which had been slowly withering ever since Taranis died, had strangely stopped shedding its leaves two years ago. However, the event that truly unsettled the entire Flowerbane Sect occurred a month ago, when, for the first time in seventeen years, new buds appeared upon the World Tree.
Yet on this day, when the child of the heavens stepped upon the Sky Mountains once more, the entire Flowerbane Sect was thrown into complete uproar.
This time, it was not just a few buds. Numerous leaves and branches burst forth from the World Tree, as if it had been completely revived.

In the Everfrost Peak
The mountain, whose temperature always remained below freezing and whose winds were so chilling that they could freeze blood itself, suddenly experienced a strange change in weather. The bone-chilling storms transformed into gentle, soothing winds, while the snow clouds surrounding the mountain dispersed, revealing the sun, a sight that appeared only once or twice during summer.
"Wh-what is this feeling?" A low, nervous yet melodious voice echoed across the open ground at the zenith of the Everfrost Peak.
"Elder sister, are you alright?" asked a handsome young man in his late teens. His skin was pale, and short silver hair rested atop his head.
"I’m alright, Doran," Nymeria replied in her usual cold and stiff tone.
"Why do the heavens seem to be so happy today?" Nymeria murmured inwardly, her gaze lifting toward the sky. "Are you perhaps enjoying my agony?"
---
"W-we haven’t seen a phenomenon like this in the past seventeen years," one of the seven figures standing before Lucifer and Ume gasped, clearly shaken by the ecstatic dance of nature.
After the phenomenon subsided five minutes later, the group shifted their attention to the two individuals who had not only completed the Trial of the Sky Mountains but were also holding White Jade Tokens, signifying that they were talented enough to directly become inner disciples.
"Introduce yourselves, youngsters," said one of the men, standing before them with his hands folded. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"Elder, my name is Kitsune. I possess the Flower Attribute," Ume introduced herself warmly, giving a slight nod in the refined manner of a noble from a high family.
The moment Ume spoke with such grace, all seven individuals, including the lone woman among them, froze in place, stunned by her beauty.
"Sh-she’s on par with Sect Master Sylvaris," one of them muttered, a faint blush appearing beneath his eyes.
"Wh-why is it that most of these heavenly beauties possess the Flower Attribute?" another muttered.
"Disciple Kitsune," one of them stepped forward. He had green hair and a mark on his forehead, clearly revealing his identity as a member of the Windbane Clan.
"Would you like to—"
"Oh, and he is my betrothed, Lucifer Morningstar," Ume added, smoothly coiling her arm around Lucifer before the green-haired man could finish his sentence.
"Do the Windbanes know nothing except flirting with the women of the Flowerbane Sect?" the woman among the group retorted sharply, clearly hinting at how the Windbane Sect Master relentlessly pursued Sylvaris, the Sect Master of Flowerbane.
The green-haired man turned red-faced and stepped back, while the remaining five let out mocking chuckles, clearly amused by his humiliation.
After casting a sharp scoff toward the Windbane, the woman turned to Ume and asked, "Can you show me your attribute, Disciple Kitsune?"
Ume nodded and extended her hand forward. From her palm bloomed a beautiful crimson rose, its petals dancing gracefully around it.
The instant the flower materialized, a wave of gasps rippled through the seven individuals. Their jaws dropped, and their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
"Th-that is the Crimson Rose, a Heavenly-class Flower Attribute," the woman muttered, shock written plainly across her face. "O-only a handful of elders and the Sect Master can wield Heavenly-class attributes, yet she is blooming it so effortlessly at such a young age."
After a few stunned seconds, the woman rushed forward, grabbed Ume’s hands, and declared, "Come with me. You must meet the Sect Master immediately. She might even take you as her direct disciple."
Ume glanced sideways at Lucifer and only agreed after receiving a nod of approval from him.
Without wasting another second, the woman summoned a chariot from her spatial ring and instantly flew away with Ume.
"Tsk, the Flowerbanes sure got lucky this time," a brown-haired, muscular man muttered. "Finding such a talented disciple when the Azure Sky Competition is just around the corner."

Once Ume departed, the remaining six individuals turned their attention toward the crimson-haired man standing before them.
"Judging from your hair, you seem to possess the Flame Attribute," said a man with auburn hair as he stepped forward. However, before he could continue, Lucifer shook his head.
"I possess the Lightning Attribute," Lucifer replied calmly.
"L-lightning!?" the group gasped once more. The loudest reaction, however, came from the elderly man who had seemed largely uninterested until now.
The man appeared to be in his nineties, his face lined with countless wrinkles, and his eyebrow hair extending all the way down to his long white beard. His tired eyes shone with a bright blue hue, and a slit-shaped mark adorned his forehead.
"Show me your attribute, child," the old man said in a cracked voice as he stepped forward.
Lucifer nodded and raised his hand. Crimson lightning bolts flickered and danced around his fingers.
"R-Red Lightning of Calamity Class!?" Once again, a thunderous exclamation echoed among the six individuals, their eyes refusing to believe what they were witnessing.
For a moment, the old man stood frozen in shock. Unconsciously, tears formed at the corners of his eyes as he approached Lucifer with trembling steps.
In a voice filled with both relief and sorrow, he murmured,
"Finally... the heavens have shown grace to the Thunderbane Sect."
