RE: Perverted Sugar Daddy System-Chapter 408: Care
Knock!!
Knock!!
Lucy didn’t take long to answer the door.
With an innocent expression, she pulled it open, her head peeking through the small opening and her eyes widening as they landed on my figure.
A tint of red appeared on her cheek, and she was summoning the courage to speak when her gaze took in the rest of my form.
For a second, horror flashed on her face.
The woman immediately let go of the door and stepped out, moving to my side and holding my right arm.
"Are you alright?"
The care with which she held what remained of my limb and her black eyes, which trembled and moistened as she stared at my stump, told of how much pain and worry she felt at the moment.
"I’ll live."
I thought those words were enough to calm much of Lucy’s worry, but she was not satisfied in the least.
"Of course you will, but look at you.
Your arm’s a mess, and you’ve lost many pounds. It’s like you’ve been starved for nearly a month."
Other than the pain in my arm and the desire for revenge, I hadn’t really thought about any other things, least of all, how I looked.
"Come."
Lucy didn’t wait for my acquiescence; she grabbed me by my left hand and pulled me in.
Using the back of her foot, she shut the door.
Continuing forward, the lady didn’t let go of my arm, taking me to the bathroom.
We got in, and after seating me on a stool, she went and filled the tub with steaming water.
"I’m coming."
Lucy disappeared into her room and seconds later appeared with a first aid kit in hand.
She silently got on her knees on my left and began undoing the bandage on my stump.
"This wrapping was well done, but the bandages are already stained...
Did this happen during the fight?"
"Fight?"
"Chiara told me you had been involved in a fight within the big city and would be locked up.
She promised you would be back soon, safe and sound...
So, when did this happen?"
At this point, Lucy had freed the stump, and my eyes went over its bloody, grotesque nature.
"While I was in prison," I told the truth.
"So she lied to me," Lucy spat.
"I think you should focus more on the positive; she brought me back."
"Incomplete."
Such a word being used made me feel uncomfortable, but I didn’t make mention of it.
"When did you learn to administer first aid so well?" I asked as Lucy poured some liquid from a bottle on my red flesh, causing it to burn.
"Since I was little. I’m well-versed with the basics of health and first aid. I even know a thing or two about surgery."
"I had no idea you were interested in such fields." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
"I’m not, it’s just something I learned out of boredom and admiration.
I grew up close to a man who was both a doctor and a priest.
It was incredible to watch him not just pray for his patients but also be their miracle."
I at first thought Lucy was referring to Albert, but then she made mention of this figure of her admiration being a priest.
"Since he went to Brazil, I haven’t heard from him.
I hope he’s alright."
Lucy had a sober, reminiscent look on her face as she spoke, and somehow, I felt her care for me got more delicate.
"Ever asked Chiara about him?"
"I did, but they only tell me he’s alive.
No one here really likes him; he’s honestly a troublemaker.
They don’t want me close to him."
Lucy spoke casually on this topic, and it let me know she had no grudges with the church over their interference.
"Alright, all done."
"What’s the blue covering for?"
In addition to the fresh bandages added to my arm, Lucy had added a blue covering to it.
"It’s for the water; we don’t want the bandage getting soaked when you take your bath."
Standing in front of me, the blonde extended a hand, and as I took it, I admired her legs and muscular thighs.
Her toes painted black, Lucy had on just a white shirt, its length barely going over her bum.
She led me to the tub, which was already full of water, and knelt beside me as I soaked in.
In no time, a sponge was in the woman’s hands, and she gently scrubbed my body while I closed my eyes, rubbing areas where the muscles were tight with her soft fingers.
"System."
While my body was being taken care of, I went looking for a solution to my missing arm.
Thinking of how I had lost a limb, I hungered to return to St. Bernard and beat up the warden and his bed toy, but I calmed down.
My momentary rage caught Lucy’s attention, and she whispered sweet words into my ears.
Scrolling through the items available in the shop, I listened as Niamh stepped into the room and was told by Lucy to get a warm meal ready for me.
I came across stamina and healing potions, a high-grade one even popping up.
It took me a bit more time, but by the time Lucy had washed the rest of my body and the fingers of her right arm were going up and down my length, I saw my target.
[Low Grade Regeneration Potion]
[Mid Grade Regeneration Potion]
Even before I started searching, I had a lot of faith these items would be available, and my faith came from my understanding of the system.
The program was tailored to support my growth and success. While it didn’t coddle me through all my hardships, in a dire situation, it provided possible solutions for me, albeit with absurd prices.
"It’s good to see you’re healthy down here. No problems."
Lucy’s words burst my bubble of having a good time, and when I opened my eyes, I saw she was already changing the water.
