Cool! I can’t wait to find out what your new features are going to be.

With each software update, ChatJK6 would gain something that was completely based on the information she absorbed during the update.

The catalyst for her unexpected level up was due to one reason: the Nascent Spirit core.

After she absorbed the core of a dead Nascent Spirit cultivator, she suddenly had enough information to form her new update. So, it’s not far-fetched to think that her update had something to do with the Nascent Spirit realm.

And it looked like he wasn’t that far off.

This was actually exactly what Michael needed. He’d only been stuck in the 9th stage of the Body Formation realm for less than a month at this point, but he already felt himself getting stuck.

That was probably because he didn’t know what it took to go from the peak of the 9th stage to the Nascent Spirit realm.

He wanted to ask Katarina, but she was very hard to talk to right now. In fact, it’s been a long time since she’d shown up in New Sparta, making him think that something big was happening in the Consortium.

But he didn’t want to worry about that.

Now, it seemed that ChatJK6 reverse-engineered the pathway to become a Nascent Spirit.

Okay, give it to me. How can I transcend to the next realm?

Michael wanted to slap his own forehead. What the hell?! I thought you knew the path to become a Nascent Spirit Maugnetic?!

The realms of Diva Formation were like islands. Right now, Michael was on the starter island, with the next island visible in the far horizon.

ChatJK6 happened upon a map of the next island, but not necessarily the map to the bridge that allowed one to travel there.

Harbinger’s voice echoed out of his mind.

Michael closed his eyes, finding himself in the void of his mind. Here in the darkness, he came face to face with his own Diva. Harbinger’s towering figure made him feel like he was looking upon a being that could destroy an entire planet with a single swing.

You’re... incomplete.

He was now in the 9th stage of the Body Formation realm. Theoretically, Harbinger’s entire head should have shown itself already.

With each level, Harbinger’s body slowly revealed. But even as he reached the peak of the Body Formation realm, the robotic head atop this giant mecha was still missing.

[That’s right. It is missing. Want to know why?]

Michael frowned. There was only one possibility for this.

It’s not the peak.

Even with his head not visible, Michael saw Harbinger smile. [That’s right. The reason why your AI assistant couldn’t decipher the path to becoming a Nascent Spirit is because we are different from the others. We are unique. We are inimitable.]

Michael looked up at Harbinger.

As far as he knew, Nascent Spirit cultivators were different from Body Formation Maugnetics in one specific thing: they could manifest their Diva in reality.

Katarina called it her Armor. A Diva Armor. It was when a Maugnetic summoned their Diva in reality, one that was not simply an image in the air, but one that could interact with the physical world.

This couldn’t be achieved easily. No matter how much GodForge pieces one put into their heart, they couldn’t force their Diva to manifest in reality as an armor. This meant that a Maugnetic had to experience something that would cause that qualitative change in a Diva.

How can I do that?

Thankfully, unlike other Maugnetics, his Diva could actually speak. While others went through their cultivation deaf to their own Diva’s needs, Harbinger could simply tell Michael the answer.

[It’s very easy. All you have to do is to accept your future.]

Michael was dumbfounded with that abstract answer. That’s it?

He thought he’d need to go through some kind of tribulation or test just like the cultivators in those fantasies.

But instead, all he needed to do was accept his future.

Michael put his head down as he thought deeply. Then, he raised his head, as if realizing something.

The vision. That white sun told me to follow some kind of instruction.

The problem was... the white sun didn’t tell him anything! Their words were even more abstract than Harbinger’s advice. It was incomplete and had a lot of missing words. He couldn’t interpret its words because there was nothing to interpret.

I don’t want to hear it, Harbinger! You’re not helping.

Michael decided to let it be for the time being. As of right now, there was no urgent need for him to transcend to the Nascent Spirit realm.

He looked down at his belt. Underneath his shirt, a holstered gun was still sitting with all six of its bullets remaining in its chamber.

And on his chest was a talisman that was stronger than any of his defenses.

This was enough. For now. And if he needed more, then he could easily purchase more from the Emporium. With the staggering amount of money he was making, as well as the amount of discounts and coupons he gained with each passing day, he could practically be fine for the time being.

This would give him all the time he needed to slowly decipher the supposed instructions he needed to follow, whatever that was.

So, with everything done, he exited out of his room to take in the warm, comforting heat of the sun.

Except... When he looked up at the skies, he saw nothing but darkness. The sun was dark, with only its outlines showing brightness.

This was an eclipse!

Now, this wouldn’t be that weird all on its own. However, the darkness of the sun made way for the stars and the heavenly bodies in outer space visible in the skies.

And right beside the eclipsing sun, Michael saw an explosion of colors, as if he was staring at another galaxy that was just about to give birth to another.

Michael’s eyes widened. He saw this before.

Back when his soul was yanked out of his body, and he travelled from the world all the way to the end of the universe, he saw this exact scene pass him by!

This was definitely no coincidence.

Could Harbinger be right? Could this be the instructions that the white sun was giving him? Was this the secret for him to finally transcend to the Nascent Spirit realm?

Michael’s head was spinning with all these abstract words being thrown at him. Thankfully, ChatJK6 seemed to have sensed his confusion.
