Re: Player-Chapter 112: [Finding Information]
Waking up again in the storeroom, I looked at the ceiling at the top before I smelled the tea that Anna and Leena had prepared outside.
And then standing up, I then stretched a little, making my blood circulation a bit more flexible than before.
Stretching makes your blood reach some parts which are stiffer and gives them oxygen supply, making your overall body much more active than before.
"So, where do we start this time?" I asked myself, as I had a couple of ideas in my mind. And after going through various scenarios, II decided it would be better to check for more information first.
'After all, I still don't know who is behind all this,' I thought as I got out of the room and saw the sisters having breakfast.
"You guys continue on your own. I have something to do with the Elves, so I will leave early," I spoke as I looked at them and they nodded at me.
Since I have already done checking everything in the last run, I then began moving towards elves directly. Though this time I used arrays to run faster than using my skills.
-Whoosh!
-Whoosh!
"Herath. I am in a bit of a hurry," I shouted at him as I ran past him within a moment, and taking a peek back, I saw him giving me a thumbs up.
Concentrating back at the front, I increased my speed once again, this time creating air currents throughout the forest.
-WHOOSH!!!
-WHOOSH!!!!
This forest was like the back of my hand. I practically know each and every flower that is present in this forest right now. And navigating through the fastest way is as easy as pie for me right now.
And within a few minutes, I was at the location where Nvida and Trisha were sitting on a swing made up of vines, talking happily as they looked at each other.
-Thud!!
Creating a block of stone in front of me, I paused my steps and stopped a dozen meters away from the duo.
The sound from the shock reached those two, making them look at me with a cautious expression. Though when my figure appeared in front of them, they relaxed as they saw me in front of them.
"What happened?" Trisha asked with a curious face.
"I was horny," I washed my clothes using my hands, and I turned at them with a bright smile, making them chuckle a little.
"Aren't you mostly horny?" Nvida asked with a teasing smile, and I shook my head before speaking with a serious voice.
"Always," I spoke before I moved towards them while keeping the surroundings in check.
Been talking with them and dealing with the forest, I have come to open up to both of them as Wesker. It is close enough to crack little dirty jokes with them at times.
"So. What brings you here this time?" Trisha asked again as she looked at me, while I looked at my arrays surrounding us.
"I am losing control over my arrays slowly," I spoke as brought out a bunch of arrays that I planted on the ground and then tore them into pieces.
"What do you mean?" Nvida asked as slight worry filled in her eyes, before she added," Should we worry about anything?"
"An Array Master, probably. If I had known, I might have prepared things in advance and took extra time… and as for worry… not really. Morpheus is enough for them.
I am just making sure nothing goes wrong because of me," I spoke as I explained to them about the entire thing.
I told them even about the types of arrays and how a master array can control them, making them realize the faults in my arrays. And also the difference between me and a real array master.
"So the fact that your arrays are being taken over…." Trisha spoke realizing something, and I completed her sentence.
"... means that the Array master is already within the forest."
"Let me help," Nvida spoke as she created a vine that pierced the array that I just took out, and then tore it apart.
"Sure," I spoke as I channeled my mana to all the arrays in the vicinity and then pushed them up in the air.
-Rrrrrrr!
A crackling sound began pouring all around the forest, as Nvida tore all the arrays down.
"Don't you feel sad that all your efforts are being destroyed within a fraction?" Trisha asked curiously. Probably because she didn't find remorse on my face at all.
But I can't really tell her that I can just restart, can I?
-Whoosh!
An air gust blew from behind Trisha and reached me, but it vanished right before reaching me as Trisha reached in between and absorbed it.
"Man, I thought it was going to be easy but to think that you will go destroy all those arrays," and there came the familiar voice of the Crazy Manipulator.
He walked towards us just like last time, and Nvida perhaps sensed the other dark mages like last time, too, as they walked closer to us.
'This is a bit faster than the last run, huh? Is it because they can't capture Trisha as easily as last time?' I thought as I looked at Trisha for a moment.
"Trisha…" I wanted to ask her something that I have been curious for quite a while now but didn't ask because of status difference.
"What?" she asked as she looked at me with a serious expression.
"I haven't asked this yet, but what exactly is your purpose for visiting this forest?" I asked as I observed her, making her turn silent before speaking,
"Focus on the fight, Wesker."
While it meant that we have something more important right now, it also meant that she dodged that question. Well, we will figure it out slowly.
"Sure," I spoke as I looked at the Array Master, and the other dark mages walking towards us. Unlike last time, they didn't begin their chant.
'Maybe it's because of Trisha? And maybe the number of times they can use those spells is limited too?'
"Come on, now. Can't we get to a common ground or something? We have already talked about this darling," one of the dark mages spoke as he walked from the east.
His eyes filled with lust. He seemed like he was having a hard time to control his body and not jump at Trisha.
"Don't waste time, Albedo," spoke another dark mage the came from the west side. His eyes were purplish, like his hair. He seems about 26 years old, and had a broad face.
"Aww man. Don't be such a killjoy," Albedo spoke childishly as he seemed to be irritated by that remark.
Two more dark mages followed, but they were quiet and didn't speak anything. They just surrounded us with the rest 3, as I, Nvida and Trisha stood there at the center.
"Well. Darling.. We tried our best to capture you, but it seems like that I might need to settle with feeling up your dead body only," Albedo spoke regretfully.
[One Way Out!]
[Dexterity Boosted!]
[Frenzy!]
[Nimble Movements!]
Time slowed to the point where everything came to a halt except me. I looked at those around me for a moment before I yawned and stretched a little.
And after that, I swiftly reached one of the silent mages. I cut down his neck, killing him in an instant.
[You have killed a Lvl. 102 Battle Dark Mage!]
'Eh? He was a battle Dark Mage? Aren't those too rare?' I thought as I picked up his body. I threw it slowly in front of Albedo before standing behind him.
A few more seconds and the skills' time was over and the body of that dark mage fell in front of Albedo, making him take a step back in fear.
And that fear intensified when he saw that it was his companion.
"Gale?!" He shouted, and the others were shocked as well.
"Didn't you say that you liked feeling bodies?" I spoke from behind, making Albedo turn around and jump back as he saw me in terror.
"W-W-WHO ARE YOU?!!!!" He shouted as he looked at me before falling on the ground off his feet.
The others were skeptical of me as well, and even Trisha and Nvida looked at me as if they didn't know me at all.
'If all I am going to get silence in return, then I might as well restart and try another way,' I thought as I wondered if I should speak or just restart.
"Wesker. Origin unknown. Power Level D-Grade at max. Danger Level E-Grade at max," the Crazy manipulator spoke out as he looked at me and I smiled at them.
"Seems like… there has been a miscalculation… a grave miscalculation," the pink-haired guy spoke as he looked at me for a few moments. His eyes turned even more serious than before,
"But we cannot step back now."
And then the entire ground started glowing, and the surrounding trees began withering at a rapid speed.
