REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 37: REAL OR FAKE
Chapter 37: Chapter 37: REAL OR FAKE
"Aurelio, you know I never lie about my vision. Besides why would I come all this way if it is a prank." She replied to the vampire king.
"I have brought the news for you, what the council does with it is up to them." She said and turned to leave.
"Amelia you and Logan heard back first." Travis instructed.
Travis and Audrey were going to stay and try to see what could be done.
"I refuse to believe this fake news. If the hunters were really building an army why hasn’t anything happened yet." The werewolf king.
"That is one thing, if it’s true how come nothing have happened of yet." The king of fairies agreed with the werewolf king.
"But Amelia’s visions are never false." Aurelio said tried to justify.
"This is a serious issue. Are we just going to sit and wait until something happens in order to take action?" Travis asked.
"Her vision are never that long. Normally thirty seconds but this one was up to five minutes." Audrey added.
Travis and Audrey couldn’t understand why instead of doing anything, they started to fight whether Amelia’s vision is true or false.
"I suggest each being starts to prepare themselves." Travis added, to which no one paid attention to.
"Let’s go! They’ll know the importance of the matter once they stop fighting." Audrey said and they left, leaving them still arguing.
"I get it, you vampires and your so called ’gift’. Anything happens; you can’t wait to take the glory for yourself."
The council were in argument whether to believe her words or not. Aurelio and Adriel who was the leader of the warlock believed Amelia’s words. At first Adriel didn’t believe until she showed him.
"Well, if that is all then I am leaving." Bennet, who was the wolf said standing up.
"What a waste of time!" He muttered irritable leaving.
"He just left?" Adriel looked in shock.
"I’m leaving as well. Vampires always think they are above everyone." He muttered the last sentence to himself.
"Unbelievable!" Aurelia muttered to himself angrily.
"Aurelio, where are you going." Adriel asked.
"Everyone else has left, do you want to stay here by yourself?" He asked motioning to the empty room.
"But what about the hunters?" Adriel asked seriously.
"I am going to take this seriously and have my kind training to prepare themselves. I suggest you do the same." Aurelio looked back at Adriel.
"What about the others?" He asked again.
"You heard what she said. She brought the information, how the council deal with it is our problem. The others are waiting for something to happen, I’d rather have my kind prepared. If they are not worried for their people, why should I be." Aurelio said and left to call a meeting with his kind.
"What a council!" Adriel muttered in disappointment and left as well.
Amelia and Logan returned within forty-five minutes. Ariana, Adrian, Olivia, Josh, Avery, Tyler, Ivan, Morgan, Rosemary, Austin, Derek and Samatha all sat in the living room.
"So, how was it?" Olivia asked serious.
"Sam take the child out of the room." Amelia said looking at her.
"We left them fighting." Was all she said.
"Fighting?" Adrian asked.
"Yes, they were fighting." She replied.
"Fighting about what?" Josh asked.
"They were arguing if my vision is fake or real." Amelia replied taking a seat."
"Who was opposing?" Ivan asked.
"Bennet!" Logan replied.
"That old geezer, I had a feeling it would be him." Austin said.
"He has despised supernatural beings that had powers, which is why it is a taboo in the werewolf territory to bear power." Ariana spoke with the little knowledge she knew of Bennet.
"I remember it was said that his mate was born with a gift. She controlled fire and one day in the heat of an argument, she accidentally set the place on fire.
In that fire, they lost the lives of their two young pups. This led to Bennet thinking that these ’gift’ was nothing but a curse, so he issued the notice that forbade anyone from practicing magic.
"Those idiots!" They heard Audrey’s voice coming from outside.
"Mom, was there a change?" Amelia asked.
"No, we left while they were debating if your vision is real or fake." Audrey replied trying to calm her anger down.
"It looks like they are not worried, but I will not have anything happen to my family." Travis said looking at his family.
"Did you see anything else?" Travis asked turning his attention to Amelia.
"No, but from what I can tell, the army is not something easy to handle." She replied.
"In that case, we all should start training, we can’t sit and wait around like those fools." Travis said, everyone nodded.
"What about the game?" Dylan asked.
"Seriously Dylan, can you ask about the game in this situation." Derek rebuked.
"Sorry!" Dylan folded his head.
Everyone retired to their rooms, Dylan couldn’t forget Ameli’s words about his mate. He had been single and was tired of it.
"Sam!" Derek called out entering their room.
"Derek!" She whispered pointing at Isabelle, their daughter.
"What happened?" She asked leading him towards the couch.
After he explained, he also told her about what her father said. freewebnøvel.coɱ
"Dad is right, we have to protect our family." She replied looking at her sleeping daughter.
"Training starts tomorrow." Derek spoke.
He looked at his daughter who looked so much like her mother. Even if he died, he was going to protect his family till the end, he had been a lone vampire wondering around the world. It was Samatha who gave him a new life with a new family, before all he did was time travel, and lucky for him he ended time travelling into the forest where he met her.
"Josh, this time it’s bad, I’m sure." Olivia said leaning her head against his shoulder.
"What if something really happens?" She asked in silence.
"Don’t think too much." He said patting her hair.
For the first time, the young carefree Olivia was now replaced with a serious Olivia.
"I can hear your worry as well." She said reading into his thought.
