Chapter 1147  Wanna Bet

Kana did not know how she felt. Lately, she seemed to be running into many look alikes. "You are not gonna try to eat me and take over my identity, are you?"

"Haha! No!" The Kana look alike replied. "I wouldn't be able to do that even if I wanted to. I am only a projection of my former self. Although I did tweak my appearance to make me look like you. I have to admit my new reincarnation is much cuter than my past! Ah…. It is really a shame."

Kana proudly held her head up high. Of course, she was the cutest! She was a dragon! "So, what did you want to speak to me about?"

"The trials that you will undergo are all geared towards you. They are to see if you are ready for what is to come. I have already scanned all your memories into the system I built, and it will base all the trials on your memories. That is until you reach the last few trials, which will test your ability to survive in the future. The last thing I want is for you to go to where we first started and die before even getting a chance to do anything. Although from what I can see, there should be no problem, memories, and actual fact are two different things. All the hardships and pain you have suffered through to reach this point and the family that has allowed you to keep yourself together, all of it. It is what allows you to be the you of today." The Kana look alike replied.

"I see. So I will still need to do the trials." Kana was a bit disappointed she was hoping for a free pass.

"Don't look so down. I can I have already reduced the number of trials you need to undergo. You will need to do ten trials, including the two you have already passed. But be warned, the power of the realm you are going to is strong. Stronger than anything you could ever imagine. Your family will also undergo many trials and tribulations that they will need to pass. They may even die." The Kana look alike knew more than anyone that even those closest to you could turn their backs on you.

Kana looked at the look alike and felt something was off. "How did you die?"

"I…. Just do not trust Landel. You have a husband who loves you dearly. Do not let Landel's sweet words confuse you. I can only say this because even I am not one hundred percent sure." The Kana look alike lowered her eyes. She wished she knew for sure.

"I will find out. Once I am strong enough to stand on my own, once I am more powerful than Landel, I will look into it and find out. If he is really the cause, I will get revenge." Kana would make sure to avenge the previous her. Although they were considered the same person, at the same time, they were not. Kana was Kana. While the woman in front of her was herself. But this did not mean she would not help her past life get revenge.

"I thank you. But if it is too dangerous, do not worry. The dead are dead. You are you, and I am me. We might be the same soul but we lived different lives. So there is no need to put yourself in the line danger. Live your life." The Kana look alike felt it was good enough that Kana was willing to even offer. The saying: It is the thought that counts, was very true.

"I will be careful." Kana smiled. "I will be sure to watch over your babies as well. After all, I already took them in."

"Haha. You are just like me. Luckily, you got to have a bigger family. After Nia and Tia, I failed to have more. Those girls are kind. However, Tia is a bit strange. She is very shy. But I feel with you around, they will be happy once more." The Kana look alike smile turned brighter when she talked about her daughters.

"I will make sure they are always safe," Kana replied.

"Then I will end this meeting here. Your next challenge will begin soon. Take some time to rest and then head through the door at the side. I wish you luck." The Kana look alike's body faded, leaving only Kana left in the room.

Kana stared off into space before taking a deep breath. She wondered just what was in store for her. "Well, since I am on break, I will eat some meat!"

Back in Aurora, a certain maid was having issues. "Why!? Why did she not love me!?"

"Ummm… Nancy, we told you from the first day we met that she did not love you like you thought she did. So please get down from the wall. It's scary. Your heads even bent in a strange direction." One of the other maids from the world Kana went to, replied. The other maid was too busy laughing to speak.

"You weren't joking with me!?" Nancy stared at the maid in confusion. She thought they were just messing with her! If she had known it was the truth, she would not have been waiting all this time! She slowly got down off the wall and pursed her lips. "Where is Miss Francessca?"

"She went to Eden with the others. She is helping out there. She said she will be back in a few days." The other maid answered.

"Okay, I need to make plans!" Nancy quickly changed her love target. Love seemed to be a fickle thing when it came to Nancy. But

one thing was for sure. Nancy was at least loyal toward the one she loved at that moment.

The two maids watched as Nancy ran off and sighed. "I wonder if Miss Francessca will actually take that girl as her wife?"

The other maid smiled and slid up next to her friend, and asked: "Wanna bet?"
