"Eveyone move back!" Gordon tunred and scream as some elfs ran past him

He turned and looked up gritting his teeth with the few elf around him

He glanced back and saw the ratman were still near him, his eyes glowed as shoved his sword into the ground [Earth wall]

The elf swang their swords into the air [Gale] air rushed past them to the spells as Gordon wall rose

Flame spell seemed to weaken as the gale of wind pushed back but most spell stood unaffected as they pierced through the wind

Gordon crouched down as the spell rained on his wall

'wheres Jones' He looked glanced back and saw everyone crouched down near him except Jones

He turned to the other eath wall built by the elves and couldn't find him

He opened his mouth loooking at Stacy and shouted "we don't have much time you need to make a decision do we move back and make the earth wall or sit her wait for them to get more momentum!"

Stacy clicked her tongue as looked up at the rain of spells still pouring down on them, she glance at the few rat and mice bodies around her then

Looked past the spell flying down between them to other elves "everyone move back and make a secondary earth wall"

Everyone nodded and waited for the spell to stop as they changed in pattern, the water spears and balls would dampen the wall a little then

The flames spells would would turn the wall brittle, after that the earth spears would pierce through the fragile wall as other spell chipped away at it

The could hear that even the wall in front of them was suffering from the same bombardment as cracks formed on their side

The spells seemed to lessen on them as the walls cracks grew bigger

"Everyone move now" Stacy dashed back to the tree's

And the others followed hers as they ran past the rodents bodies, the ratman ran next to Gordon on the battered ground

"Go tell everyone to get ready" he turned to Valeria as they entered the tree's

The elves now stood at the forest edge as Gordon took up his position next to them, they looked at each other and nodded

"Begin" she spoke thrusting her sword into the ground

Their mana surged underneath the uneven dirt as it combined to raise another wall formed from dirt and a few stones again

A fraction of the first wall crumble and the hobgoblin went in guns blazing but found nothing but rodent bodies and another wall

"This is annoying" Lucy spoke as she stepped through the crumbled section "should we move to the next stage of the plan" she looked down at Luther

He pushed his glasses back "no the elves are still A-Ranks and B-Ranks" he looked up at her "it would be unwise to try to sneak past them when they have yet to use their full strength"

Lucy sighed "you should have killed that ratman then, instead of marking him"

The reached the new as soldiers behind them rushed through the crack in the wall some goblins lips were trembling as they shock of the snow of their robes

Luther turned to Dexter "are the ladders finished"

"Yes sir" Dexter saluted

"Good tell them to climb the wall" Dexter nodded and walked off as Luther turned to Lucy "tell the mages to take a short break and position themselves away from the wall, let the shooters and combatants to step in"

"Yes sir" Lucy walked away as Luther stepped back from the wall letting the soldiers move closer and place the ladders

The space felt a little cramped but he couldn't force some soldiers to return to the other side of the wall, it was still snowing and because of his mistake changing the terrain their moral would deteriorate if forced to stay in that situation

The solders flooded in the clearing as they now stood rubbing shoulder with each other, Dexter in his dark robes stepped forward and face the soldiers

He opened his mouth ready to speak then

"Hey whats that?" a soldier pointed to a rat porking out of one of the holes at the base of the wall

Their eyes widened as rats flooded out of the holes, some pointed their gun but

"Calm down they are just rats theres is nothing impactful they can do the fight" Dexter spoke in calm tone and Luther nodded while Lucy stepped away from the wall

Only soldiers at the front had their guns pointed at the rats as they gathered at the base of wall, the solders at back could draw their weapons because they could shoot their comrades

And no swordman dared to draw their weapons in this cramped space and the mages could do nothing but listen as they stood at the back of the formation

The rats and mice kept on gathering at the base of the wall climbing over each other forming a swam

The solders at front still had their guns pointed as the ladders the set up next to the wall fell one after another as the swam increased

Dexter spoke again "you can lower you weapons as you can see the rats are not attacking you just cowering next to the wall"

The soldiers lowered their weapons but a few kept them pointed at the swam as it increased

Dexter sighed as he looked at the soldiers pointing their wapons at rodents as if they were in a stand off with them

He opened his mouth then

"NOW!!!!"

