Yang Gu put down his phone and walked over to Wu Tian. His expression was hesitant, but he ultimately chose to lower his head. "Mr. Wu Tian, please give me your orders."

The onlookers were speechless as they witnessed yet another shocking scene.

Zheng Tichen was furious. "Yang Gu, what are you doing?"

Yang Gu ignored him.

"Send away as many of the people you brought as you can. Then, get lost yourself," Wu Tian said.

Yang Gu nodded, showing no sign of displeasure. He knew when to be arrogant and when to bow his head.

He looked at the other young masters behind Zheng Tichen and said, "Guys, let's get out of here."

Except for Zheng Tichen, the other young masters were also from Yang City, but none of them could compare to Yang Gu. When he spoke, they naturally listened.

Yang Gu offered Zheng Tichen a piece of advice, "You should leave too."

The Cui family of Qinghe and the Zheng family of Rongyang were about evenly matched. Since Cui Chong was so respectful toward Wu Tian, the patriarch of the Zheng Family surely couldn't be much more powerful than him. He was saying this for Zheng Tichen's own good.

But Zheng Tichen just snorted. He refused to be intimidated.

Seeing that he wouldn't listen, Yang Gu sighed and stopped bothering with him, leaving with the other young masters.

Murong Dawei was stunned. How could this mundane, city-dwelling cousin of his possess such power?

Zheng Tichen gritted his teeth and said coldly, "Go on, take out your phone again. I'd like to see if you have the power to make me get lost too."

But Wu Tian didn't do as he was told. You want me to take it out just because you said so? What a joke!

Wu Tian walked right up to Zheng Tichen.

"You might have a lot of power in the city, but you don't understand what the Five Surnames and Seven Families represent," Zheng Tichen said coldly.

Wu Tian had no interest in listening. He simply kicked out.

"AARGH!"

Zheng Tichen let out a pained scream as he was kicked out the door and knocked unconscious.

"Dad is awesome!" the little one cheered, clapping her hands.

"Cousin!" Murong Dawei cried, shoving Lin's mother aside as he rushed out to check on Zheng Tichen.

Murong Dawei was also one of Murong Guangfu's sons and naturally wanted to inherit the Murong Family. However, Murong Ziqi was too difficult to deal with. Therefore, Murong Dawei needed the help of Zheng Tichen, the likely future head of the Zheng Family. Zheng Tichen was extremely important to him.

With no one left to interfere, Xiang Wan gave the order, "Arrest them!" The police acted swiftly, arresting Lin Tianlong and his mother.

Xiang Wan looked at Wu Tian and couldn't help but say, "This is all thanks to you."

"It was nothing," Wu Tian said casually.

Xiang Wan nodded. Although she was grateful, she hadn't given up on her objective. She would continue to observe Wu Tian and determine if he was the person she was looking for.

Lin Tianlong and his mother were taken away by Xiang Wan and the police.

Lin Fa was in tears, but he still managed to say, "Boss, Little Princess, please, let me treat you to a meal today."

Wu Tian and the little one agreed.

A while later, Zheng Tichen woke up. Wu Tian hadn't used much force, or he would have been dead. Even so, after waking up, Zheng Tichen was still shaken with lingering fear.

"Cousin, I'm so sorry. My other cousin is just thoughtless," Murong Dawei said hurriedly.

"What? He's your cousin?" Zheng Tichen asked, taken aback.

"Yes, it's like this..." Murong Dawei explained his relationship with Wu Tian and added, "Cousin, he's just that rude. How about we..."

"Let it go." Zheng Tichen shook his head. Though he was displeased, he now shared a connection with Wu Tian through Murong Dawei. That Zheng Tichen had men like Wang Yu and Yang Gu following him proved he was no simple man. Family was also very important to him.

"Actually, I didn't come to Yang City just for fun this time," he continued. "My grandfather traveled to Longjing, and after listening to the Sword Saint's discourse on swords, he contracted a strange illness. We heard that a Divine Doctor once appeared in Yang City, so my grandfather came here to find him."

Zheng Tichen cherished his family deeply.

"Grandfather is here? We should go see him right away," Murong Dawei said immediately.

Zheng Tichen nodded. He wasn't angry with Wu Tian; after all, they were technically family now.

Murong Dawei, however, saw things differently. Wu Tian had made him lose face in front of Zheng Tichen, and he was determined to vent his anger and settle the score, no matter what.

Grateful to Wu Tian for clearing his name, Lin Fa invited him and the little one to the AK47 Restaurant.

This was Wu Tian's second time here. The cuisine here was primarily 'green,' focusing on chicken dishes. They only offered two types of beverages, both designed to look like items from a video game. The plates even resembled medical kits that opened to reveal the food inside.

"How is it? Tasty, right?" Lin Fa asked. He had only brought his girlfriend here seven times himself; the food was very expensive. But he had to admit, the dishes were unique and truly delicious.

"It's way worse than what my dad makes. It's barely passable." Lin Fa had expected praise from the Little Princess, but he certainly hadn't expected to hear that.

Lin Fa stared at Wu Tian in shock. He couldn't believe it. Was his boss's cooking really that good? The chefs at the AK47 Restaurant were Five-Star level, after all!

Wu Tian said nothing and simply continued to eat. In his opinion, the chicken deserved a 7 out of 10. The beverage, however, earned an 8. It was the AK47 Restaurant's exclusive drink, unlike Coke or Sprite, and you couldn't get it anywhere else.

"AGH!"

Suddenly, a cry of pain snapped Wu Tian out of his thoughts. He, Lin Fa, and the little one all turned toward the sound.

They saw an elderly, white-haired man at another table fall to the ground. He was in so much pain that his body nearly curled into a ball as he rolled on the floor.

"My husband!" The old woman with him, also in her seventies or eighties, felt her heart twist in agony as she watched him suffer.

Eight bodyguards immediately formed a protective perimeter, covering all eight directions to guard against any incident. Judging by the eight bodyguards, each one at the level of a mercenary, it was clear this old man and woman were no ordinary people.

With tears streaming down her face, the old woman knelt on the floor beside the writhing man and cried, "My husband, I'm sorry. I couldn't find any Divine Doctor, and those famous doctors can't cure you either. Don't worry, if you go, I will follow you immediately."

Hearing this, the old man, despite his painful convulsions, somehow found the strength to grit his teeth and say, "No, no, no! You have to live! You have to live well for me!"

"How could I possibly live on alone if you're gone?" The old woman had already resolved to die.

Everyone in the AK47 Restaurant watched this scene unfold, sighing with emotion. The love of the older generation was so pure, not cheap and disposable like love in the modern day.

The old man continued to convulse, and the old woman lay on the floor and held him tightly. They were descendants of a great clan who had met during the war of resistance. Back then, they had both taken bullets for each other.

Their vow was to live together or die together.
