"What a bunch of restless old ghosts!"

After the Magic Monarch of the Federation left, Kael let out a sigh and stepped down from his throne.

He actually had some unsaid words earlier; his current situation was far from as good as imagined.

At the end of the astral war, Kael's consciousness had already sunk into darkness, yet even then, he was startled by the madness of those Evil Gods at the critical moment.

The Eternal Fierce Sun, even at the cost of sacrificing their divine rights of immortality and the Lord of Dawn, sought to pull those Evil Gods into the abyss. In such a scenario, these guys had no time to even flee in a panic; they didn't even care about their lives, immediately launching a deadly attack on the already weakened Kael.

Was it just because I plotted against you, causing you to completely lose the upper hand and killing off a few minor deities along the way?

Was there a need for such a grandiose response?

Alright, truth be told, the Evil God Camp was almost completely annihilated, and Kael definitely played a significant role in that.

To the extent that, later, when they attacked him on the brink of death, those Evil Gods were as ruthless as they could be.

However, even as Kael was about to fall into slumber, he left behind enough countermeasures.

Although the divine rights of the Magic Goddess were directly used by Kael as a sacrificial offering to empower the divine rights of Lies and Murder, Kael still retained a nascent but incredibly potent divine right.

That was the Divine Right of the Weave, which he later divided into three parts to control.

Although Kael fell into slumber, the Divine Right of the Weave never ceased to operate.

The world supported by Aister and the autonomous puppets was still functioning, and Senior Sister Lily had not fallen into slumber either. This means the Divine Right of the Weave in their hands could still unleash tremendous destructive power... especially since Kael hadn't restricted their use of the Floating City.

Moreover, with the Eternal Fierce Sun still holding the home ground, the Ether Spear certainly did injure Kael, but its impact on Kael himself wasn't as severe as imagined.

The problem is that dealing with some of the aftereffects can be quite troublesome.

Kael raised his hand and looked at the twisted patterns coiling around his hand.

This was a direct manifestation of the effects left on him by the curse, which cut Kael off from the world itself through the residual power of separation of the Ether Spear.

Hence, although Kael had been awake for quite some time, he had no intention of returning home.

The Ether Spear is a curse rooted in concept form. Kael can barely suppress it while staying alone in the Floating City, but if anyone he's related by blood or intimate with comes to the Floating City, it would be troublesome.

Forget about Elanna, even Senior Sister Lily and Aister have been deeply affected, making it impossible for them to casually leave the Floating City.

Once they leave, they would encounter abnormal influences. For example, due to the residual effects of the Ether Spear, once out of the stabilization sphere of the Floating City affecting the spatial constants nearby, whether Kael or Lily and the others, they'd likely be regarded as invasive tumors in the world and be exiled into the Star Realm by the world's counterattack mechanism.

Over the years, Kael's domain over the Floating City has grown to a level of another realm of control; otherwise, Kael wouldn't know how long he'd drift in the Star Realm.

As he thought of this, suddenly Aister's voice rang out:

"Master, a new Floating City is detected approaching again. The other side did not employ any concealment methods and directly sent us a greeting."

Kael paused, then gave a wry smile, saying, "I have just returned to the Godhua continent, and they come running one after the other. Truly..."

A rare hint of helplessness colored Aister's voice: "Master, judging from the number of the other Floating City... it should be the Star Witch's Floating City."

"Who cares if it's the Star Witch or whatever Witch, just tell them not to come closer."

"That is Miss Franca's Floating City..."

Kael paused for a moment and then said no more, only his voice, unusually tinged with a hint of anxiety: "What's he coming here for? The Ether Spear issue hasn't been resolved, so wouldn't he just be adding to the chaos by coming here now?"

"Do you need someone from the autonomous puppets over there to come over?" Aister asked quietly.

"Send 2A over to talk to them. They cannot enter the range of the Titan Floating City Domain's influence right now."

Kael said solemnly.

"Understood. I will issue the relevant instructions to 2A."

Aister replied thusly.

Shortly after, 2A, who had just stopped to rest for only a few minutes, received the order from Aister.

Without thinking much, she got up, prepared a bit, put on a flight pack capable of short-duration flight, and flew directly towards the approaching Floating City.

"It seems our situation here won't be hidden for much longer."

Kael said with a sigh.

[Location: Human Federation]

The Severn River was flowing vigorously, endlessly passing through the Bristol Bay and into the sea. The wind-swept storm clouds carried the unending cries of seabirds, accompanied by thunder, spreading from the horizon.
