Chen Xueyou’s eyes filled with terror. He had just managed to utter a word when Taotie opened its massive jaws and a strong suction force abruptly pulled him in, cutting off his voice.

"Great Sage, thank you for your assistance; I am finally free!"

After swallowing Chen Xueyou, Taotie, still seemingly unsatisfied, licked its lips and thanked Sun Wukong, then telepathically asked, "That guy wasn’t very filling; I’m still hungry! Great Sage, who else did you want me to swallow?"

"There, do you see that elevated platform? Those two up there, you can swallow them too! Feel free to devour anyone else here, but don’t touch that group of people over there!"

Marshal Tianpeng Zhu Tianpeng also noticed Taotie charging towards the command platform. His face instantly changed, and, grinding his teeth, he flung Zhang Wenshan toward Taotie, then turned around and rushed straight into the Jade Pool, seeking protection from the Queen Mother as this was the nearest place.

The Demonic Beast Taotie’s cultivation was indeed that of a Quasi-Saint. Although it had been sealed for so many years, its cultivation did not seem to have diminished much, maintaining its Quasi-Saint Realm.
