With the split of the Uchiha clan into the Uchiha clan and the Hagoromo clan, peace returned to the Land of Fire.

The Hagoromo clan was mostly made of branch family members of the Uchiha clan with mixed bloodlines from several other clans. It's part of the reason these shinobis had low potential to awaken the Sharingan and thus they had to depend on the forbidden drug to stimulate their Uchiha blood.

Now, with the recipe of the Forbidden drug sealed in the main branch's hands, they had no choice but to seek alternatives.

It was in such needy times that Black Zetsu came to their aid. He secretly contacted the current head of the Hagoromo clan, Toshiko, and manipulated him.

'This branch family of the Uchiha clan can serve as the perfect test subjects to test the potency of my method to awaken the Rinnegan.' Black Zetsu thinks to himself.

'These people are the outcasts of the Uchiha clan and are basically abandoned by the main family. They are desperate to prove their worth and continue their bloodline.'

Thus, with Black Zetsu's manipulation, the members of the Hagoromo clan became active. They hunted and secretly kidnapped the Senju and the Uzumaki clan members under their leader's order.

In a secret underground facility within the Hagoromo clan, Toshiko, the current leader of the Hagoromo clan, starts the concoction of the secret formula provided by the Black Zetsu.

Corpses of the Senju and the Uzumaki clan members were pinned to the walls. Blood dripped from their body, slowly gathering in a large pool in the middle of the room. The blood of the Senju and the Uzumaki clan was the key ingredient for the secret pill and he had no qualms about hunting their members since they had deep-seated enmity with the two clans.

Several Fuinjutsu runes were etched along the blood channels and on the walls of the blood pool.

The fuinjutsu runes were glowing with a bright light and slowly condensing the blood into concentrated beads.

Meanwhile, Toshiko added several other ingredients and reagents to the blood according to the formula provided by the Black Zetsu.

There was a hint of madness in his eyes and his face was twisted with a sinister expression.

Soon, the entire blood in the blood pool dried up, leaving behind a batch of dark purple pills.

"It was a success!" His eyes gleam brightly and he hastily collects the pill.

"I will call them 'Bloodline Pills'."

Later, in the meeting hall,

Toshiko summons the adult clan members and presents the dark purple pills to them.

"These pills are the future of our clan. They will help us awaken our bloodline and grant us a power superior to the Sharingan." He exclaims.

The clan members stare at Toshiko with skeptical eyes. Despite their doubts, they trust their leader and take the 'Bloodline pills'.

Days continue, and Toshiko continues to concoct the 'Bloodline pills' every three months.

It took time to gather enough ingredients to create a batch of pills. Slowly, the doubts of the Hagoromo clan members grew even further since the new pill seemed to have no effect on them whatsoever.

After a year,

The clan members gather again and Toshiko distributes another batch of the bloodline pills. Most members accept the pill. However, a few of them hesitate to consume it.

After such a long period, even a fool can figure out the key ingredients of the bloodline pill since most of them contributed to gathering the materials for this pill.

However, these people didn't voice their objections out of fear and concern. Despite their doubts, there were still several clan members who were firm believers in the clan leader, trusting him unconditionally.

ARGH…

Suddenly, one member who ate the pill grabbed his head in pain. Tears of blood leak from his eyes. Veins pop out around his eyes. His agonizing screams echo throughout the hall. Beads of sweat roll down his body and his face runs red from the blood surge.

AH!

The rest of the members are stunned by this sudden development. Some members who were about to consume the pill stopped, terrified at the sight.

They have heard about the process of bloodline awakening from their elders, but had never seen such an extreme sight. Even the elders who knew about the process were shaken slightly. The previous pill didn't seem to have such an immense effect.

Cold sweat pours down their body. Their legs turn weak, unable to even move a muscle under the effect of the genjutsu. All of their senses turn numb and slowly their perception fades away. The surrounding hall disappears and all of them appear in a dark, isolated chamber with massive eyes in front of them. A creeping chill lingers in their surroundings, suffocating them.

"So powerful!" A few skeptical elders murmur after witnessing the power of the eyes firsthand.

"Dispel!"

With a loud snap from Toshiko, the clan members break free from the powerful genjutsu and return to reality.

"You didn't disappoint me, Mitsuru!" Toshiko praises the first person in the clan to awaken the new power.

"Thank you for your trust, Toshiko-sama!" Mitsuru bows to Toshiko in reverence.

Black Zetsu observes the entire situation unfold from a dark corner.

'The experiment was successful!' He mutters before disappearing into the ground.

"The Sharingan isn't the only visual prowess of the Uchiha clan. Even if we are a branch family, we had the potential to surpass the main family." ƒгeewebnovёl.com

Suddenly, several frantic discussions break out in the clan hall. The clan members enthusiastically discuss Mitsuru's new eyes.

"Toshiko, what is the name of these eyes?" One elder asks Toshiko.

"Yes, Toshiko-sama, what should we call these eyes?" Another member asks.

Hmm…

Toshiko ponders for a while and opens his eyes.

"From now on, these eyes shall be named the 'Genreigan' or 'the Spirit Illusion Eye'. And they shall be the prized possession of our 'Hagoromo clan'." Toshiko declares proudly.

The clan members cheers in joy and enthusiasm.
