Ria looked at him, "So? Why is my little brother bathing so early in the morning?"

"I'm heading out. I wouldn't want to smell like dead beast monster and sister cooties when I get there." Jared was already dressed in his attire, different from what he initially once had before he became the chief of the village.

"Wait..." Ria puffed her cheeks, "Don't tell me you are going to that village."

"Kiara is still there, you know? Getting her out of that wasteland should be our priority now." He sat down on the edge of the bed.
