Chapter 91: Skeletons of Dragons: Saving the Dragons (9)

"Don’t you know who I am?"

"I am Optimus Draconic Prime."

Drakion’s mechanical voice echoed across the battlefield.

"Uh, Optimus Draconic Prime?"

"What kind of name is that?"

"Is that what the dragon is called?"

The onlookers began to murmur when they heard Drakion’s words. They found it surprising, as they hadn’t heard such words before. They began to murmur the name repeatedly, and slowly... they started to find it cool.

"You better shut your mouth. You just stole that name and added Draconic to it," Drax snorted.

"Who would know? No one here is from Earth," Drakion giggled.

"But anyway, it’s all done," Drakion said, looking at the dragons that lay unconscious. Drax had told him that knocking them out would eventually wake them.

Drax nodded at him, but before they could speak again—

ROAR!

A loud, draconic roar echoed, shocking Drakion and the onlookers. They turned toward the pile of dragon skeletons, only to see Kaidros rising from the bones.

"That didn’t knock him unconscious..." Drakion was stunned as he saw Kaidros’ silver eyes turn red. He could tell—Kaidros was now planning to fight to the death.

Suddenly, Kaidros let out another roar. In the next moment, his sword horn detached from his head.

"Jesus Christ, Drax! How can the sword horn detach?!" Drakion cried out telepathically.

"You’re asking me? This is the first time I’m seeing a dragon like the Sword Dragon or Scythe Dragon! You just brought such a bloodline into the world, and now you’re asking me what it’s doing? How do you expect me to know?" Drax snapped.

"But thinking about it," Drax continued, "the Blade Dragon Bloodline might be related to the Mechanical Dragon Bloodline. Their bodies are formed based on weapons—and weapons are forged from metal."

"So are you telling me... he’s entering some kind of Weaponized Form?" Drakion’s jaw almost dropped—even Optimus Prime couldn’t hide his shock.

"It seems so," Drax sighed.

As the sword horn hovered in the air, Kaidros stood—his legs shifting, reshaping into the form of gigantic humanoid limbs. His front legs took the shape of arms, and Kaidros now stood tall, like a monstrous Godzilla, his tail sharpening into a gleaming blade.

ROAR!

In the next instant, Kaidros stretched out his draconic hands and grasped the detached sword. Before the onlookers could comprehend what was happening, Kaidros vanished—reappearing in front of Drakion, unleashing a devastating Sword Breath that shocked everyone watching.

Drakion was ready. His arms morphed into mechanical shields, but the Sword Breath sliced through them, peeling them away, leaving him exposed. Kaidros struck—his leg shooting forward in a brutal kick that sent Drakion flying.

Drakion crashed into a heap of bones, groaning. "Why is his strength so insane now?!" he cried out to Drax.

"His Weaponized Form is a sword. That makes him able to wield the Sword Law effortlessly," Drax replied, his tone grim.

"And from the looks of things... you can’t fight him with just one bloodline," Drax added.

"Let’s see about that," Drakion muttered.

He began to heal—but it was taking longer than before.

Once his hand regenerated, Drakion transformed into his truck form, his engine roaring to life as he charged toward Kaidros.

Kaidros struck the ground repeatedly as Drakion narrowly dodged, weaving between blows. As he got close, Drakion transformed back into Optimus Prime and landed a punch on Kaidros’ draconic back.

CLANG!

Drakion reeled. It felt like punching solid metal. He froze, stunned by the resistance. Before he could recover, Kaidros grabbed him, lifting Drakion upside-down.

In one swift motion, Kaidros hurled Drakion to the ground.

Drakion’s robotic head slammed into the earth, making the world spin. His vision blurred—half his head nearly destroyed from the brutal impact.

When Drakion felt the impact as he stood up, he began to stagger—but Kaidros raised his sword and slashed toward Drakion’s robotic chest. He was sent flying, mechanical parts ripping from his frame, scattering midair. Drakion crashed into the ground, carving a deep crater where he landed.

He grimaced in pain. Even with his pain resistance, it still hurt—excruciatingly so—to have his mechanical parts torn out like that.

