Seated cross-legged on the bed, I could hear the music, the dancers, the cheers... everything.
My senses were heightened, and this massive empire felt small. The boost I gained from this realm far surpassed what I got from the Nightfall Dominion territory.
The only downside was that I didn’t have a secluded castle here to call my own.
Deep down, I couldn’t help but miss the Nightfall Dominion.
My door marking was still within Lord Ravus’s room. I could reach it directly, but since that entire world had been consumed by the abyss, I dared not go there.
At least, not until I’ve gathered enough strength.
When that time comes, I will head there—take Lord Ravus and the Vanguard’s curse.
All the experience points gained from today’s journey allowed me to level up twice and recover most of my lost stats.
Now all my stats were back at the ten-point threshold.
I was back to my old peak condition... and now, it’s time to surpass it.
But first...
Snap!
[Door Activated!]
Black fumes poured out of my body, forming a mighty spatial gate in front of me.
I rose to my feet as the door swung open—and I walked in.
Inside my pocket dimension, I was greeted by a familiar sight.
The orc berserker, Kïtæ, was seated in one corner of the room, his breathing shallow and weak, while his Kahut watched him with sad eyes.
The aftermath of using Berserk Mode had caught up with him.
Unlike me, he didn’t have high vitality—so it hit him like a terrible illness.
"Coward!" Kïtæ growled.
The Kahut quickly noticed my presence and turned to face me.
Frrruuuuuuuuuuuuu!
It made a weird sound before charging like the mindless beast it was.
Unfortunately for it, the beast needed a few steps to build momentum.
But I didn’t.
Snap!
Another door appeared before me and I stepped through it even before the Kahut reached me.
I emerged in front of the weakened orc champion, brandished Rai’ki, and in one clean swing—his head flew off, along with a few fingers he raised in defense.
Blood squirted everywhere, and I frowned.
That meant I’d have to clean this up eventually.
Frrruuuuuuuuuuuuu!
Rumble!
Looking over my shoulder, I saw the Kahut charging again, angered by its master’s death.
"Die."
Snap!
Two gates appeared.
One in front of the charging beast, and the second positioned near the wall some distance away.
BOOOM!
The Kahut leapt in—but only half of its massive body fit through.
It slammed into the wall ahead with its tusk, failing to break through.
Snap!
Pfft!
With a snap of my fingers, the gate snapped shut—cleanly tearing it apart.
Blood and organs squirted in all directions, slowly spreading across the pocket dimension floor.
The Kahut was a large monster, so the mess was expected... but still disgusting.
I found myself stepping in its blood.
Ding!

"Disgusting." I muttered dryly before snapping my fingers again.
A new gate opened.
Without hesitation, I stepped in—emerging behind Kenza, who sat near a campfire, still wearing my trench coat.
My sudden appearance sparked movement.
The Ascendants quickly pulled out their weapons.
Righteous, who sat on the other side of the fire, jumped to his feet.
Frankenstein looked at me with his usual dull gaze before lowering his head.
Kenza, though, seemed lost in thought—staring blankly into the flames.
She hadn’t even noticed the chaos happening around her.
When I helped her into the trench coat earlier, I left my mark on it—just in case I needed to return here directly.
"Bastard, why did you come back?!" Righteous snapped.
Only then did Kenza raise her face in shock and quickly look over her shoulder.
Seeing me behind her, she jumped to her feet and immediately threw her arms around me, hugging me tightly.
Everyone stared at us in surprise.
Even I was shocked—but I didn’t show it on my face.
Only a few seconds passed before she realized what she had done.
Her face flushed red.
She let go and stepped back... one more step and she would’ve walked into the fire.
But I caught her hand and pulled her back in.
Her soft body pressed against mine, her full bosom rubbing gently against my chest.
I wrapped one arm around her waist.
"Careful. You’ll hurt yourself," I said calmly.
She looked over her shoulder and realized I’d saved her from falling into the fire.
Her gaze returned to me—but she didn’t try to break free from my grip.
"Why did you come here?" she asked softly.
"To check on you." I answered without hesitation.
Her face flushed red again. Her wide, surprised eyes stayed locked on mine.
Her breathing grew louder, heavier, and her lips parted slightly.
She looked at mine like she wanted to kiss me—but there were too many people here.
I smiled and subtly shook my head, dissuading her from making that bold move.
Slowly, I let go and took a step back.
My eyes drifted past her.
I glanced from Righteous, to Frankenstein, then to the group of Ascendants huddled in a corner.
"Everyone, gather around. I’m here to tell you all what I’ve learned so far about this world."
I said it plainly and watched their faces light up one by one.
Even Frankenstein raised his head to meet my gaze—shock flickering faintly in his dull eyes. freёnovelkiss.com
