Chapter 844: Chapter 844: At My Disposal

They say a man’s honor is beneath his knees. Jiang Xue never expected Wang Jun to kneel before her. She thought he would be like the others, either leaving or deeming her insignificant.

"Is it Wang Jun?" Jiang Xue looked at Wang Jun and said lightly, "Considering your sincerity, I can help you, but in the future, you must work for me. As for the duration, ten years. How does that sound?"

This idea came to Jiang Xue spontaneously. She previously heard Liu Yongfa mention this person while talking about the prominent families. Wang Jun, the heir of the Wang Family, has his unique approach in business.

Coincidentally, she needed talents for her entrepreneurship, and Wang Jun was the type of talent she lacked. Therefore, she decided to help him and then bring him into her team.

"Sure, as long as you help cure my father, ten years, twenty years, even thirty years would be fine." Wang Jun was direct; he was a person who distinguishes between gratitude and grudges. He repays kindness and settles scores.

Previously, it was their fault. Now that Jiang Xue had let bygones be bygones and was willing to help, he was more than grateful. As long as she could cure his father’s illness, he was willing to serve Jiang Xue wholeheartedly.

"Good, remember your words! Stand up now! In the future, don’t kneel casually; a man’s honor is beneath his knees, and not everyone deserves such a gesture from you."

"I understand!" Wang Jun nodded and stood up. If he had any other choice, why would he kneel before Jiang Xue?

Now that she agreed to help cure his father, his kneeling was worth it.

When others saw Wang Jun kneel before Jiang Xue, they sneered one by one, thinking he disgraced their prominent family. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

It’s just a woman, even if she’s formidable, so what? They thought Wang Jun’s mind was definitely problematic, or why else would he do such embarrassing things?

It seems it’s best if they associate less with Wang Jun in the future, lest they catch whatever he has. With such thoughts, Qian Er and the others glanced at Wang Jun and left quickly.

Wang Jun looked at the now-empty corridor and shook his head inwardly. They were leaving swiftly now, but there would be times they would cry.

"Wait a moment, I’ll talk to my parents, and then we’ll go to the hospital." Jiang Xue instructed Wang Jun before heading to her parents’ house.

Standing at her parents’ doorstep, Jiang Xue was about to knock when the door opened, revealing Father Jiang’s head.

"Xue’er, are you okay?" Father Jiang asked worriedly. He had been watching just now, ready to call the police at any moment. Luckily, Jiang Xue was safe, or he would’ve rushed in to help.

"Dad, don’t worry, I’m fine!" Hearing her father’s words, Jiang Xue felt a bit guilty. She had thought her parents were asleep; now it seemed they had been watching behind the door, always attentive to outside happenings.

"As long as you’re fine, stay away from those people in the future."

"I know!" Jiang Xue nodded and then said to Father Jiang, "Dad, I need to go out for a while; could you please watch over Little Reunion for me?"

"Alright, we’ll go right over." Father Jiang replied and turned to Mrs. Jiang inside the house, "Xiuhua, I’m going next door to hold the grandson; don’t lock the door."

"Let’s go!" Jiang Xue glanced at Wang Jun and headed towards the stairway.

Downstairs, Wang Jun said to Jiang Xue, "I drove over; you can ride in my car. This way, you can rest a bit."

"Okay, but you have to drive me back later." Jiang Xue thought for a moment and nodded.
