Christos could only sit back and calculate the faith that was lost in the Olympian gods.

He couldn't help but feel a sense of dread because of this. It is not like this didn't happen before. When the gods are fighting in the celestial realms, it is very common to send their followers on the far to erase their faith.

So, he took a drastic step and decided to go to the big man to answer these questions. After so many years, Bloody Chariot did something that he didn't even do when he was on verge of death.

He went to the temple of Zeus and performed the ritual to summon the projection of the god.

Within a few seconds, the statue started glowing.

[Why have you summoned me?]

Zeus' voice could be heard from the statue.

"Hello, Lord Zeus. It has been a while. When was the last time that we talked?"

[In the Battlefield of Gods. In your last war. When I was pleased by your service and gave you a boon. You wished for the position in the Zeus academy to live the life of a recluse."

"I am really honored. To think even the great Zeus will remember the meeting with a lowly human. I must be very special."

[Special Indeed. Why did you call me?]

"I am at a roadblock and I need your help. I hope you can point me in the right direction here."

"A young man named Sam. Even though the Dean has authority to issue the Academy tower tokens, essentially the academy belongs to the god, which means you. So, I am sure you are informed of the reasons why he was given a token.

Bloody Chariot slumped in his chair and sighed. The same answer as Olaf. A bit different when put to words. But still…

"Sir, Gungnir has come again and this time he came with a bunch of students from all grades. He is here for an Academy Wager."

"Wager?" Bloody Chariot was dumbfounded.

An academy wager. It has been ages since he last heard of it. That is because he lived as a fucking recluse for so many years.

The academy wager is actually pretty standard thing. Whenever there are some conflicts between the academies, or if one academy desires the property of another academy, instead of going to the war, they can go to the wager.

It is very similar to the trial by combat conducted in the court of the academy realm.

Both parties come together and select a method of competition. Both sides stake something and their representatives duke it out.

This minimizes the casualties between both sides and they don't have to be wary that some other third party will come in fish in the muddied waters.

So, it is a much more preferrable option.

Bloody Chariot didn't hear about it because he is not participating in the academy activities. He went to meet Gungnir.

"What is this Gungnir?" He asked directly. Gungnir noticed that the smile on Bloody Chariot's face is not as calm as before. It looked a lot forced at the moment.

"You came to our academy and tried to mess with our Dean when you already owe us an explanation and compensation for letting your academy members attack us for conducting our duties.

We preferred an academy war, but our Dean advised us to take care of this in a much more tame way.

So, we are going to go through this academy war.

Students from all four grades. There will be five team combats.

The first graders will participate in two, while the remaining three grades will participate in one each. The first side to win three combats will win."

"Oh? Then what do you want to stake for this? What do you want from the Zeus academy?"

"Legacy inheritances. Two of them."

Bloody Chariot narrowed his eyes.

"I am sorry. The legacy inheritances are the private property of the students. They will not give up."

So, he stepped forward to fight in the Team fight himself. However to his surprise, Donner has come forward from the Thor academy to fight from their side.

When Sam got the news he became so excited that he went to be a spectator.

He also told Stone to observe the fights because White is also participating in the second team battle of the first grade.

Since, the time for Stone to challenge them is coming soon, they figured this would be the perfect time for Stone to understand them a bit more.
