Chapter 155: Chapter 155: Filming in Progress

Selena Kensington wasn’t really skilled at acting, but with a mother who was an award-winning actress, she became highly attuned to an actor’s expressions through her exposure to Julian Jennings.

"Cut, pass!"

Another scene was finished, and Selena walked over to help the two adjust their state.

"In the next scene, the cultivator appears. Vivian, you need to portray Lily as young yet mentally mature."

"Hugh, at this point, Zane is mischievous and innocent, and he loves excitement, don’t forget that."

"In that last scene, you almost couldn’t hold it together, could you!"

Selena gave Hugh a gentle knock!

Earlier, Selena had stopped the scene twice before letting the two pass.

Hugh rubbed his head slightly. "My bad, sis."

Selena waved her hand, letting him off the hook.

After all, Hugh hadn’t specifically studied acting, and being able to perform like this in his first transition relied heavily on his innate talent and what he learned before.

The film set resumed work.

Zane and Lily were chased to the edge of a steep cliff.

The group pursuing them pressed relentlessly, and Zane shielded Lily behind him, retreating step by step.

"...ah!"

Lily suddenly exclaimed!

Zane’s heart tightened. "Lian!"

It turned out that Lily had already backed up to the edge of the cliff, but the falling rocks caused her to almost fall.

It was Zane who desperately held on to her.

In front of them, the killers pursued tirelessly, while behind them was a bottomless abyss.

Lily knew she might fall here.

She looked at Zane and suddenly smiled softly and easily. "Zane, you must go to The Immortal Sects!"

With that, she suddenly twisted free from Zane’s tight grip.

And leaped off.

"Lian!!!!"

The young Zane’s eyes were red, his screams tearing at his throat.

He watched Lily fall off the cliff, smiling softly and decisively.

This scene took Selena at least five NGs before getting a satisfactory shot.

"Pass!"

After Selena announced, Hugh and Vivian let out a collective breath, leaning against each other in defeat.

The two exchanged a glance, joy and excitement flashing in their eyes.

They finally passed.

"Great job, take a break and get ready for lunch,"

Selena said to the people beside her, then let them go to make arrangements.

She walked over.

"Are you okay?"

Selena helped Hugh up.

While Sloane Hawthorne helped Vivian up.

Vivian waved her hand. "I feel like I’ll need a few months’ rest after filming this."

Selena poured a lot of effort into this series, so she was especially strict.

Even the extras had high standards, but because of the salary five times higher than usual, many extras were still attracted to participate.

Selena chuckled lightly.

"Go change clothes, prepare for lunch."

"Uh-huh."

Hugh and Vivian were helped to the dressing room by their respective assistants.

Selena looked at Sloane standing to the side, noticing the notebook in her hand filled with scribbled notes, and raised an eyebrow slightly.

"What did you gather this morning?"

Asked, Sloane was stunned for a moment, then seriously thought for a minute before answering, "Hugh and Vivian are both working hard to immerse themselves in their roles..."

"More importantly, they can switch their emotions at will."

Sloane felt a bit troubled at this point; though she had talent, it was hard for her to switch emotions as effortlessly as they did.

Every time she finished acting out a scene, she had to stand still for a while before she could react.

As Selena walked, she said to her, "Do you know why a good actor can perform in dozens of scenes?"

"Why?"

"Because they never get lost in their roles or lose themselves to a character,"

commented Selena.
