Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer-Chapter 2121 Business Deal
"Hello nice to meet you. I am Sandy." Sam introduced himself with his alias. He extended his hand which the other party too graciously.
"Nice to meet you too, I am Joran." The young man greeted and gestured them to take a seat. Sam looked around at the private room which Joran and Ivar exchanged some more pleasantries. The room is a bit on the dark side, like the modern day pubs. Even the lightning has a purple glow giving out real night club look.
On the other side of the table, there were sofas fastened to the wall, on which Joran actually sat.
On this side, where Sam and Ivar sat they were chairs, that were heavily padded with high quality leather and cushions. Sam felt quite comfortable there. It was a place truly designed to relax.
"So, Ivar said that you have an excellent business opportunity for me. What would that be?"
Joran asked as he poured a glass of wine for Sam.
Sam looked at the young man in the eyes. Joran looked like a typical young master at first glance, his luxurious cloths, the way he wore his hair, the scent emitting from his body and the ornaments. He looked like a young master through and through.
But just from his callused palms and his sharp eyes, Sam could guess that there is someone else hidden beneath that young master façade. A true warrior and maybe even a business man, or both. For a moment, Sam felt that Ivar didn't gauge this guy properly.
Sam took the wine offered to him and said.
"I do. Not just one, multiple actually."
"No problem, let's go through them one by one."
Joran smiled as he leaned back against his sofa. He made himself comfortable, ready to hear Sam's long offer.
Sam smiled and took a sip of the wine.
"First and foremost. Let's start with something simple. I heard from Ivar that you are quite a fan when it comes to alchohol."
"Drunkard must be the word that he used." Joran replied with a grin.
"I am not wrong." Ivar said from the side as he took a swig of his own wine.
"Then, I can use your expert opinion of some of my own creations." Sam waved his hand and six different wine gourds appeared on the table. They are all shaped differently and each and everyone of them had different patterns on it.
Only common things about those wine gourds is that they exuded water elemental energy quite a bit and also they were all decorated with aqua-blue colored patterns. *SNAP* *POP*
With a snap of Sam's fingers, the cork of the first gourd popped open. The whole room was covered in a thick and fragrant alcoholic scent. It was a bit sweet and also a bit hot at the same time. Joran closed his eyes and took the scent in.
"First and foremost, the Crystal fin."
Sam explained as he controlled the gourd to make it levitate and pour some wine in a glass crystal glass.
The wine appeared a light aqua blue colored with a slight tinge of red hue that gave it a slight purplish tint when placed against the light.
Joran took the glass and savored it thoroughly with a very small sip. An explosion of flavors hit his tongue. His water elemental energy within his body riled up a bit, but the next second it calmed down."
"Made from the heart of the Demonic Shark and several exotic fruits that can only be found in the habitat of that shark. It is mild in flavor and great for some long-winded nightly occasions or long sessions of drinking."
"Great wine." Joran nodded as he looked at the glass only to realize that he had already emptied it. It just felt like a small sip.
He licked his lips and wanted to ask for seconds, however at that moment.
*POP*
The next gourd opened automatically. Sam took away the first glass and poured the new one into a fresh glass.
Sam went on to explain the wines.
Siren's Serenade.
Kelp Whisper.
Mermaids Lullaby
Deep Leviathan Elixir
Coral Cascade
Abyssal Embrace
Sea Nymphs Nectar
Mystic Manta Essence
Triton's Tranquility
The ten bottles were tasted by Joran. By the end of it, he completely forgot that this was supposed to be a business deal. He was just looking forward to taste more and more of the amazing wine.
Sam was satisfied with that reaction. He was not the one to care much when making business deals like this. Since he was just a novice he has been making deals after deals. Most of them for sake of gaining a foothold or taking down someone.
The deal with Sjor family is the same.
However, he knew just how important this deal is, that is why he prepared meticulously. He collected materials from all the places the dusk had influence in and carefully crafted these wines with the help of the ape, Sia and Gyan.
And the effect is just what he desired.
After the ten bottles of wine were emptied, Joran felt a little tipsy in his heart. He wanted to drink more, but he appeared a bit 'full'. Not of the wine itself, but rather the energy within the wine. The pure water elemental energy had a unique effect on his body.
He could feel that the energy he was circulating was being filtered and his body is ready to excrete these impurities.
"I am sure, you want to take a bath. I can wait." Sam said as he took the empty bottles away. Joran immediately disappeared from the room and came back after ten minutes. He looked like a brand-new person.
There was a slight healthy pink glow on his face and it was amplified by the satisfied smile he had.
"The unique effect of the ten wines combined is amazing. Is that a wine set?"
"Yes, it is. Carefully brewed by my own two hands. This will be our first deal. I will give you an exclusive dealership of this wine in the following territories. But I need something in exchange for that."
Sam passed a slip of paper with the list of all the territories Sam wanted to hand over to Joran. Joran took a look and raised an eyebrow.
"Half of these territories are territories of conflict. The common point being Thalassa." He muttered without hiding his thoughts.
Sam also nodded without hiding his own.
"I will be honest with you. I have a personal conflict with Thalassa and I need your help in dealing with it."
His direct statement made Ivar frown. That was not how they decided to approach this. At first they planned to be a bit more vague about their situation and use some indirect means. However, Sam changed his mind.
His instinct told him that dealing with Joran in a more honest way will yield better results.
"Dealing with Thalassa? You picked quite a bit target. And me entering their markets with this product will most definitely create some conflict. And the value of this wine did seem like it's worth it, after all my conflict with the Thalassa is always going to be there."
"I guess you are in then."
"That depends, what do I gain apart from this? Let's discuss the profit share and the remaining businesses that you want to do."'
"No problem then. Sam took out a few metallic objects. Neither Ivar nor Joran recognized them. But people from back earth would be ever so familiar with them. They are handguns. Ever since Sam stepped into this world, he has one strict condition set to himself.
That he wouldn't sell this world's version of handguns. Guns were heartless in his opinion and simply put, he never really liked the addictive nature induced by these tools. But since the Olympians played dirty first, he decided to treat them to a little something.
"These are my inventions. Handguns. If it is okay with you, I would like to demonstrate a bit."
Sam said and five minutes later, they were in an arena within the restaurant.
There were some battle puppets in the arena likely for sparring. "Can you call a waiter? Preferably a mortal plane cultivator."
Sam asked ad Joran nodded. Soon the waiter was there.
"Wear this."
Sam gave a glove and a token that could be stuck to the guy's chest. Then he made the waiter aim the gun at the puppet. "Pull the trigger when you want."
Sam said and stepped back.
The waiter was confused. He couldn't feel any energy fluctuations from the gun or the token on his chest. But he did as he was told.
*BANG*
The gun worked just like a modern-day hand gun. The muzzle gave out a couple of sparks as the metallic bullet escaped. A shell came out of the back and fell to the ground. However, there were a few extra things.
The glove took the brunt of the recoil and most of it wasn't even absorbed by it, instead, the token on the chest of the young man cracked slightly.
As for the bullet itself.
*SWOOSH*
It shot through the wind and hit the training dummy.
*BOOM*
An explosion of red flames burned the dummy to a crisp.
And finally, there was one change that no one really noticed. Below the butt of the gun, there was a number. Previously it was twelve and after the shot was fired, it became eleven.
The dust settled and both Joran and Ivar had their mouths wide open. If not for the burned wooden taste in their mouths, they wouldn't have come to their senses.
