Reborn as the Sweetheart of a Paranoid Boss-Chapter 367: My Years as a School Bully Turned Betrayer
Finn hurriedly said, "No way, sister-in-law, I’m thinking about the future of the department!"
"Besides, Sloane has such good qualifications, wouldn’t it be fun to add a little spice to campus life by joining a student organization?"
Finn was still trying to win over Sloane Hawthorne.
Selena Kensington pulled Sloane a little further, looking suspiciously at Finn.
"Are these words... really from your mouth?"
Why did it feel so awkward?
Wasn’t he the same campus bully who flew into a rage a year ago for being stopped because he wasn’t wearing a school badge while in camouflage?
Finn was at a loss, knowing that his current demeanor didn’t quite match his bully image.
"...I don’t want to either, but that minister kept nagging in my ear for weeks, and now I just say it unconsciously."
"...That minister really influenced you a lot."
Selena’s lip twitched slightly.
Finn was really acting differently now.
Finn awkwardly tugged at the corners of his mouth, "... hahaha."
Finally, the three of them reached the place where Selena had parked.
"Sloane, where’s your dorm?"
Selena asked.
Sloane picked up the form in her hand, "Artisan Hall, Building One, A203."
"Oh, Artisan Hall, I live there too, I’ll take you!"
Finn immediately said.
"Alright, alright, then you carry this luggage."
Selena didn’t refuse him, and even handed Sloane’s luggage over to her.
"I got it, sis..."
Sloane, a bit flustered, quickly said.
Before she could take the luggage, Finn grabbed the handle, "No worries, how could I let a girl carry the suitcase?"
Hearing Finn say this, Sloane couldn’t refuse either.
Selena pulled Sloane’s hand, "It’s fine, let him carry it."
Hearing Selena say this, Sloane finally breathed a sigh of relief.
After all, Finn was the young master of the Norwood Family, and Sloane, being perceptive, knew Finn was doing it for Selena’s sake.
Finn led them towards Artisan Hall.
On the way, Selena asked Finn, "Where’s Phoebe? Why don’t I see her..."
"Oh, she went abroad to hang out with Ivy during the summer vacation and hasn’t come back. She even took a week’s leave."
Finn shrugged.
Selena was momentarily speechless.
After Ivy got married, she settled abroad, so it’s not surprising that Phoebe, being her best friend, went to visit her.
As they walked and walked, they arrived at Artisan Hall.
Artisan Hall is specifically for students of the Academy of Arts and the Athletics Academy.
Finn led them to Building One, Area A. Sloane showed the dorm supervisor the form she had in her hand.
The supervisor then handed her the key to the dorm.
Finn carried the luggage, walking behind Selena and Sloane.
Sloane’s dorm wasn’t on a high floor and was conveniently close to the stairs.
Sloane initially wanted to use the key to open the door but found it was already slightly ajar.
"...Someone is already here..."
Sloane said with a hint of confusion.
She opened the door and found that indeed someone was already there.
It was a girl with a ponytail, putting her bedding in order by herself.
The girl quickly turned around upon hearing the door open.
Only then did Sloane get to see her face.
Her face was, at most, fair-looking, slightly sallow, but Sloane liked her eyes very much.
Clean, simple.
She wore clothes that weren’t the best, at most generic brand sportswear.
Seeing the well-dressed group of Sloane, she looked a little at a loss and cautious.
"H-hello."
Her hands were placed in front of her, fingers fidgeting with each other.
Shoulders slightly hunched.
Selena could see that this girl carried a sense of inferiority deep down.
Sloane smiled a bit, stepped forward, and took the girl’s hand.
"Hi, I’m Sloane Hawthorne, your roommate."
The girl’s eyes widened suddenly, disbelief written all over her face, "You’re Sloane Hawthorne? The one who played Faith Fuller!..."
Sloane nodded with a smile.
She opened her mouth in disbelief, then realized this wasn’t appropriate and quickly covered her mouth with one hand.
She then looked towards Sloane’s back, "Then... that pretty sister is... Selena Kensington?"
Selena met her eyes and nodded slightly.
The girl became excited and tongue-tied, "H-hi, I’m Tiana Cheney..."
From Tiana’s nervous introduction, they learned she came from a distant frontier city.
According to her, she earned a scholarship from an award set up by Aethelgard Media University there, allowing her to come without paying tuition and other fees.
Due to information and economic backwardness, coupled with poor family conditions.
Even though "Immortal Path" was popular, she didn’t recognize Sloane and Selena immediately.
Sloane quickly became familiar with her new roommate.
Because Sloane had once lived in the slums, she quite liked Tiana’s demeanor.
Clean, simple, not yet touched by material desires.
Moreover, Tiana had strong manual skills; she had already cleaned the entire dorm before Sloane arrived.
Selena didn’t interrupt Sloane and her new roommate bonding. After instructing her a few words, she left Sloane to stay with Tiana.
She and Finn left the dorm.
"All right, no need to see me off."
After reaching nearly to the parking lot, Selena stopped Finn.
"Help me take care of Sloane."
Vivian Sutton and Clement Luther were both seniors, and surely didn’t have the time.
As Finn just entered his second year and was a member of the student council, Selena felt assured with him.
"Don’t worry, sister-in-law, I’ll have her back, no one will dare bully her as long as I’m here!"
Finn vowed earnestly.
"Alright, why do you still have that campus bully vibe..."
Selena couldn’t help but laugh.
"I’m originally a campus bully..."
Finn muttered, which Selena overheard.
She thought Finn’s experiences might compile into "The Years I Got Reformed as a Campus Bully."
After parting with Finn, Selena was ready to head back.
Just as she got in the car and fastened her seatbelt, Hugh Kensington called.
"Hugh, what’s up."
Selena answered the call.
"Sis, Lynn has already arrived in Aethelgard."
Selena was surprised, she came quite quickly.
"Alright, I’ll head to the company now."
After saying that, Selena placed her phone aside and started the car.

Upon arriving at the company, Hugh informed her that Lynn was waiting in the reception room. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"She seems a bit aloof, hard to get along with, be careful," Hugh reminded her before entering.
Selena nodded.
Then pushed the door to the reception room open.
Inside sat a woman with hair reaching her waist.
Her long black hair cascaded smoothly down her back.
She was dressed in a black dress with a windbreaker draped over her shoulders, adorned with a pattern of a white crane flying through clouds.
Hearing the sound of the door, Lynn turned around.
