Reincarnated in the Alternate World, I'm A Demonic Lord as Well as a Villager-Chapter 711 - 363: The Dragon Girl Also Gets a Taste of the Demon King’s Feast
The round creature had a bizarre black appearance, like it was wrapped in a layer of sheer black stockings. Upon seeing the two, it angrily jumped up and thumped the ground. Instantly, the room’s floor cracked, creating a remarkable tremor.
"Is this the first little monster?"
Shami squinted, gazing for a while, and expressed doubt.
"Why does this little monster look a bit familiar to me?"
"W-what are you saying? Aren’t all the little monsters in underground dungeons like this?" The Dragon Race Maiden’s delicate face showed a bit of embarrassment: "Anyway, let’s defeat it and move on."
"Don’t worry. I’ll make it regret showing up here."
In Shami’s hand gathered a terrifying amount of Magic Power, as if the entire ocean’s water concentrated into his hand, spinning into a black whirlpool.
Elze turned pale.
If Shami strikes with this, there will no longer be a Slime known as jelly in this world.
She quickly leaped forward, and kicked the round creature against the nearby wall. The massive body collided violently with the wall, and when the thick smoke dispersed, stars appeared around the round creature’s head.
"No, no need for you to act! I’ve already defeated it!" Elze blocked Shami, sweating profusely.
Shami slowly retracted his Magic Power.
"Is that so?"
"O-of course. Ah, ha ha, hahaha."
The Dragon Race Maiden smiled awkwardly, as if the words "stiff face" were written all over her.
Shami walked over to the knocked-out monster.
"It feels like we won too easily. Could it be playing dead?"
"How could it be, it’s just the first level. Let’s hurry up and go, there are deeper areas waiting for us to explore."
Elze hurriedly pulled Shami towards the passage, not allowing him time to contemplate or clearly see the creature’s true form.
Not wanting to let go, Shami delivered another punch to the jelly before leaving.
The jelly let out a wail, almost splitting in two.
[HP: reduced by 50%]
"What sound was that?!"
"It came from ahead." The Dragon Race Maiden, walking behind, placed her hands on either side of Shami’s cheeks, keeping his head steady: "Pay attention upfront! It’s so dark, and a bit scary. What should we do! Vuvuvu~ Danger danger~!"
"Imitating a police siren to overcome fear is quite childish. When I’m scared, I sing the national anthem to get over it. Elze, you might want to try my method."
Shami earnestly shared his strategy.
But the Dragon Race Maiden behind him was already distracted, awkwardly looking back at the room.
The jelly that had removed its black stockings looked regretfully at the Dragon Race Maiden.
No, wasn’t it just supposed to be a formality, a bit of acting?
This punch almost shattered it!
The Dragon Race Maiden clasped her hands in apology, full of regret.
Who knew Shami would be so serious!
The so-called underground dungeon was, of course, a temporary creation by the Dragon Race Maiden to trick the Demon King into coming in.
And the jelly, who was sunbathing lazily on the grass, was naturally dragged over by her to act as the boss.
Who knew it would be mistaken by Shami as the first little monster, nearly being taken out in one hit.
After walking for a long time and entering several rooms, there were no monsters in sight.
Shami glanced left and right, showing a disdainful expression.
"No monsters, no experience, no treasure chests. This dungeon is lacking in every aspect, isn’t it?"
Elze awkwardly shuffled her feet.
What else do you want? With limited funds and time, we could only have the jelly play along.
However, something big is really coming.
"Look, there seems to be a hidden door here."
Elze pushed a section of the wall, and a stone door creaked open.
Shami finally showed a bit of interest.
If nothing happened soon, he would surely fall asleep.
He would rather go home and play with Lureya’s delicate feet.
"If this dungeon only has these contents, I would consider moving it to the edge of the Demon Realm, and use it as a landfill in the future. All the demons in the area can dump their garbage in here. After all, it’s just another useless space."
The Dragon Race Maiden’s tiny mouth twitched.
"Just another useless space"? This space was crafted using two Space Magic Crystal Stones, which she purchased at a high price.
The two of them slowly walked into the stone door. As soon as they entered, the stone door behind them closed with a clanging sound.
Shami looked back, then around, realizing that they were trapped inside.
This was a huge square room, roughly the size of a football field. Apart from the thick stone walls, the only light came from the Glowing Crystals embedded in the ceiling.
The two of them stood quietly in the center of the room for a minute.
Nothing changed around them.
"Looks like we’re trapped."
"This seems to be a chamber designed to trap Adventurers. Judging from the stone walls, it’s quite sturdy."
Shami squinted.
"How about I try punching it?"
Their discussion echoed in the chamber.
"Wait!" Elze quickly stopped Shami, pointing to a sign fifty meters away on the wall: "There seems to be a sign over there!"
This chamber is just for show; it couldn’t withstand a punch from Shami, and would immediately collapse into rubble.
But since she had drawn Shami into this chamber, Elze obviously had her own methods to make Shami obediently follow the rules here.
This was a blue sign with text on it.
[Welcome to the Eternal Chamber. After entering the chamber, do not use any of your Magic Power. Any magical wave might affect the space’s stability, leading the chamber to drift into the Netherworld Abyss. Also, do not attempt any violent actions against the chamber. Any attempts to attack the chamber might cause it to collapse, resulting in all creatures inside being crushed by supreme force.]
