Reader-Chapter 197: Barlog vs High-Rank
Chapter 197: Barlog vs High-Rank Demon
– Can you log in 20 minutes earlier.?
At Yeon Jeung’s words, Soo Hyuk checked the time.
“So now?”
-Huh! Can’t you?
“It’s possible. I will log in now.”
Soo Hyuk put down his cell phone after finishing the call with Yeon Jeung.
Then he went straight into Capsule and accessed Pangea.
“‘Child of Darkness’, ‘Child of Darkness’.”
He cast ‘Child of Darkness’ while waiting for Yeon Jeung to connect. Yeon Jeung connected 20 seconds later.
“Go.”
Soo Hyuk summoned the ghost wagon and climbed into the passenger seat.
And Yeon Jeung went to the horseman’s seat and began to drive the wagon.
While Yeon Jeung was driving the wagon, Soo Hyuk took out Aaron’s Diary and started reading.
They spent the time with Yeon Jeung driving and Soo Hyuk reading and occasionally summoning the ‘Children of Darkness’.
[Acquired 108 Hearts of Death Worm]
“Yeon Jeung accept the trade.”
After checking the drop window, Soo Hyuk realized that he gathered all the hearts, then gave 50 to Yeon Jeung.
“One last ingredient left?”
Yeon Jeung asked with a smile. As a result of constantly moving and collecting ingredients, they had only 1 more ingredient to collect.
“Yeah, now we just need to get 50 Lerica’s horns and that’s it.”
“Where are they?”
Yeon Jeung asked.
“Well.”
Soo Hyuk opened the map and checked the location.
“I think we should go this way.”
“Are we going to collect these and go right away?”
“Uh, there’s a city nearby, so let’s go straight to the Warp Gate there.”
There was a city near the area where the Lericas inhabited. If there was a Warp Gate in a town, there is no way a city would not have one.
Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung were planning to go directly to Amiletta through the Warp Gate, after they collect the last ingredient.
[You have entered the Forest of Lerica.]
Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung arrived in the Forest of Lerica where they could get the last ingredient, Lerica’s horn. Of course, even though they arrived they did not stop the wagon. Yeon Jeung drove the wagons through the forest, while the ‘Children of Darkness’ began to hunt Lericas.

“Are you going to attack a city?”
Balrog Tarman frowned.
“That’s why I called you.”
Dolgen nodded.
He can attack a village alone, but not a city.
If there are one or two high-level demons when he invades alone, he will be killed.
“What are you going to do? Will you come with me?”
Dolgen asked.
Tarman could not answer right away.
‘I think it would be interesting if it was a city.’
Destroying a city will give incomparable pleasure compared to destroying a village. In addition to that, the battle with higher-level demons will also give them great pleasure.
‘But it’s too risky.’
But it was too dangerous.
“If you don’t go, I’ll call Elota.”
When Tarman did not answer, Dolgen continued.
“Why don’t we call Elota to go with us?”
Tarman, who was contemplating, asked Dolgen. What if they brought Elota? The risk would be greatly reduced.
“Okay, you coward.”
Dolgen sighed and picked up a red stone from among the stones hanging from his waist then activated it.
Then a voice came from the stone with bright light.
– What is it Dolgen?
“Warp to the coordinates I will send you.”
-Why?
“We’re going to attack a city.”
-A city?
“Yeah.”
– Send it.
___________
-Obtained 52 Lerica Horns
After reading the book for a while, Soo Hyuk checked the drop window and took out the map. Then he looked at the map and raised his hand, pointing to the right he said:
“Yeon Jeung, I think we should go this way now.”
“Did we collect them all?”
“Huh.”
After answering Yeon Jeung, Soo Hyuk gave him 25 horns.
“Tell me when we arrive at the Ekaim Plains.”
“Okay!”
At Soo Hyuk’s words, Yeon Jeung immediately drove the carriage in the direction that he mentioned.
‘What would the city look like?’
Yeon Jeung drove the wagon while letting his imagination run wild. He has been to a village, but it was his first time in a city.
How different is a city of demons, from the village he saw before?
[You have entered the Ekaim Plains.]
Driving the wagon while letting his imagination run wild. He saw the message.
“Soo Hyuk?”
“Uh.”
“We have arrived.”
“Okay.”
Soo Hyuk pulled out the map. Then gave new directions to Yeon Jeung and proceeded to read the diary again.
Yeon Jeung drove in the direction mentioned by Soo Hyuk, while his excitement grew even more because they will visit a city soon.
‘That is the city!’
Soon, a huge wall appeared.
Yeon Jeung smiled broadly. But after a while Yeon Jeung had no choice but to tilt his head.
‘What? What happened?’
Black smoke was rising from all over the city.
Yeon Jeung called Soo Hyuk.
“Soo Hyuk?”
“Huh?”
“There.”
When Soo Hyuk answered, Yeon Jeung pointed his finger at the city and blurred the end of his words.
Soo Hyuk turned his head to check out what Yeon Jeung was talking about. When he saw the black smoke, he tilted his head as well.
“What is that?”
“I don’t know, what do you think is happening?”
“Uh, well….”
Soo Hyuk stopped talking at a sudden thought.
“Maybe Balrogs?’
The city of Ebratam.
“Balrogs?”
Dehelen, a high-ranking demon who manages Ebratam asked.
