Chapter 721: Chapter 721: God-level Artifact

The monkey race, if nothing went wrong, would eventually discover everything about the universe once again and realize that the only thing they don’t know yet is the multiverse.

It was inevitable.

And if care was not taken, the Highest Will would not only wipe out the monkey race again, but also punish the lion race.

Kael calmed his awakened mind.

He leaned back and rested his back on the backrest of the wooden bench.

"From now on, I’ll be more involved in the raising of this one," Kael said, judging that this was the best way to keep his control over the monkeys.

The monkeys needed a leash, if not, they would destroy everyone.

Why was wisdom so destructive?

"Okay," N’bayé said. She felt that was her best solution. She herself was a very bad mother figure and would not be able to raise George to become a functional adult.

"Kael, can I say something?" N’bayé said after thinking of something.

"Always feel free," Kael said, waving his hand and wondering why she would ask such a thing.

He had never restricted them from saying anything to him, only that they maintain a certain level of respect, and even that was not ironclad.

N’bayé continued, "Kael, I have been studying with the monkeys for a long time and I am amazed by their intelligence.

One thing I can say is that their intelligence makes them a significant threat to our lion race.

The brutal truth is that the average monkey is more intelligent than the average lion. Only our maguses would be able to close the gap in intelligence.

But that is just a small fraction of our force compared to the overwhelming population of the monkeys.

I am sure you do not wish to wipe them out just because of their intelligence. They are too valuable to do that.

But at the same time, I think we need a way to close the gap between our lion race and the monkey race.

If not, they may find a way to rebel in the future.

They had once created Project APE and the devolution seeds. Who knows what else they would create in this era?"

Kael listened attentively and waited for N’bayé to finish talking. He was glad that she brought this up because out of the millions of things on his mind right now, this wasn’t one of them.

"I know," Kael said, "But we have no need for trickery. There is a simple way to solve this problem.

A very simple way that no matter how smart the monkeys get, they would never be able to surpass the might of the lion civilization."

N’bayé’s eyes brightened, "What is it, Your Majesty?"

Kael wore a mysterious smile on his face, contemplating whether to reveal his grand plan early or not.

Ah this very moment, he had completed his embodiment of the Law of Conquering.

At this very second, Kael was now a confirmed Singularity Existence.

N’bayé noticed that Kael’s presence became way heavier than usual and also became impossibly stable.

There was no aura leakage. But she noticed his stance became more solid, and his facial expression also became way more relaxed than usual.

With the little she could glean from his eyes, N’bayé would say that this was a sign that Kael was at peace with himself.

"There’s trouble in heaven," Kael said to N’bayé, "It had best be handled before any permanent damage can be done."

As Kael spoke, a weird glint flashed in his eyes, as if he was looking forward to what he was about to do.

The All-King wouldn’t leave Leonine Heaven in the state that it was if he didn’t have a guess for how it was going to be solved.

Kael knew some measures he could take, some very drastic ones that would make even Ibadon shocked.

But first,.he had needed to complete his embodiment to be sure that everything would go according to plan.

Kael didn’t care about the first wave of dragons and their subspecies, nor did he care about the lions and lionesses that would inevitably be killed in the first act of the invasion.

Those lionesses and lions would serve as distractions, shielding the All-King. It was a small price to pay for a larger victory.

"Your progress with the research into god-level artifacts, how is it?" Kael asked.

He might as well clear everything here while he still could.

"I’m done," N’bayé said, looking very excited all of a sudden.

"We’ve managed to map out exactly how a god artifact works. Basically, it’s just an item to assist in warping reality.

How it warps reality is usually dependent on the type of artifact. Some artifacts created, some destroyed, some controlled, and some like the Black Gauntlet, will enhance the abilities of the user.

This is all theoretical of course, the only artifact of that calibre we have ever come across is the Gauntlet.

But we can be sure that there are more existing out in the world beyond the perception of everyone.

However, all these theories don’t matter for now. We have reached a limit in our research.

Unless we can start doing some real practicals, we would be stuck where we are."

Kael raised one of his eyebrows questioningly, "You want to create a godly artifact? So soon?"

N’bayé nodded, "Yes.

With the help of the monkeys, some Builder Races to assist, and with me as a supervisor, I believe we will be able to make our first god-level artifact.

We can even make the first one for you, according to how you like it,"

"What is your perceived success rate?" Kael asked.

Creating a god-level artifact would cost a lot of resources. And not just any resources, but high-level and hard-to-find resources.

He wanted to be sure that she would be able to put these resources to good use with as little wastage as possible.

The lions didn’t have access to excess for now.

"Seventy percent," N’bayé said confidently, "Our success rate is expected to increase massively after every possible failure."

"Oh, what materials will you need?" Kael asked.

"I looked at the material that the Gauntlet comprises, it seems it’s not made of one particular material but an amalgamation of multiple minerals, hard cast to create that shape and form.

We can develop our own method of creating such materials very fast. It’s not an issue.

Actually, we were even thinking of making the material extremely flexible, since we want to make it for you.

It’s not something that will ask you for an arm or leg just so that you can use it.

There are a lot of things to factor in, what matters is that it is doable," N’bayé said.

She couldn’t wait for Kael to approve and start funneling resources to her.

"In that case, I shall personally get involved in this process," Kael said, not beyond N’bayé’s expectations.

It was only expected that Kael would want the best for himself, even though it was the first time they were attempting to make it.

"Yes, Your Majesty," N’bayé agreed.

To her, having the All-King who now had the Law of Wisdom on his side to participate in the crafting of the first god-level artifact was an added bonus.

Kael stood up from the bench. His form towered over N’bayé and the baby pod with the little baby monkey in it.

"George will be left here for now, we shall allow the monkey to grow without restraint for now.

I will be coming here more frequently from now on so there’s no need to take him with me.

Your fear for the monkey’s potential is not unfounded, but there are simple ways to ensure even wisdom cannot overcome tyranny."

As Kael spoke, his calm golden eyes flashed with a bit of colour. Under his command, the gears of all the systems began to turn without the knowledge of many.

Hundreds of thousands of missions were issued in that very second to lions and other creatures. Creatures like Termites, wolves, magpies, and others were being mobilized.

Lions who were adept at magic engineering were also being summoned.

It was time he let some of his subordinates in on one of his secrets. He and N’bayé would not be able to create the god-level artifact alone.

They needed extra hands and extra minds, they needed resources and they needed those who would handle the logistics of those resources.

While the invasion in heaven was getting hotter by the second, Kael began issuing secret missions to a select few. Missions that they were obligated to never talk about whether they accepted it or not.

If not, the Web and Kael were watching, and there would be consequences.

At this time, Kael received a message from one of his Primordial Subordinates, Charvi.

Charvi: All-King, it is done. Thank you.

Kael glanced at the golden screen and thought for a second. He was about to go back to heaven to handle the troubles that had come knocking on his door.

Kael: Send me her head.
