Reincarnated into a Doomed Novel as an Unknown Extra-Chapter 156 - 5–0
"Yes, so what?"
Silas and Seraphina’s eyes opened wide, showing emotions of something between shock, sadness, regret, and... pity?
Honestly, I didn’t want any family drama. Thus, I decided to be clear with them.
They knew that I killed someone, so why would I hesitate at this point? It was better to end everything quickly.
Of course, there was a problem... I was in Elyndra, which meant they now knew that whoever I killed was from this island as well.
In other words, they were probably thinking about the identity of who I killed. Were they Exalted? Cultivators? Normal people? Were they even students?
In addition to that, they might think about how I, a mere Tier-3 Exalted, killed someone without anyone knowing.
However, I wasn’t planning to reveal more than that. I forced a smile again as Glutton appeared at his waffle plate and said: "Please don’t ask for more than that and start eating. You can think about that later."
They sighed deeply, then we started eating in awkward silence. No one said anything after that, everyone was lost in their own thoughts.
"You can speak with us about this... if you want." Seraphina was the first to shatter the silence, looking at me with concern.
I shook my head. "Sorry, but I can’t. I assure you that they deserved it, that’s all I can say. Oh, and please don’t tell Aria."
Seraphina nodded, but her gaze still didn’t leave me.
I understood her emotions, but I couldn’t simply tell her that I was hunting some members of the Dark Order. We only knew each other for a few weeks anyway.
’Wait, before I forget.’
Instantly, I went to the kitchen and brought the coffin to Seraphina and Silas. "You forgot this last time, you can take it back now."
Silas grabbed the coffin with one hand, then the next moment, the coffin disappeared.
He smiled. "We couldn’t take it with us when you were inside, and Lunara wasn’t willing to wait for you to awaken your innate ability, so we were forced to leave it."
I nodded in understanding, then Seraphina asked: "By the way, how is your progression with blood manipulation?"
Oh, was she trying to change the topic? How generous of her.
I could see that they were still struggling to make a conversation after confirming their doubts, but I couldn’t do anything about that.
I started manipulating my own circulatory system, giving the muscles in my right arm a sudden boost in force. I didn’t say a word, I was sure they could sense it.
Seraphina’s smile widened as she clapped. "You can already control your blood flow in that short period, not bad at all."
I nodded, though I wasn’t really that perfect on it. My control was still too rough in that aspect, barely able to strengthen one arm or a leg. Obviously, I couldn’t use that in a real fight.
While controlling my own blood, any mistake could cause severe damage. I had to be confident enough in my control before using that in a fight.
But that progress was in only one week, so it indeed wasn’t that bad. I might need only one month to use blood manipulation in a real fight.
"Starting from next week," Silas suddenly said, "We will train you and Aria. We will make sure you will progress rapidly without any injuries, especially when you control the blood at your vital organs like your heart and brain."
"Thank you in advance, then." I bowed slightly in gratitude.
Well, that was better than I expected.
Not only they didn’t question me about who and why I killed, but they would even train me!
Although I didn’t really have any feelings toward them — mainly because I had barely seen them — I started to think it wasn’t that bad to have them by my side.
For the next few minutes, we kept talking about some random topics to light up the mood while Glutton just kept listening. It was still a little heavy, but it was better than before.
Eventually, their faces twitched in annoyance as Silas said: "We will meet again next week, our time—!"
Before he could continue, they suddenly disappeared as if they never existed and left me alone with Glutton.
Obviously, Lunara teleported them away. I had no choice but to wonder about where they sent them every time.
’Speaking about Lunara, my training with her will be tomorrow.’
That would be my second training session. The first one had helped me significantly regarding my spatial awareness, so I was a little excited about it.
Additionally, I had to tell Yami about the sword, it’d help Glutton significantly if he agreed to make it.
I opened my bracelet and sent a quick message to Selene, telling her that I was done, in case she wanted to return. Then, I looked at the stupid bird beside me and said inwardly:
’Remember to not be a pervert, she may be the best or the worst person in the government, we can’t be sure.’
The reason I didn’t talk loudly was that Seraphina and Silas just left the suite, so Lunara might be listening.
With sad emotions, Glutton returned into my soul.
[Stop reminding me. I’m an adult now, so don’t worry, I can move on easily.]
’Your emotions are saying otherwise.’
[I’m sad for the food! Give me more and I’ll be happy.]
I chuckled as I opened my bracelet and checked my chats.
Of course, I checked Zephyr first. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Me: Did you lose again? (Yesterday)
Zephyr: Fk u (1min ago)
Me: it’s 5–0 now, I’d have killed myself from shame if I was in your place.
Zephyr: Fk u! I was really close to defeating that filthy bird, but suddenly, he burned the entire arena! For a moment, I thought he EXPLODED HIMSELF!
Me: [Screenshot]
Me: The same excuse every time.

After bullying Zephyr for his miserable loss, I checked the other chats and the group chat, but there was nothing interesting.
I sighed and decided to go and make more food and artifacts for my store, then go visit Liora for a small conversation.
She was the only suspect I didn’t talk with yet.
