Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 804: She Has Parents, a Grandmother, a Younger Brother, and a Husband
She was never alone, nor was it just him.
She had her parents, her grandmother, a younger brother, and a husband...
Thinking of her husband, Mason Bennett’s eyes flickered.
He regretted agreeing earlier that they should wait until her birthday and the legal age.
He should have brought her home long ago.
Bella Green didn’t know how long she had been crying before she hiccupped and leaned tiredly into Bellamy Homes’ arms, her body still trembling slightly, evoking pity.
Bellamy Homes sighed and gently stroked her hair.
"Had enough crying?"
The unique tone of gentleness made Bella Green’s cheeks flush, and she wouldn’t raise her head from Bellamy Homes’ embrace.
She felt embarrassed...
This little demeanor made Bellamy Homes and the old Mrs. Bennett burst into laughter. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
"Sister-in-law, you’ve finished crying, so what do you want to eat?"
As soon as Victor Bennett spoke, Bellamy Homes and the old lady both looked at him and spoke in unison.
"Why are you still here?"
The tone and the question left Victor Bennett momentarily dumbfounded.
If he wasn’t here, where would he be?
Old Mrs. Bennett looked at him with disdain: "Knowing your sister-in-law is hungry and you’re still here, hurry up and buy some porridge."
Victor Bennett widened his eyes, what’s going on?
Even though there’s a sister-in-law, he’s still the biological one, right? That’s not fair.
Isn’t he also in need of love and care like a budding flower? So frustrating!
Seeing Victor Bennett so upset yet unable to speak, Bella Green couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing.
Her laughter made Victor Bennett freeze again, and he suddenly felt a bit embarrassed and annoyed.
But looking at Bella Green’s demeanor, he didn’t dare lose his temper and could only gaze at her with a face full of depression and grievance, like a little wife.
Bella Green found Victor Bennett’s demeanor quite amusing.
She didn’t dislike Victor Bennett, but she couldn’t say she really liked his intelligence either.
But unexpectedly, even this silly guy had such an adorable side.
"I’ll have your brother order takeout. There’s a hotel nearby with good porridge," Bella Green said, looking at Bellamy Homes and the old lady: "I’m fine, it’s too late, Grandma, you should go home and rest."
Bella Green said this with a face full of guilt and self-blame.
It was already past ten o’clock, which was still early for young people.
But for someone of old Mrs. Bennett’s age, she usually went to bed by eight.
Yet she came to the hospital for her sake, kept herself up so late and cried too.
Thinking about it made Bella Green uncomfortable.
"It’s okay, dear, the older you get, the less sleep you need. I’m feeling quite energetic now," said the old Mrs. Bennett.
Bella Green sighed with helplessness; she could tell the old lady’s face was drawn with exhaustion, holding it together just for her.
"But it still won’t do. The older you get, the more you should rest well, sleep early, and get up early, okay?"
The slightly educative tone made the old lady chuckle heartily.
"Okay, okay, I’ll listen to you, Bella. Mason, go ask the doctor about Bella’s condition, will you? If there’s no need for an IV, let’s go home. It’s more comfortable and caring at home than here."
Mrs. Bennett remarked.
After all, Bella Green wasn’t hurt; it was a matter of emotions. Since that was the case, there was no need for hospitalization.
I heard Francesca Willis is also at this hospital; that alone would make the mood worse, better to go home.
Mason Bennett felt the same. He had already checked with the doctor and, without asking further, decided they’d go home together.
Watching Mason Bennett busy himself putting shoes and an overcoat on Bella Green made her cheeks flush with embarrassment.
But the two women of the Bennett family couldn’t help but chuckle.