“Yes, they are causing a mess at the city gate. The gates will be breached in the next 3 minutes.”
Intermediate demon Otol answered Dehelen’s question.
Suddenly the door opened, and High-Class Demon Ekelate entered.
“It’s a big deal! Balrogs at the North Gate!”
“What?”
Dehelen could not help but be surprised at Ekelate’s words.
“At the North Gate as well?”
“Yes? At the North Gate as well?”
Ekelate replied to Dehelen’s question with a question.
It was then that the intermediate demon O’Neille entered through the door.
“It’s a big deal! A Balrog appeared at the south gate! Dutar-sama is currently blocking it, but I don’t think he will last for a long time!”
Dehelton could not say anything.
‘Three?’
West Gate, North Gate, South Gate. One Barlog wouldl not be able to shuffle between the gates this fast.
‘What should I do?’
Most of the High-Class demons who were staying in Ebratam were in the city of ‘Ilom’.
“Ekelate, go to the south gate right away and help Dutar. O’Nielle tell Aruta to go to the west gate.”
There was no time to waste. Dehelen came to his senses and started giving orders.
“Ok.”
Ekelate immediately left the room.
“Otol, O’Neille.”
Dehelen called Otol and O’Neille.
“Evacuate the lower-class demons in the south and west area.”
“Then the North Gate.”
Otol asked while blurring the end of his words.
Balrogs appeared in three places: the west gate, the north gate, and the south gate.
“I will find a solution.”
At Dehelen’s words, Otol and O’Neille immediately left the room.
Then Dehelen opened the drawer, took out a crystal orb, and injected mana into it.
Light came out of the crystal orb, and after a while a voice was heard.
– What’s going on?
“Barlogs have appeared, three in total. We need Amiletta-sama’s help urgently.”
-Ugh! Okay!
Dehelton stopped flowing mana into the orb. Then he put the crystal orb back into the drawer and headed towards the north door.
“You have to hold on!”
“One more minute”
Arriving at the North Gate, Dehelen is with intermediate-class demons who are pouring all their energy into maintaining the barrier.
*Boom* *Boom*
A barrier that is constantly shaking, there were a lot of cracks on the barrier. It seems that it will be destroyed soon.
Dehelton passed right through the gates. And he was able to find the Balrog that was destroying the barrier.
‘If it is at that level, I can survive alone.’
Usually, three High-Class Demons are needed to face a Balrog.
However, the aura of the Balrog destroying the barrier was weaker than the normal, while Dehelen is on the strong side among High-Class Demons.
He cannot win, but he will be able to hold out enough until reinforcements arrive.
Dehelen immediately attacked the Balrog.
*Bam*
The Balrog, who was smashing the barrier, retreated at Dehelen’s attack.
“Khahaha! You have finally appeared!”
The Balrog laughed while looking at Dehelen.
“My name is Elota!”
“I didn’t ask.”
Deheln kicked Elota again. Unlike before, Elota did not dodge.
She raised her arm and stopped Dehelen’s feet.
*Bang*
She roared and smiled while punching. Her fists were covered in red energy.
‘I can’t block that, it’s dangerous!’
Seeing the red energy Dehelen realized that the fist cannot be blocked. He had to dodge unconditionally.
*Swish*
With a wind tearing sound, the red energy that was circling Elota’s fist escaped and struck the barrier.
*Bang*
The barrier shook violently.
‘This!’
Dehelen frowned.
He never thought that it could also be used as a ranged attack.
“If you dodge it, the barrier will be shattered, so what are you going to do?”
Elota grinned and swung her fist again. His fists glowed with red energy again.
He had to block it. In the first place he was fighting to waste time until the reinforcements arrived. That would not be possible if the barrier is destroyed.
If the barrier is broken, it can be restored. However, Elota would enter the wall and cause a massacre.
“Damn it!”
Dehelen cursed and swung his foot towards Elota’s fist.
That resulted in Elota taking two steps back while Dehelln flew back past the barrier, crashing into the gates.
‘Not good.’
Dehelen clenched his teeth and stood up. The previous collision resulted in more damage than he expected.
“Are you going to stay inside the barrier?”
Elota asked with a sly smile. Dehelen went outside the barrier as Elota raised her fists with red energy again.
The situation was not that different from before. On the contrary, it got worse for Dehelen. He flew and crashed into the wall again, but Elota took only one step back instead of two.
‘When will the reinforcements arrive.’
He started wondering if he will manage to stay alive till reinforcements arrive.
“Hey, come quickly! Or will the barrier be broken?”
Elota exclaimed, raising her fists.
‘Damn you.’
Dehelen stood up and attacked Elota’s fists with his legs again after crossing the barrier.
*Bang*
With a roar, Dehelen flew back to the wall.
‘I can’t hold on.’
It seemed like he would be unable to move if he clashed with her a few more times.
‘They have to arrive soon or…….”
Dehelen stood up.
Suddenly.
“Aww!”
Elota’s roar was heard. It was a roar filled with pain.
‘Surely!’
Did the reinforcements arrive?
Having struggled to get up, Dehelen raised his head and looked at Elota.
“Huh”
Seeing Elota, Dehelen could not help but be puzzled.
‘Fire?’
It was because Elota was on fire.
‘Wait.’
Dehelen could see that the fire burning Elota was no ordinary fire.
‘Hellfire?’
It was clearly Hellfire.
