Reborn In the Apocalypse: My Hotel Has Unlimited Supplies-Chapter 98
"You better look carefully, otherwise if you’re not satisfied with your stay and want to switch back to Zone A, you’ll have to wait a month."
Of course, Chu Jiangyue couldn’t really listen to what Shen Zhigui said; she checked for herself. If problems arose later, she’d be blamed.
"I’ve looked carefully. We’ll take this one; five rooms are just right."
Previously, they hadn’t changed rooms mainly because Shen Zhigui found it too troublesome.
But living separately also had its drawbacks—information wasn’t fully shared, leading to delays.
If they lived together, future outings would be easier to discuss.
"Alright, I’ll make the switch for you."
Chu Jiangyue pulled up the accommodation information for Shen Zhigui and the four others, "Your current room fees are paid for three months, totaling 4 gold coins and 50 silver coins. Five rooms and one living room in Zone B cost 20 silver coins per day, converting to 22 days’ room fee, leaving 10 silver coins.
Pay an additional 20 silver coins, and I’ll calculate for 23 days’ room fee."
Chu Jiangyue wouldn’t refund any spent money anyway.
Shen Zhigui had no objections to Chu Jiangyue’s calculations and directly swiped the card to pay one day’s room fee.
Room fees in Zone B were twice as expensive as the luxury suites in Zone A.
This immediately dissuaded many who were clamoring to switch zones.
Chu Jiangyue enjoyed the leisure, as there would always be someone to check in anyway.
"Boss Chu, they’ve vacated five rooms; can we move in?"
Some quick-witted people had already come to inquire about the single rooms Shen Zhigui’s group previously stayed in.
Chu Jiangyue glanced at the inquisitive little fox and nodded, "Of course, since they changed rooms, their previous rooms are vacant, others can definitely move in."
"Boss Chu, our luggage is still in the room, we haven’t taken it out."
They had come with a try-it-and-see attitude, not expecting such a smooth process.
"The hotel will automatically pack detected items and place them at the door for you to collect." 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
This was to prevent some guests from moving incompletely and affecting the next guest’s experience.
If a guest checked out or changed rooms, the hotel would automatically remove items brought into the original room, similar to a one-click clean.
Hearing Chu Jiangyue’s words, Shen Zhigui’s group breathed a sigh of relief, bid farewell to Chu Jiangyue, and planned to move their luggage to the room in Zone B.
With Shen Zhigui’s group as the first to switch zones and check-in, many others decided to change rooms as well.
Chu Jiangyue handled no less than 20 room change transactions today.
Even Song Chengjun joined in on the fun.
After Song Chengjun left, Ling Feng and the other three were reluctant to pay more room fees, so they simply checked out and switched to a three-room, one-living-area in Zone B.
Because of the Zone B accommodation situation, many who were out returned.
Some came to grab a room, while others wanted to change rooms.
Until around six o’clock in the evening, Chu Jiangyue finally finished most of the tasks.
Back at the log cabin, Granny Hua had already prepared dinner for her. The foul mood from working non-stop all day cleared up significantly.
"Thank you, Granny Hua, what would I do without you!"
Looking at the delicious and aromatic dishes on the table, Chu Jiangyue once again felt hiring Granny Hua was a wise decision.
"Eat more if you enjoy it; you’re so thin, there’s hardly any flesh on you."
Chu Jiangyue was indeed very thin, but not the malnourished kind; she had what she needed.
She was the type that appeared trim in clothes but had muscle beneath.
After dinner, as night deepened, Chu Jiangyue gazed out the window from the log cabin’s second floor, encompassing half of Jianglin Hotel.
[The hotel meets the upgrade conditions; upgrade? Yes/No]
After confirming no one was strolling outside, Chu Jiangyue clicked the upgrade button.
In the next instant, the whole Jianglin Hotel was enveloped in a thick fog, intermittently accompanied by clattering sounds.
Chu Jiangyue closed the doors and windows and quickly fell asleep to the sounds of renovation.

Early the next day, as dawn broke, people began to wake up at Jianglin Hotel.
Upon stepping out of their rooms, someone noticed something was amiss.
"Ah! Jianglin Hotel seems to have gotten a lot bigger!"
"Look over there, isn’t that where Boss Chu’s house was? It’s turned from a two-story wooden cabin into a three-story flat-topped brick house."
The spatial layout inside Jianglin Hotel hadn’t changed drastically, but there were subtle shifts.
The restaurant expanded from one floor to two, with two additional robot servers inside.
The grocery store hadn’t changed much overall, but it now had one more robot server inside.
Inside the residential areas of Zone A and Zone B, the roads between each building had noticeably widened, with robot patrols occasionally passing by, cleaning and greeting people.
The office hall was still one floor, but the building received a comprehensive upgrade, with increased footprint, accommodating two more robots alongside Jiang Yang.
Of course, the biggest changes occurred where Chu Jiangyue lived.
Transforming from a wooden cabin to a red brick flat-roofed house was a significant shift.
Chu Jiangyue’s room moved from the second to the third floor, with the second floor becoming her study, gym, etc.
The first floor was a kitchen, dining hall, living room, and tool room.
The silver off-road vehicle previously only usable via navigation now appeared right next to the house in the parking spot.
Chu Jiangyue found this very pleasing.
[Task Published: Achieve 80% occupancy rate in Zone B (1/80), Task Reward: To be unlocked]
Upon seeing the new task, Chu Jiangyue felt it wouldn’t be easy to accomplish.
The cost of Zone B accommodation was twice that of the luxury suites in Zone A, prompting many to choose Zone A if given the option.
After all, it’s affordable, reasonably priced, and the environment is much better than living in the City B base.
Thus, she realized she needed to find a second base for collaboration.
She wondered whether the head of the next base would have Lu Zhengyao’s decisiveness and establish a safe channel.
If the distance to City B’s base wasn’t far, it could connect the safe channels between the two bases.
At any rate, Chu Jiangyue thought, they could establish a sort of relay point at City B’s base.
She wondered if unlocked items could be put in a container and sold to guests at the relay.
’Little Fox, can you now scan more range? Besides the City B base near Jianglin Hotel, are there other bases?’
"Host, there are currently no other human settlements scanned besides the City B base."
Little Fox knew Chu Jiangyue aimed to complete tasks by finding more residents for Jianglin Hotel.
With Jianglin Hotel expanded to Level 4, the spatial range expanded significantly, granting Little Fox broader scanning ability.
Yet, the distance between two bases must be quite far, and Little Fox hadn’t scanned any others yet.
Unable to rely on Little Fox, Chu Jiangyue decided to seek Lu Zhengyao and Song Chengjun.
