Rehab for SuperVillains (18+)-Chapter 246: Halfway
Chapter 246: Halfway
Halfway through, during a particularly cheesy love confession, Liss checked the villa’s security feed.
The camera showed the living room—Lila and Tila on the couch, Tila slouched stiffly, arms crossed, her black eyes blazing, the tail plug swishing faintly.
Lila leaned in, grinning, her black eyes glinting as she gave Tila’s tail a playful tug.
Tila jolted, slapping her sister’s hand away without a word, her cheeks flushing crimson.
Liss actually giggled, her blue eyes sparkling with amusement. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
By the time the credits rolled, Rhea was popping the last candy into her mouth, not a single snack left, her amber eyes triumphant.
Kael looked at the empty cup she handed him, his hazel eyes amused. "You timed that... perfectly."
"I always plan snack logistics," Rhea said proudly, her crimson hair bouncing as she stood.
"Art and science, baby."
"Are you sure you understand what they mean?" Kael asked her grinning.
The group exited the theater, blinking into the mall’s bright, artificial lights, conversations echoing across glass and tile.
"That was actually decent," Kael admitted, his hazel eyes warm. "Good pick, Freya."
She smiled, satisfied, her blue eyes softening. "Told you I know what you like."
"Oh, really?" Kael teased, his voice low, his hazel eyes glinting with a flirtatious edge.
Freya raised a brow, playfully smug, stepping closer, her body brushing his. "In and out of the theater."
Then she leaned in, her breath warm at his ear, her voice dropping to a husky whisper."And in all the ways that make you moan."

They piled into Liss’s super car and went back to the villa, the evening settling into a familiar comfort, the city’s hum fading behind them.
When they arrived, the front door opened before they could knock, revealing Tila standing there, arms crossed, lips pursed, her black eyes blazing with restrained fury.
The tail plug swished behind her, a provocative reminder of her role.
"Welcome back, Master Kael," she said, her voice stiff, the word Master dripping with venom, her cheeks flushed, her wild black hair framing her defiant face.
"I’m back, Tila," Kael said as he stepped inside Liss’s villa, his hazel eyes glinting with a playful edge, the evening’s weight settling into the familiar chaos of the house.
Behind him, Freya, Rhea, and Liss trailed in, their smirks sharp as they passed Tila, who stood rigid by the door, her black eyes blazing with barely restrained fury, her wild black hair framing her flushed face.
The tail plug swished behind her, her t-shirt and shorts doing little to hide her tense posture.
Freya leaned in close, her blue eyes sparkling with mischief, her platinum-cyan hair tucked under a loose bun.
"Did you practice your curtsy?" she teased, her voice sultry.
Rhea gave a mock bow, her amber eyes gleaming, her crimson hair bouncing.
"Welcome home, Master Kael," she said with dramatic flair, her hoodie unzipped to reveal a fitted shirt.
Liss chuckled, her blonde bun bouncing, her blue eyes glinting behind her sunglasses.
"Maybe I should buy her a cute maid outfit next. Frills and ribbons."
Tila glared at all of them, her black eyes flashing, her tail twitching dangerously close to lashing, but she stayed silent, her cheeks burning.
Kael lifted his hand, palm hovering expectantly before her, his hazel eyes steady, a faint grin tugging at his lips.
Tila blinked, confusion flickering in her black eyes, then realization hit. She spun around, muttering,
"Hot towel—right," and rushed off, her tail swishing with each step.
Lila stepped out from the hallway, holding a neatly folded towel, her black eyes soft, her curls framing her pale face, a sweet smile on her lips.
"You forgot this," she said, her voice gentle.
Tila snatched it with a scowl, her black eyes narrowing, and stormed back to Kael, thrusting the towel into his outstretched hand, her tail twitching.
Kael took it calmly, draping it over his shoulder, his hazel eyes warm.
"Thanks."
He walked past her into the main lounge, Tila trailing a few steps behind, her posture stiff.
"So, Tila," he asked, his voice casual but teasing, "how was your day? Did you clean the house?"
"Yes, Master," Tila said through slightly gritted teeth, her black eyes burning, her tail swishing faintly. "I cleaned the entire house."
"Good job," Kael said, turning slightly, reaching out to pat her head softly, his fingers brushing through her wild black hair.
Tila flinched, her black eyes widening, her body tensing as if to pull away, but she stayed still, her lips a thin line, her role as maid holding her in check.
In the background, the house buzzed into motion.
Freya headed to the kitchen, pulling her hair into a tight bun, her blue eyes focused.
"Dinner in thirty," she announced, her voice sultry but firm.
Rhea dropped onto the couch beside Lila, grabbing the remote and flipping to a loud, colorful cartoon, her amber eyes gleaming.
"Really?" Lila said, her black eyes deadpan, her curls bouncing.
"Shhh. It’s the talking raccoons episode," Rhea replied, her grin wide.
Kael went ahead and caught Liss before she disappeared into her room, his hazel eyes glinting as he whispered something in her ear, his breath warm.
Liss blinked, her blue eyes sparkling, and whispered back, "Got it," giving him a quick wink and then entering into her room to shower.
Tila, silently watching, shot Kael a sidelong glance, her black eyes narrowing, but she said nothing, turning to prepare his bath, her tail swishing with each step.
Kael walked up the stairs to his room, locking the door behind him with a faint click, the sound echoing in the quiet space.
He crossed to his desk, sat down, and unlocked his phone, his hazel eyes narrowing as he scrolled past messages to a video file marked only with a timestamp.
He tapped it, the screen lighting up with shaky, grayscale footage from a hidden camera.
The ruins of the Haven filled the screen—collapsed beams, scorched earth, shattered walls, a graveyard of his former sanctuary.
But it wasn’t the wreckage that held Kael’s attention.
It was the man standing in the middle of it.
Harris.
