Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 1019: Know Your Limits
After Thomas Fisher wiped Alice Turner’s mouth, he took the opportunity to lean over and kiss her. She didn’t expect him to suddenly kiss her, and before she could react, he straightened up and sat back.
"Calling you a bad guy, you really are a bad guy." Instead of being upset, Alice Turner actually showed a happy expression, her mouth curved into a very noticeable arc.
Seeing her happy appearance, Thomas Fisher regretted not kissing her longer. Had he known she would react this way, he wouldn’t have pulled away so hurriedly, thinking she might get upset.
"Yes, I am a bad guy." Being called a bad guy didn’t bother him at all, and seeing her happy expression, he smiled even more joyfully than her.
"Hurry up and eat, bad guy!"
Alice Turner pointed with her chopstick-holding hand at Thomas Fisher, stopping him from continuing to speak. She picked up the meal box filled with spicy hot pot and continued to shovel the food into her mouth with chopsticks,
This eating method she just created through practice, finding it much more effortless, although it’s not suitable for public places where people might laugh at her.
But now with him, she didn’t worry about it. He certainly wouldn’t laugh at her.
Thomas Fisher glanced at Alice Turner, who was happily eating, and due to the recent unexpected situation, dared not say anything more to her, silently withdrawing his gaze from her. He picked up the takeout he had placed on the front platform earlier and joined her in eating.
Before long, Alice Turner had finished the spicy hot pot in her meal box. Seeing she was done, Thomas Fisher instinctively stopped eating and looked at her, "Are you full? Do you want to eat a bit more?"
He brought his takeout box in front of her, offering her some more.
"I’m full. You hurry up and eat."
Alice Turner raised her hand and pushed away the takeout box Thomas Fisher offered her, tossed her empty meal box into the plastic bag, and took two tissues to wipe her mouth.
Once she was tidied up, she sat quietly in her seat, waiting for him to finish so he could take her back.
Thomas Fisher looked over at Alice Turner in the passenger seat with the corner of his eye and purposely slowed his eating pace.
While slowly eating, he kept using his peripheral vision to observe her next to him, sensing she hadn’t noticed his pace, so he slowed down even more.
Actually, when he first started slowing his pace, Alice Turner had noticed but didn’t speak out to expose him, understanding clearly why he was doing it—he didn’t want her to leave so soon.
And how she didn’t want to leave early. She didn’t even want to go back to that home; if she weren’t eager to go back to discuss divorce with that man, she would gladly stay here with him and watch the riverside night scenery.
Eating really slowly, but eventually, he finished.
Thomas Fisher almost considered drinking the soup in the meal box, but while he hesitated, Alice Turner suddenly reached over and grabbed the box from his hand, "If you’re not full, you can eat that rice; don’t just stare at the meal box dumbly, you can’t eat it."
She glanced at the box of rice, tossed the empty meal box she had taken from him into the plastic bag.
"I’m really not full."
As soon as she finished speaking, Thomas Fisher truly reached for the box of rice, deciding to sacrifice his stomach a bit to spend more time with her.
Seeing him genuinely pick up the box of rice, Alice Turner grew somewhat anxious, "Just do what you can, don’t lose the big for the small. We have plenty of time to spend together."
