Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 247: Small Level Up
Chapter 247: Small Level Up
"Fuuuck off!" Rael yelled as he kicked the Undead Guardian straight in its scaly nuts.
And for the first time since the fight began, he finally managed to land a critical hit.
-32,853,456,297! [32,853 Billion] | Critical Hit! (x1 Melee)
The Undead Guardian flapped its wings in surprise as it recoiled.
Its body was riddled with wounds, and its scales had long since broken off.
If Rael had to estimate, at least 4 hours had passed since he had begun fighting this thing.
But finally, it was done.
—Undead Dragonborn Guardian (Duke Class Elite) [Level 2000] [2.72 Trillion / 85.865 Trillion HP]
He had toned down his MTP usage so as not to cross over the Excess, and he was finally at his limit.
[MTP: 3,544 Billion / 6,570 Billion [+0 Billion Excess]]
Any more and I’m going to bleed money, not very nice, Rael thought with a hum.
But even so, he had to end this here.
He focused on the Undead Guardian, who slowly staggered over to Rael.
It had cool melee skills and all, but simply because Rael had the Hollow Waltz skill and the Blood Blade skill, the two of them were a bad match-up for each other.
Still, just as the Undead Guardian was about to reach Rael, he activated one of his skills that actually dealt damage to this monster.
[MTP -150M | 3,394 Billion / 6,570 Billion [+3,176 Billion Excess]] (x1 Neural Collapse)
The moment he did, the monster’s head exploded into bits.
And of course, this time, the monster had no way to resist the damage.
-5,672,384,239,909! [5,672 Trillion] | Critical Hit x1 (x1 Neural Collapse)
Rael took a deep breath as he turned his attention toward his long-awaited boons.
<Undead Dragonborn Guardian (Duke Class Elite) (x1) [Level 2000] Killed! Experience: +10,038,139,704>

<+684,353 Strength>
<+554,734 Agility>
<+3,923,753 Constitution>
<+3,888 Intelligence>
<+239,766 Wisdom>
Rael stared at the pop-ups for a few moments, unsure of what to say.
Sure, the monster was Level 2000, and sure, it was an Elite... but doubling his level?
The monster’s stats weren’t that great either, so when Rael remembered how much experience he could’ve gotten from Jashin’s avatar, his heartbeat quickened.
After all, it was very likely that the dragon he faced at the very end of this dungeon would be of a similar level to Jashin.
Even so, Rael put that aside as he focused on something else entirely.
<Boss Monster Variation Upgraded!>

<Premium Perk Selection - Available!>
<You may choose a perk!>
1. Premium Facade [Special-Unique]
—Purchase a false identity complete with forged records, memories, and reputation. The identity is ???.
2. Premium Echo [Special-Unique]
—Replay any moment you’ve witnessed in perfect detail. Can be shared with others or used for tactical analysis.
3. Premium Trickery: Death [Special-Unique]
—Disappear from the system’s records and start as a new entity. All items and creations are wiped, but everything else may be kept. Resets causality. Gain the Premium Facade perk as a bonus. One-Time Use. Cost: ??? Consequences: ???.
"...?" Rael tilted his head. What is that last one? Fake my death? Also, two Premium Perks in one package? What is this ’get two for the price of one’ bullshit?
This batch was definitely not the best, as it didn’t even have a single combat-related effect.
But even so, these perks really only offered one clear choice.
And that was the third one.
<Perk Chosen! Premium Trickery: Death [Special-Unique]>
<Ding!>
<You’ve received Premium Facade [Special-Unique] as a bonus!>
Hmm... Rael mused as he pressed on one of the perks.
<Premium Trickery: Death>
—Do you wish to start anew? Yes/No.
[What a fascinating perk...] Burger muttered.
"Is it? It doesn’t even have a description," Rael said with a scoff.
[It doesn’t, but it had a description before you picked it,] Burger replied calmly. [In essence, this is like your ticket out.]
"And why would I ever use it? Because of the causality reset? I don’t even know the consequences, and I don’t really know if I want to find out," Rael said flatly.
Burger sighed. [You never know what might happen, so I’d keep an open mind. That’s what I’ve done for the last couple of eons, and that’s also the reason I’m still alive while others have long since perished.]
Rael paused for a few moments, then nodded.
He’d keep Burger’s words in the back of his mind for the time being. After all, he already had a bunch on his plate.
Even so, he checked out the second perk as well. freewebnσvel.cѳm
<Premium Facade>
—You can now buy the identities of the forgotten!
—Aton Moretti: Long brown hair, blue eyes. Prominent scar on the right palm. Eccentric, optimistic personality.
—Information: Born as a noble whose family was killed. He was later exiled. A few years later, he became an academy professor and taught history. His reputation was good amongst students, but he was despised by his peers because of his noble past. He was murdered by one of his peers masking themselves as a student during an academy trip.
—Identity cost: 500,000,000 Trell
—Damian: Bald, one crimson eye, the other is missing. Missing both of his thumbs. Violent, insecure, foolish personality.
—Information: Orphan. When he came of age, he joined a local gang. He had aspirations of being more than a gangster, so he tried to leave. The other members saw his decision as idiotic, so they punished him every time he brought up leaving. He couldn’t take it anymore in the end, so he killed the gang leader and then was shot in the head.
—Identity cost: 40,000,000 Trell
<Expand: 9999+>
"How does this even work...?" Rael muttered. "I just buy one of those identities, and I become them? Do I need to cosplay as them too or something?"
[Buy it and find out,] Burger said plainly. [The limbless bald guy is pretty cheap. Do it.]
Rael stared at the interface for a few seconds before closing it. "Maybe after I’m done here."
With that, he stretched his back and glanced ahead.
—(x53) Blue Snake Dragon [Level 2100] [20,209 Billion / 20,209 Billion HP]
"Hmm..."
Only 53?