Gordons voice climbed over the wall and the rats eyes turned cold as they flooded down bearing their teeth and mice moved concealed yet as fast and vicious

The few hobgoblin that had their weapons raised fired past Dexter yet those bullets seem to have done nothing to the frenzi of rodents rushing toward them

The rodents reached Dexter feet, before he could even open his book the rats had reached his waist

His eyes widen as book opened but felt teeth piercing his neck then

"AAAAAHHH" He screamed as the rats bit his eyes then he shut up as a mice bit his tongue he clenched his teeth chewing through the mice

As its blood flowed down his neck the rodents kept bitting his flesh, his book glowed then

His figure vanished yet one rat had his eyeball in it mouth and the soldiers screamed as the rodents dined on their flesh

Luther and Lucy's eyes widen as theirs screamed at the hands of rodents

Some ogre unsheathes their sword as they looked at their comrades eyes get gouged out of their bodies

They swang their sword with the intent to kill the rodents yet with every swing cut down a comrade

Most soldiers that screamed didnt have the mercy of finishing their cry as some rats or mice jumped into their screaming mouths and chewed their tongue moving to their throats

Seem this other broke and unsheathed their weapons fired trying to escape

"RETREAT TO THE FIRST WALL NOW!!" Lucy raised her voice above their screams and Luther could do nothing because if he made a move he would have to slaughter his subordinates

The soldiers rushed back to the wall then

An elf severed someone head clean off, Luther jaw clenched as they fled back into the outer region

Some soldiers fell and died under the trampling of their comrades as the rashed past the crumbled section of the wall

"Someone!!..help!!something is climbing up my butt!!!?" another soldier screamed yet no one listen as the elves butchered them like pigs

The rodents were ruthless following Valeria's instructions they killed the gobling and ogre in such inhuman ways

Their main killing method was targeting the orifices by biting through them entering their bodies then they would ofter target the neck if it is unprotected

And the ratman were helping each other kill the goblins and ogres with Gordon and Jones doing solo kill

Jones used his claws to pierce the necks and gouge out the eyes while Gordon kept cutting throw the panicking goblins and orges like butter

"Time to retreat!" Stacy yelled as the number of enemies dwindling down 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

The elves nodded and ratman moved back as Stacy smirked at the robed goblin standing on the wall

They didn't need to worry about the goblin lunching spells at them because the were still a few soldiers that belonged to him on the battle field

That was the reason the elves held back at slaughtering every goblin near them, they needed to cause damage to the enemies forces without received any damage and the only way the could do that was

By forcing the enemy into a position they wouldn't attack but this also was done to destroy the enemies moral

If the goblin attack the soldiers lose trust in their leader and when soldiers no longer trust their leader they are unwilling to die under his commend yet

Unexpectedly to the elves surprise the rodent damaged the enemies moral by their kill methods because of this those who return alive from the rodent assault will often be in no state to fight

And Luther stood there his vains pulsing as he looked at the fleeing elves at his moment he looked at the soldiers down on the battle field with a cold gaze

His book flashed open as his mana surged then

A hand grapped his shoulder "its still the start of the fight" Lucy spoke

Luther said nothing just shit his book and climbed down the wall as Lucy sighed looking at the battle field

On scotched soil an armoured figures was on his knee, eyes shut and hand clutched together

Lava flowed around him yet he seemed unaffected as he mumbled in tongues

Lighting surged through the clouds at every word then

The lightning turned gold as the trims on his white armour turned gold

His voice deepen as he finished"Lord show me the way"

The rained down in front of him

The space in front of him creaked as if glass and he smiled as he looked at the other side that crumbled when the lightning struck again
