Chapter 1021: Chapter 1021: Whether I’m a Man Is None of Your Business

Alice Turner walked downstairs and saw the car parked not far from the apartment entrance. Although she had only ridden in that car once yesterday, she could still recognize it; it was Benjamin Shaw’s car.

Is he really planning to stay here and not leave?

She thought Benjamin had already left, but what surprised Alice was that he hadn’t left yet. She completely couldn’t understand what he meant.

He always felt annoyed seeing her, never had any feelings for this family, but these past two days, he kept coming back home. Was he here to annoy her again?

Before entering the elevator, Alice took out her phone and sent a voice message to Thomas Fisher on WeChat.

"I’m home now, don’t worry and head back."

After sending the message, she walked into the elevator with her phone. Before the elevator moved up, she received his reply.

"Have a good dream tonight, remember to think of me."

Thomas’s reply was also a voice message. Seeing no one else in the elevator, Alice opened his voice message and listened. Afterward, a smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.

When Alice walked out of the elevator and returned home, Benjamin Shaw was sitting in the living room watching TV. Judging by the sounds, it should be the CCTV finance channel. She changed into slippers, carried her bag, and walked into the living room.

Benjamin had heard the commotion at the door just now. When he saw Alice walk in, he wasn’t at all surprised, only giving her a glance.

Seeing the man’s indifferent demeanor, Alice wanted to kick him out, but thinking about the unresolved divorce, she had to suppress the impulse to drive him out. She tried to stay calm and walked over to sit on the sofa.

"Did you come back because you’ve thought it through? When do you have time?" Sitting down, Alice went straight to the point, speaking directly without wasting a word.

Benjamin seemed not to hear her, his eyes unblinking as he stared at the TV, not even turning his head, completely focused on watching TV.

Alice glanced at the TV, then at the man sitting not far away. "Benjamin Shaw! Let’s stop wasting each other’s time. Dragging this out benefits neither of us."

She knew he was deliberately ignoring her, but she still intentionally raised her voice when speaking, adding a touch of annoyance to her tone.

"Now you’re in a hurry, but where were you earlier?" Seeing Alice eager to divorce, Benjamin’s heart surged with an unexplained rage, and his anger was directed at her with his words.

Is this man never going to end it? Bringing up her being late from the other day again.

Alice’s fierce gaze was directed straight at the man, "Benjamin Shaw! Is nitpicking with a woman what makes you a man? I really look down on you."

Not gentlemanly at all, he truly disgraced a man’s facade.

"Whether I’m a man or not is none of your concern, and I don’t care whether you look up to me or not." Benjamin glared angrily at Alice, then continued staring at the TV.

Alice was so angry she wished she could rush over and kick him twice, but in the end, she held back. She took a deep breath to calm herself, then, once somewhat pacified, spoke: "Let’s stop with useless chatter. Pick a time; when do we finalize the divorce?"

She didn’t want to waste any more time bickering with him now. Divorce was the only thing left for her to do with him.
