Return of the Immortal Emperor Daddy-Chapter 188: Intimate Little Cotton-padded Jacket
Mouse Tooth looked at the little one and thought for a moment before saying, "Yes, on the way to the airport, there happen to be two martial arts dojos that are in competition with each other. There used to be a National Arts gym around here, but it was defeated by them. Now there’s just a Taekwondo dojo and a Karate dojo."
Upon hearing this, the little one immediately started bouncing and hopping around.
"What do you want to do? Tell Uncle, will you?" Mouse Tooth asked curiously.
The little one shook her head. "Don’t get any funny ideas, Uncle Mouse Tooth."
With that, she once again shouldered the large pot and started running laps around the yard. Mouse Tooth sighed in relief that not all children were like her; otherwise... he didn’t even dare to finish the thought.
Meanwhile, after looking around the yard, Wu Tian set up a formation. It was another Teleportation Formation, the second one he had established since his return. The first Teleportation Formation connected his bed to the New Holy Land, while this second one linked Mouse Tooth’s villa yard to Yang City.
Wu Tian used his blood as the primary material. Although his Spiritual Power was only at the Half-step Tongxuan Realm, his body was still that of an Immortal Emperor. When a single drop of his blood appeared, Mouse Tooth and Lin Zhan clearly saw it emitting faint purple qi. They were instantly stunned. Such purple qi was the fabled kind that traveled thirty thousand li from the east—the very mark of a Sage. The simple Teleportation Formation was completed quickly. A ring of light, inscribed with purple patterns, appeared in the yard.
Glancing at Mouse Tooth, Wu Tian explained, "Once this formation is active, you’ll be able to travel freely between Yang City and Longjing, arriving in the blink of an eye. Just a drop of blood will activate it."
"Understood!" Mouse Tooth replied, delighted.
But Wu Tian’s gaze suddenly turned cold. "If you even think of using it for business, you will die."
Mouse Tooth shuddered. Wu Tian had seen right through him; he had indeed been thinking of making a fortune with the formation. But after such a stark warning, how could he possibly dare? His awe and fear of Wu Tian intensified.
With the formation set up, Wu Tian turned back to his daughter’s cultivation. He had previously enabled her to control the Fire Element, allowing her bright, lovely eyes to shoot flames. But now that she had the large pot, he decided it was time to teach her something else: a combat technique. The move Wu Tian planned to teach her wasn’t intricate or fancy. In his view, the best way to use a weapon was with overwhelming power that could crush any skill. He knew the perfect technique for her—an adaptation of "Cleave Mount Hua," which he called "Smash Mount Tai"!
The move was brutally simple: lift the large pot and smash it down with ferocious force, aiming to break bones, force out blood, or even reduce the opponent to a pulp. Acting on the idea, Wu Tian called his daughter over. With the enormous pot strapped to her back, she bounced toward him, a comical and adorable sight. The pot was nearly as tall as she was, and Wu Tian took in the amusing scene.
As Wu Tian explained the Dharma of "Smash Mount Tai," the little one grew more and more excited. She loved this kind of smashing! I don’t care who you are, one smash and you’re done! That was her philosophy.
Her aptitude was excellent, and she mastered the technique in half a day. As a result, all the stones in Mouse Tooth’s yard were pulverized. Smashing rocks, however, wasn’t very fun for her.
The next day was supposed to be their departure day, but the little one had a sudden whim to take an airplane, and Wu Tian had no choice but to agree. Every father with a little princess knows a certain kind of morning happiness. Wu Tian was no different. Just as dawn broke, he found his daughter already sitting on his stomach, giggling. "Dad, wake up, or I’ll start calling you old man!"
"..."
Wu Tian opened his eyes to find his daughter about to stuff a twisted-up piece of tissue into his nostril. He couldn’t help but laugh. Some say that having a daughter is nice because they are quiet, but that isn’t always true. When they are young, both boys and girls can be a handful. Yet, in their later years, every father looks back on their children’s youth and remembers it as the most beautiful time of their life.
Wu Tian reached out and gave her bottom a gentle pat. "You’re a mischievous one, sweetheart. If you keep this up, you’ll get a spanking every day."
"No, no!" She quickly threw the tissue away. "I had a reason! I noticed that when you sleep, Dad, you’re really cute, like a Barbie doll. That’s why I did it."
Wu Tian winced. Is calling a man cute like a Barbie doll really a compliment?
Wu Tian carried his daughter out of bed and took her to the bathroom to wash up, paying special attention to brushing her teeth. He had told her many times not to talk while brushing, but perhaps because she was so excited about her new pot and her new technique, she started singing. Inevitably, she choked on the rinse water. It was an awful feeling; she wanted to cough but couldn’t, and her eyes filled with tears. Wu Tian gently patted her back, sending a surge of Spiritual Power through her, and she was instantly fine.
"Thanks, Dad! Let me brush your teeth for you. Come on, open your mouth." Taking his toothbrush and squeezing toothpaste onto it, the little one began to brush his teeth for him.
"Dad, you really love me," she said, her voice muffled by the task. "I want to tell you that I love you too."
Wu Tian nodded. The old saying that a daughter warms a father’s heart was certainly true.
"And if you took me to fight bad guys and uphold justice every day," she added, "I’d love you even more."
"..." Wu Tian felt a fresh wave of embarrassment.
After breakfast, Wu Tian, the little one, and Lin Zhan left Mouse Tooth’s home and headed for the airport.
As their car passed a Taekwondo dojo, the little one, still carrying her large pot, suddenly cried out, "Oh no, my stomach hurts!"
"What’s wrong?" Lin Zhan asked with concern.
As her father, Wu Tian should have been the most worried, but he could clearly see she was just acting.
"I need to go to the bathroom! I need to get out of the car!" the little one yelled.
Lin Zhan pulled over. The moment the car stopped, she hopped out and marched toward the Taekwondo dojo, shouting loudly enough for them to hear, "There must be a bathroom in here I can borrow!" With that, she disappeared inside.
「Inside the Taekwondo dojo」
Jin Xishan, the master, was sternly surveying his disciples. They stood in four neat rows as he spoke coldly, "Today, we fight the Karate dojo. This battle will determine whether Taekwondo or Karate is the number one martial art in the world!"
