Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 732: New Immortals
What had Kael done in that final moment?
It was unclear. ππ«ππ²ππππ§π πππ₯.πππ
Whether he survived or not was also very hard to tell as he was not seen anywhere and Ibadon was sure that he did not teleport away at the last moment, he had made sure of it.
Ibadon had been overwhelmed by a lot of things, including Kaelβs mysterious transformation, so he did not really pay any attention to other things happening around him.
Ibadon underestimated just how opportunistic Kael could be. The All-King would never be satisfied with just losing both ways.
He had to ensure that he gained something from all of it.
And so, in that final moment, in that very final millisecond, he had used his powers and the various laws, especially the Law of Connection and the Law of Good Luck, to connect all the chosen one hundred plus tier 7 lion kings.
There was nothing to fear, the All-King had told himself as he forcefully initiated the evolutions of all of them.
For some time now, Kael had been seeking an easy way to expedite the entire evolution to immortality process, and his only options were to either wait for it to happen naturally or use the Honey from the bees, which were still inaccessible for now.
To use the detonation grommet crystal throne was a last-minute thought. Kael just didnβt want to lose both ways.
Since there was no way of avoiding his fate, he might as well reap some benefits.
The tier 7 lion kings had always been searching for that one extreme activity that lay in a sweet spot between safe and incredibly dangerous.
With Kaelβs presence, their chances of success would be greatly increased.
All that had to be done was for them to initiate it.
Of course, using the crystal throneβs detonation as that extreme activity was a really risky thing to do. That was why Kael had cranked up his Good Luck essence at the last moment.
Now, out of the hundred plus Kael had found this for, exactly one hundred had survived and successfully reached the immortal stage.
This would have been a call for celebration if not for the fact that these souls were currently in a very precarious situation.
Their souls were all that was left after the detonation. Although, because of spontaneous evolution, their bodies were piggybacking on the effects to rebuild themselves.
But at this moment, they were somewhat vulnerable for a few breaths.
Ibadon did not like this at all.
His formless soul was like a shark in murky waters, pushing through the void with whatever power he had left in pursuit of the closest lion soul.
How could he allow the lions to gain more immortals? How could he allow such a thing?
Wouldnβt that just foil his plans and make it way harder for him to eliminate all the lions?
Ibadon rushed to the nearest soul, his shape emitting a tense suction force with the intent of devouring it.
Both Ibadonβs and this soul were almost transparent and formless, also close to the same size.
However, Ibadonβs soul was way denser and his powers still worked to a certain extent.
And so, Ibadon quickly flew over and his soul clashed with the soul of the newly evolved immortal.
Instantly, Ibadon devoured the soul. It wasnβt worth mentioning as Ibadon had turned and was chasing after the next lion soul.
Ibadon didnβt have time to play. Every moment he spent not devouring these souls was an extra hundred thousand or one million years of painful patience.
Without mercy, Ibadon devoured ten more souls, bringing the total number of defenseless immortal lion souls to eighty-nine.
What a major loss it was.
However, at this moment, something shifted within the souls of the remaining ones.
It was subtle, but as Ibadon was rushing toward the next lion soul, he noticed a faint golden glimmer inside the soul.
It was very faint and almost negligible.
But the golden colour was so familiar that Ibadon instinctively increased his speed, covering thousands of kilometres with every instant to reach it.
He MUST not allow the All-King to succeed!
Meanwhile, all the remaining souls had simultaneously emitted that faint golden glimmer.
This was not a coincidence, it was the true light of the lion system coming back to life within the souls of these fallen kings.
Yes, the lion system.
And if the lion system was still active even after the detonation, it could only mean one thing.
All the souls of the fallen kings received the same message from the same person.
///
All-King: Do not sleep, kings, the battle is not yet over.
Wake up!
///
Instantly, it was like a planet could no longer bear the weight of its own mass and collapsed on itself.
All the souls vibrated, having received direction strain from the source of their existence.
A shockwave was emitted from all the souls and Ibadonβs soul was slowed down. He looked on with a nonexistent terrified expression as those souls started squirming.
Light began to gather around the form of those souls. These dots of light arranged themselves and transformed into tiny molecules, vibrating at the same frequency as the souls.
Ibadon watched as those molecules smashed into themselves, forming what could only be considered a super-dense body.
Soon, a tall and majestic lion was where the soul used to be. Lustrous brown fur with a lighter shade for his mane. He looked around, his eyes absent of the confusion that one would expect from such a being.
The aura pouring out from this lion was incredible and heavy. He took a step forward, and his front paw met the solid void.
The void literally became stiff so that he could stand on it properly. His sharp ivory claws edged out of his paws and cut into the space under him.
While looking around, his mane flushed to the left and right. His disdainful beady yellow eyes locked onto Ibadonβs soul almost instantly.
This was not a random lion.
This was one of Memphisβ close friends and a close subordinate of the All-King.
Lion King Quin.
Not just Quin, but the eyes of all the newly assembled Immortal Lion Kings all focused on the formless soul of Ibadon.
Three questions appeared in their minds. How did they survive? Should they finish off this last remaining shadow of Ibadon?
And where was the All-King?
The last question was a very valid one that even Ibadon would like an answer to. Because, even his body was destroyed. So there was no doubt that the All-King did not survive that detonation.
What happened?
