Reborn To Be The Imperial Consort [BL]-Chapter 52: (M) Thalassotélos — I
Chapter 52: (M) Thalassotélos — I
WARNING: Latter part of the Chapter is as bloody as it is sexual, please read it at your own discretion. Enjoy.
They had been perhaps three centuries and a half years old when it happened. Truthfully, neither of them had been completely ignorant about it.
How could they possibly be ignorant of something as important as it when at their origin? Hu Lijing and Long ZhenHai both were well aware of what they were, not by nurture, but by their nature, by the root of their existence.
No matter how ethereal, both of them, a flame-borne three-tailed divine fox spirit and a water-borne dragon spirit—they were beasts.
They were spirit beasts, yes. But they were still beasts.
And by the commandment of their beastly nature, Hu Lijing and Long ZhenHai were bound to undergo that experience one day or another.
Both of their clans understood that fact, hence, both of them had been individually educated on it by their clans.
And the "it" was Estrus.
Estrus, a common phenomenon in beasts — their kind — in which those undergoing estrus will have their sexual desires heightened to the extreme. Almost mindlessly, they would feel the intense need to mate with another of either their kind or someone of different race.
Mostly their kind.
According to what Hu Lijing had seen those older than him experience, estrus typically lasted 5-6 days from spirit foxes like him.
Hu Lijing had yet to have his first estrus. Considering his body had yet to give him any particular signs pointing towards any sort of incoming estrus, he wasn’t too worried.
So when Long ZhenHai’s acquaintance from the clan of dragons came to him, worry etched on his features, Hu Lijing couldn’t help but feel confused.
But once he heard the dragon’s words, he couldn’t stop himself from raising a sceptical brow.
"... And how am I to know? Pardon my insolence, Young Master."
The dragon’s face crumbled for a moment before he replied with the same tone of urgency.
"Young Master Hu, Young Master ZhenHai has not returned from his lair for sometime now and the only person who can enter his lair other than Young Master himself is you. I implore you to go see if Young Master is well, please, Young Master Hu."
Upon hearing the explanation, the divine fox’s heart softened slightly as he gave it a thought for a moment before nodding finally.
"Very well," the fox hummed, a little hesitant. "I’ll go see if there is something amiss with your Young Master."
The dragon bowed low to him, gratitude bleeding into his voice as he murmured. "Many thanks, Young Master Hu."
Hu Lijing nodded slowly as he turned on his heels, preparing to leave. However, he hadn’t even taken a few steps away before the dragon called out from behind him.
"Young Master Hu... Please be cautious, I suspect that Young Master ZhenHai might be experiencing estrus or going to undergo his estrus."
Hu Lijing stilled, various less than ideal images filling his mind for a fraction of a second before he nodded tersely and strode away, flicking his sleeves.
Internally, he hoped it wouldn’t happen. But who could say for sure.
Moreover, he and ZhenHai were two of their kind, their soul imprint was the same, Hu Lijing had a sneaking suspicion that the dragon would not be able to bear his estrus with anyone but him.
That was okay, Hu Lijing could help him out if needed. It wasn’t as if they would have anything beyond a mere physical relationship with one another anyway.
With a shake of his head, the divine fox raised his hand, claws emerging in his fingers as his tails swished whilst he slashed through the space, bearing one single destination in his mind.
He was mentally prepared for it.
...
He was not prepared for it. No. Not at all.
Hu Lijing was not prepared to have Long ZhenHai jump his bones the moment he set foot on the island.
The water dragon threw himself onto Hu Lijing, his body too wet from soaking in the cold sea in a pitiful attempt to cool down the heat simmering in his body, burning in his veins.
The moment Hu Lijing’s and his body touched, a loud sizzle echoed in the wilderness. His wet, translucent white robes that were clinging to his robust frame drying immediately the moment they touched the divine fox.
Long ZhenHai let out an animalistically guttural noise at the back of his throat as he desperately hung on Hu Lijing, his usually cold body burning with flames he couldn’t see nor put out.
A soft coo bubbled in his throat, scaly hands and arms wrapping around Hu Lijing’s body as they pulled him closer, the dragon groaning and nuzzling into the junction between his neck and shoulder.
"Jing’ge..." he let out a wronged whine, deep voice wavering as he all but clawed at Hu Lijing, sharp appendages slicing through the fox’s robes and scratching his body. "Jing’ge... So uncomfortable.." he bared his teeth, growling as he pushed the fox down on the sand clawed hands seizing the latter’s throat as he looked down at him with dilated pupils, alternating between the black slits of clarity and dilation of unbridled lust.
Hu Lijing looked up at him, frowning at his animalistic state and the scalding heat of the dragon’s body. Even he almost couldn’t bear this temperature.
And usually Hu Lijing was the one with higher temperature between them.
He couldn’t help but feel soft knowing the amount of discomfort Long ZhenHai must be feeling.
The dragon loomed above his form, growling with his teeth bared and hand wrapped around his delicate neck.
Hu Lijing’s pupils dilated, lips pursed as he felt the dangerous squeeze.
"Long ZhenHai—"
"—What is Jing’ge doing... Here?" The dragon cut him off, sharp canines sticking out as he leaned down, raven locks flowing down. His hand squeezed a little more.
His nose found its way to Hu Lijing’s throat, his hand forcing him to bar it to the dragon who took a deep breath, a growl leaving him.
Hu Lijing winced, feeling his scratched back run against the ground as he accepted his advances, his own fingers carding through the dragon’s hair.
"Long ZhenHai— ah—!"
Long ZhenHai didn’t let him speak, his sharp teeth bit down on his neck, the canines piercing through the layer of flesh as nerves ruptured and his long tongue slithered out to lick at the flowing blood. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
Hu Lijing groaned, twisting under him as he took a sharp breath, feeling the warm, viscous fluid flow down his bitten neck.
Face red, the fox gritted his teeth, sweat trickling down his forehead as Long ZhenHai bit off a chunk of his flesh, violent and dominating.
The fox’s own claws sprang out, arousal flooded his body as a wave of unbearable heat poured down his veins.
The divine fox let out a keen. The claws of one hand dug into the dragon’s scalp while the other trailed down his nape, slashing through his flesh and staining his fingers in warm blood.
Hu Lijing groaned. "Long ZhenHai, let me transform into a wo—"
The dragon squeezed at his mauled throat, claws digging past his skin, soaking the sand in a bright crimson hue of blood.
A cry left Hu Lijing’s body, his transformation halting below his waist, his face flushed a deeper shade of red, a shaky sigh fell from his lips.
Long ZhenHai bit down on his shoulder, more blood, more pain. His claws tore away the fox’s clothes while the fox chipped away the flesh of his neck and shoulder.
"ZhenHai. ZhenHai..." Hu Lijing called out as the dragon parted from the flesh of his body, mouth stained in his blood, the dragon captured his lips, making him taste his own blood as the tongue slid past his lips.
The dragon growled at the kiss, if it could even be called one, his rutting beastly, his movements almost like a twisted ritual of a fallen god.
And their mating was a forbidden art of souls.
