Thomas kept his eyes on the phone screen. Although the screen’s image changed slightly, he noticed it clearly. He knew Alice on the other end had moved the phone, "Alice! Come back, I promise I won’t annoy you anymore, Alice! Alice! Alice!"

Calling her Alice throughout the call, her ears started to heat up.