"Draconic Art: Draconic Regeneration!"

But Drakion’s eyes widened in shock—his mechanical injuries were healing at a snail’s pace.

"The Sword Law is slowing down your regeneration," Drax’s voice echoed grimly. "Aren’t you going to enter your Mecha Form?"

Drakion didn’t waste a second.

Ding!

[Entering the Mecha Form]

In the next moment, Drakion began to break down and reassemble, his body shifting, transforming back into his full Draconic form. Then, he let out a deep, bone-rattling draconic roar.

Slowly, he stood. His back legs shifted into humanoid legs, his front legs into armored hands. His draconic head rose upright, straight like a human’s.

Now, Drakion looked eerily similar... to Kaidros himself.

"I knew I was right," Drax chuckled as he watched Drakion’s evolving form.

The sound of an engine roaring to life echoed ominously, and Drakion’s golden optic eyes shone—burning with light.

Drakion was still reeling from the shock—his injuries weren’t healing. The next moment, he charged toward Kaidros, each thunderous step causing the ground to quake beneath him.

"Devouring Dragon Art: Ruinous Tail Sweep!"

The mechanical whir of engines echoed ominously as Drakion’s mechanical draconic tail began to spin, transforming into a massive drill. He twisted his body, and the spinning tail lashed out toward Kaidros.

Kaidros raised his sword and clashed against the spinning tails, halting the momentum. Sparks exploded on impact, and the drill-tails fizzled, losing their energy.

But Drakion didn’t falter.

"Ice-Fire Dragon Art: Ice-Fire Breath!"

His robotic mouth opened wide, releasing a beam of icy flame, a fusion of chilling frost and burning heat. Kaidros responded instantly, unleashing his own breath, the two forces colliding mid-air in a blinding stalemate.

"Use your Blade Dragon Bloodline. There should be some changes," Drax’s voice echoed through his mind.

Ding!

[Activating Blade Dragon Bloodline]

[Detecting similarity between both bloodlines. Due to temporary access to the Mechanic Dragon Bloodline, Host can only strike once using both bloodlines.]

Suddenly, a dense mist erupted from Drakion’s mechanical form, veiling him in ghostly concealment. Kaidros was unfazed, charging into the fog, sword poised to strike.

As his blade pierced the mist, the hearts of every dragon in the arena beat faster. Lizzy and Finn were already flying toward Drakion, but they were too slow.

CLANG!

Gasps erupted as a mechanical hand shot out of the mist, fingers sharpened into gleaming scythes, stopping Kaidros mid-strike.

The fog dissipated, revealing Drakion’s transformed form. His horns had curved into deadly scythes, each finger a blade, his tail a weapon, his entire body cloaked in creamy black armor, sleek and menacing.

Even his teeth had transformed into serrated scythes, and his scales bore razor-edge patterns—everything about him screamed death incarnate.

In an instant, Drakion’s other hand surged forward, delivering an uppercut that launched Kaidros skyward.

Drakion’s tail detached, morphing into a massive creamy-black scythe, pulsing with power.

Kaidros roared and stood once more, his body trembling as he raised his sword, charging again.

Drakion knew—he had only one shot.

He channeled everything into his scythe. Suddenly, his robotic body radiated a chilling death aura, flooding the battlefield.

ROAR!

"Kaidros Vorr, as your Dragon Emperor, I hereby judge you." His voice, distorted and metallic, couldn’t reach the crowd—but it echoed within the clash.

"Death Art: Death Crescent Slash!"

A massive black crescent moon materialized behind Drakion, merging into the scythe in his hands, now pitch black and brimming with death.

Drakion swung.

It wasn’t just an attack—it was a sentence.

He aimed to sever the strange power tethered to Kaidros’ soul. Kaidros brought his sword down in retaliation—but Drakion’s Scythe Intent rendered the blade useless.

The sword passed through the scythe like smoke, unable to wound it.

The scythe, unstoppable, sliced through Kaidros—not with pain, but with purpose.

There was no blood. No scream.

Yet something had been cut.

Kaidros collapsed, unconscious, his body reverting to its Sword Dragon form.
