Chapter 472: Chapter 472: You must have often used such despicable methods to bully others.

Yunyi woke up again to the sound of a child’s crying.

Huo Jingrui stood up when he heard the movement from the top bunk. "Awake? Hungry?"

Yunyi hummed vaguely. She didn’t get up immediately, instead asking, "What time is it?" 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Huo Jingrui reached out and brushed her hair aside. "It’s almost seven."

Yunyi said in a sweet, wheedling tone, "I’ll get up and wash now. You go buy breakfast."

Huo Jingrui’s face softened. "Alright."

Hearing their conversation, the woman in the middle bunk across from them looked over, a hint of envy flashing in her eyes.

Yunyi felt the gaze from across the aisle and looked up.

Their eyes met. The woman smiled at Yunyi and nodded.

Yunyi returned the smile and nodded too, acknowledging the greeting.

Yunyi went to wash up. By the time she had finished, Huo Jingrui was back. He had bought millet porridge, boiled eggs, steamed buns, a serving of soy-braised beef, and a portion of pickled vegetables. "Try these and see if you like them," he said. "When we get back to the Capital, I’ll take you out for some really delicious food."

Actually, there was plenty of delicious food in her space, but Huo Jingrui had warned Yunyi before they boarded the train not to risk revealing it. After all, the train was crowded, and prying eyes were everywhere.

Just as Huo Jingrui finished speaking, a woman’s voice came from the upper bunk. "So much good food, and you’re still asking if it suits her taste? Such typical capitalist airs."

At these words, not only Yunyi and Huo Jingrui, who were about to eat breakfast, but also the girl in the middle bunk across from them turned to look at the woman on the upper bunk. Their expressions shifted.

Seeing everyone looking at her, the woman scoffed. "What are you looking at? Am I wrong?"

Huo Jingrui’s face turned cold. Just as he was about to speak, Yunyi stopped him. "Leave this to me."

Yunyi was in no mood for appeasement. She despised people who were clearly dying of envy yet tried to put others down with baseless accusations.

Yunyi stood up and yanked the woman straight down from the upper bunk. With a cry of "AH!" the woman landed on the floor. "What are you doing?" she shrieked.

Yunyi looked down at her. "You must use these kinds of low-class tactics to bully people all the time, don’t you?"

The woman opened her mouth to curse, but before she could utter a sound, Yunyi pressed an acupoint that rendered her mute. "What, still want to curse?" Yunyi said. "I don’t know if anyone has dared to stand up to you before, but you’ve crossed me today and ruined our appetite. Naturally, I have to pay you back in kind."

When the woman realized she couldn’t speak, her face changed in panic. After a series of strangled "AH, AH, AH" sounds, she stared at Yunyi in horror.

She frantically waved her hands and gestured with bows, her meaning perfectly clear.

The girl in the middle bunk across watched, dumbfounded. Her eyes shone as she covertly gave Yunyi a thumbs-up.

Seeing Yunyi ignore her, the woman tried to get up to seek help.

Yunyi casually took a soybean from her space and flicked it into the hollow of the woman’s knee. The woman staggered, nearly falling, and then froze, too frightened to take another step. She was terrified of what this devilish Yunyi might do to her next.

Seeing the woman remain motionless in that position, Yunyi took the damp towel Huo Jingrui handed her, wiped her hands, and then calmly sat down to eat her breakfast.

Watching Yunyi eat so calmly and composedly filled the girl in the middle bunk with even greater admiration. If they hadn’t been strangers, the girl would have eagerly become sworn sisters with Yunyi on the spot—she absolutely adored her personality.
