Reborn As Noble-Chapter 497: Love, Threats, and Illusions ( )
Chapter 497: Love, Threats, and Illusions ( 497 )
“Maybe…”
Liana said softly, her voice smooth and gentle.
She smiled down at Javier, who was still helplessly trapped beneath her.
“Maybe we should cut his balls~”
Javier’s eyes went wide with pure horror.
“HIEEEEKK!!!” he squeaked.
Gloria smiled gracefully, her voice as soft as a spring breeze.
“Ara~ but if we do that, wouldn’t it cause trouble?”
She tapped her chin thoughtfully.
“After all, how would we get adorable little heirs from him~?”
Gloria asked sweetly.
Liana nodded seriously, still smiling.
“You’re right, Second Wife.”
She gently patted Javier’s trapped leg.
“Hmmm… maybe we should cut them after we’ve secured a few heirs first.”
Javier was screaming inside.
No! No! NO!!
What kind of nightmare conversation is this?!
“Liana? Gloria?”
Javier called out softly.
Both of them, still happily talking about future heirs, tilted their heads slightly.
“Hm?”
And in that moment—
Javier moved.
It was casual, almost lazy.
But with effortless ease, he freed himself from Liana’s ankle lock—simply shifting his strength, clearly showing how much more powerful he was.
Before either of them could react, Javier stood up smoothly.
Then—
Without hesitation, he pulled Liana into a tight hug, holding her gently in his arms.
“I missed you,”
he whispered quietly.
Liana blinked, surprised.
Her body stiffened for a moment, but then she slowly relaxed in his embrace.
Gloria watched quietly, her hands gently releasing Mimi and Delya, a small, warm smile forming on her lips.
As Javier held Liana close, a gentle warmth spread between them.
But before he could say anything else—
Gloria suddenly rushed forward, her steps light but filled with longing. She quickly hugged Javier, wrapping her arms around him tightly.
“Young Master…”
she whispered softly, her voice trembling just a little.
Liana, still in his arms, looked up at him with her calm and beautiful eyes.
Without hesitation—
She leaned up and gently cupped Javier’s cheek.
And then—
She kissed him.
It wasn’t a quick peck.
It was a deep, lingering kiss filled with all the feelings she had been holding back.
Javier’s eyes widened slightly, but he closed them a moment later, returning her kiss with just as much tenderness.
When Liana pulled back, her face was a little flushed, and her breathing was faint.
Before Javier could even recover —
Gloria leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on his lips.
Gentle.
Warm.
Full of quiet devotion.
Javier’s heart sped up as he felt both of them so close, so real, so precious.
After a long moment, Javier gently pulled back, still keeping his hands on their shoulders.
He smiled warmly at them.
“Have you finished your training?” he asked softly.
Both Liana and Gloria immediately pouted like sulking children.
“Not yet…”
Liana mumbled.
“Level 78 is hard… too hard!”
Gloria added, puffing her cheeks.
Javier chuckled softly.
They both looked genuinely frustrated, like students complaining after a long exam.
“Mrs. Erinette said…”
Liana said with a bit of annoyance,
“We can only join you after we pass Level 99. And it’s better if we clear the Special Zone too.”
Gloria nodded seriously.
“If we don’t, we’re not allowed to step outside.”
Seeing their frustrated faces, Javier couldn’t help but smile.
He reached out and hugged them both again—this time pulling them close into his chest, wrapping his arms around them completely.
Liana and Gloria, pressed against him, stiffened for just a moment—
Then they relaxed fully, melting into his warmth.
“Nya! Dirty!”
Mimi suddenly yelled, her face burning red.
Without thinking, she rushed forward, aiming to hug Javier too.
But—
Gloria, still calmly holding Javier from the front, simply raised one hand behind her without even looking—
and caught Mimi’s head effortlessly, holding her in place like she was stopping a naughty kitten.
“Ara~ not yet, little stray~”
Gloria said sweetly, not even turning around.
Mimi struggled, flailing her arms helplessly.
“Nyaaaa!!! Let me go!!”
Meanwhile—
Delya, not wanting to be left out, activated her magic skill.
A soft flash of dark mana surrounded her.
In the blink of an eye—
Seven Delyas appeared, surrounding Javier.
All of them wore the same mischievous smile.
“Danna-sama~ Prepare yourself~”
they said together.
And then—
All seven Delyas rushed forward, trying to hug Javier from every direction!
Javier’s face turned pale.
“Oi!! Stop!! Time out!!!”
Before the seven Delyas could even touch Javier—
Liana moved.
Swift.
Precise.
Dangerous.
Without changing her calm expression, she drew her twin short blades, the silver gleaming in the sunlight.
In a smooth motion—
She cut through the six illusionary Delyas, slicing them apart effortlessly.
Each fake Delya vanished into smoke the moment her blades touched them, disappearing silently.
In less than a heartbeat—
Only the real Delya was left, frozen in place, eyes wide, arms still reaching out to pounce.
Liana’s blade hovered just a few centimeters from Delya’s neck, stopping perfectly without even nicking her.
Javier blinked in surprise.
Even Gloria, still holding Mimi’s head, smiled approvingly.
“Ara~ as expected from the First Wife.”
Delya trembled slightly, carefully lowering her arms.
“Umm… mercy…?” she squeaked.
Liana slowly took back her blade, giving her a small, polite smile — a smile that somehow felt scarier than any threat.
After calmly sheathing her twin blades, Liana turned her sharp gaze toward Delya and Mimi.
Still standing protectively close to Javier, she spoke softly but with unmistakable firmness.
“You two have already had your time with him,” Liana said, her voice smooth as ice.
Her words hit straight to the point.
“Even if I haven’t approved you to become his third wife yet.”
She smiled gently, but her eyes remained calm and serious.
“Don’t you dare disturb my time.”
Mimi froze, her ears flattening tightly against her head.
Delya, sensing the danger, took a cautious step back.
Liana kept her tone steady and unwavering.
“You should wait for your turn.”
Gloria, still smiling sweetly while holding Mimi lightly by the collar, nodded in agreement.
“Ara~ patience is a virtue, little kittens~,” she teased.
Javier, caught between both Liana and Gloria, felt a cold chill run down his spine.
Somehow, he knew—
No matter how strong he became—
He would never win against these two.
