Chapter 29: Step 29 - New Charm, New Behavior

Romie looked away quickly—but I saw it.

The way her thighs pressed together.

The way her breath caught in her throat.

She was affected, yes. But not completely mine.

Not yet.

I rose from Morgana’s body with unhurried grace and stepped toward Romie. Her breath caught again as I closed the distance.

"We’ll finish later," I said to Morgana, not even glancing back.

"Yes, Master..." she whimpered, dazed and needy.

Romie’s eyes widened at the word.

"Master?" she echoed softly.

I stopped in front of her, only inches away. Close enough for her to feel the heat of my body, the scent of Morgana still clinging to my skin.

I reached up and touched her cheek gently.

"Don’t be jealous, Romie."

Her lips parted again.

"I’m not—" she began, but her voice faltered.

I could see it in her eyes. She didn’t believe it herself.

"You wanted something, didn’t you?" I murmured, brushing a thumb down her jawline.

"I... I came to bring you to the garden. My father wanted to—"

I pressed a finger to her lips.

"I didn’t ask what you came for." I leaned closer, my voice brushing her ear. "I asked what you wanted."

Her whole body shivered.

But that resistance—faint and flickering—remained. Her eyes didn’t glaze over like before. She wasn’t melting yet. Something had changed.

Or maybe she was changing.

Still, her body betrayed her.

Her pupils dilated.

Her hands clenched.

Her breathing grew faster.

"You can’t—" she whispered, barely holding her composure. "You can’t treat people like this..."

"Like what?" I asked, stepping even closer. "Like toys? Like playthings?" I smirked. "They like it. You will too. You already do."

"I..." She looked down, trembling. "You’re wrong." freёweɓnovel.com

But her voice was soft.

Lacking conviction.

I let the moment stretch, the air between us heavy with unspoken desire.

Then I pulled back, just slightly, giving her a sliver of space—letting her breathe again.

"Then prove me wrong," I said.

She blinked up at me.

I turned my back, walking toward the doorway, leaving her in the middle between me and Morgana—who still lay splayed on the couch, red-faced and panting.

"We’ll continue this conversation in the garden," I said without looking back.

Then I paused at the door.

"Or... if you’d rather join Morgana, I don’t mind making time for you too."

She stiffened.

But didn’t speak.

Didn’t move.

And I knew she was thinking about it.

That resistance?

It was just a challenge.

One I would enjoy breaking.

I didn’t leave.

Not yet.

Instead, I turned back.

Romie was still frozen at the door, eyes locked on me, on Morgana, on the heat still pulsing in the room like a living thing. I walked back to the couch, slow and deliberate, letting every step echo in that tight, charged silence.

Morgana’s eyes lifted to me, wide, desperate. "Master... please..."

I cupped her chin and tilted her head back, forcing her to look me in the eyes.

"You were being such a good girl," I murmured, letting my fingers trace her throat, down her chest, to the swell of her breast.

She trembled, lips quivering, her thighs rubbing together instinctively.

"You want your reward now?" I asked softly.

She nodded quickly. "Y-Yes... please..."

"Say it properly."

"Please, Master... reward me..."

I smiled.

Then, with no hesitation, I leaned in and slowly licked up the curve of her neck to the underside of her jaw. She shivered, breath catching in her throat as a sharp gasp escaped her.

My hand slipped beneath her dress again, fingers brushing between her legs.

Soaked.

Utterly soaked.

I slid a single finger in.

She cried out, softly.

Her body arched against my hand, clinging to me, her mouth hanging open.

But I wasn’t watching her.

I was watching Romie.

She hadn’t moved from the door.

Her cheeks were flushed—rosy and burning.

Her eyes were locked on my fingers between Morgana’s thighs, the way the noblewoman writhed under my touch.

I could see the conflict on her face—horror at her own fascination. Her nails dug into her skirt. Her legs pressed tighter together.

And yet...

She didn’t look away.

Her lips parted slightly, her chest rising and falling.

"Mmm... she’s needy," I said aloud, for Romie’s benefit. "But I think you already knew that, didn’t you, Romie?"

Romie flinched.

But didn’t speak.

I let another moan escape Morgana’s lips as I curled my finger slowly, deliberately. Her body trembled violently.

"Would you like to see her come, Romie?" I asked without looking back. "Would you like to see what it looks like when a noble gives in completely?"

"I—" Romie finally breathed, voice cracking. "You’re... you’re disgusting..."

But her eyes stayed on my hand.

My fingers.

Morgana’s face.

The flush of shame on Romie’s cheeks deepened, but so did the shine in her eyes. She was trembling now, her hands twitching at her sides, breathing shallow.

Her legs rubbed together.

She was soaked, too.

And she hated it.

Loved it.

Feared it.

I leaned in and whispered into Morgana’s ear, just loud enough for Romie to hear.

"Let go for me."

Morgana’s body tensed.

Her mouth opened in a silent scream.

And then she shattered.

Her whole frame convulsed as she came hard around my fingers, biting into my shoulder to muffle the scream that threatened to burst free. Her legs kicked out, hips jerking uncontrollably, hands clutching at my back like she might fall apart without me.

I withdrew my hand slowly, holding my slick fingers up to the light.

Then looked at Romie.

Our eyes met.

And I licked my fingers clean.

She gasped.

Turned away.

And fled.

The door slammed shut behind her.

I smirked, then looked down at Morgana, who was still shaking in my arms.

"She’ll come back," I whispered. "She won’t be able to help herself."

I wasn’t the same as before.

With my new class and this new charm of mine, I was confident that nothing would get me in the way of conquering her.

I could feel it, I only needed a little push I would get this second Affection Heart in the blink of an eye.
