Raid: The Blacksmith-Chapter 48: Epilogue: Part Three
"Dang, that’s a lot. I’m gonna have to build a very big smithy for all of this. Can’t have them simply floating around this island."
I took three tall planks of wood, each about ten metres tall, then cut them up accordingly using First Dawn. I then took the Goblin Lord’s corpse then dematerialized everything else. I looked around the forest of my island to find vines and used them to tie up the planks of wood together to make a flat boat. I then placed the Goblin Lord’s corpse on the boat and pushed it towards the ocean as it started to float away across the water. I let it go a fair distance away and then activated the Ifrit Skill. I conjure out a fire bow and arrow, aimed and released.
I gave the Goblin Lord’s a Viking’s burial.
The flames enveloped his body and the boat as it kept floating across the water.
"Can’t think of anything that screams ’warrior’ more than this for a funeral."
[Report. The Goblin Lord has sensed Subject’s respect towards him as a Warrior. The Goblin Lord thanks Subject from the bottom of his heart. The Goblin Lord’s spirit now wishes to converse with the Subject.]
[Grant this wish?]
[~Yes~ or ~No~]
"Been a while since I’ve seen a question from the System."
I pressed the ’Yes’ button.
[Report. Wish granted. The Goblin Lord’s spirit is manifesting...]
An intense wind blew as a small tornado formed in mid-air. A pure and calming Mana filled the surroundings. And as the tornado started to disperse, a large entity emerged from it.
"Gafa (Greetings) G’nori (Warrior)."
Before me right now was the Goblin Lord. However, there were a few differences from the one I fought. For starters, he was bigger. Much bigger. Secondly, not only was his body semi-transparent, it was glowing. And thirdly he was floating.
"Guess that’s a spirit form for ya. At least he’s still green...but then there’s the fact that I can now understand him. Is his language being translated automatically so we can speak comfortably? That means he’ll be able to understand me too, right?"
"Sup." I spoke. "So that’s what ’G’nori’ meant all along, huh?’
"Dwago (Yes). Lei (It) piru (seems) lupan (that) vako (we) nora (can) geori (both) siveki (understand) ara (one) kuzek (another). Moru (This) sab (must) inasi (be) soka (the) kufo (power) roa (of) Soka Meluk Ara (The Unified One) ha (I’ve) megwe (only) vesi (heard) netabi (tales) qwef (about)."
"Unified One? Is he talking about the Harmonia System? Guess it’d be known with a different name in a whole other world."
"Yeah. So what did you want to talk about?"
"Ha (I) lobana (wanted) de (to) lokwe (thank) ko (you) ak (and) de (to) bino (give) ko (you) kaso (a) wakuni (token) roa (of) hami (my) avipranto (appreciation)."
"A token?"
"Dwago (Yes). Ko (You) rina (still) swe (have) hami (my) Ilanko (Core), dwago (yes)?"
"You mean the Mana Crystal? Yeah." I materialized it then showed it to him.
"Lupan a lei (That’s it). Lupan (That) Ilanko (Core) gamera (contains) siyo (all) lupan (that) ha (I) se (am), ko (you) pira (see)."
"Kwe (Long) vari (ago), jahin (before) Sokayala (The Incursion), ha (I) ti (was) dalano (hailed) ei (as) Soka Farr Atin (The Emerald Lord), soka (the) Seoritan (Goblin King). I listened attentively as he told me his story.
"Yosi (Every) sando (year), nare (on) kaso (a) asam (very) lokaro (special) oro (day), siyo (all) aua (four) roa (of) kirahi (us) dasan (would) nayera (gather) ak (and) re’uk (discuss) anoyi (amongst) kirako (ourselves). "Yaludori Almin?"
"Dwago (Yes). "Sunset Slash did that? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. It’s a powerful attack. Could that be why Peyton was freaking about how ’’dangerous’’ it was?"
"Pento (For) lupan (that), ha (I) lokwe (thank) ko (you). Lupan (That) Ilanko (Core) gamera (contains) hami (my) Liavi (Aspect), Tanecito (Tenacity). I did as he said and broke the Mana Crystal. It was instantly absorbed within me without the use of any of my Skills and a power I’d never felt before surged within my body.
"Zaku (Now) ido (then) G’nori (Warrior). Ha (I) dasan (would) aru (like) de (to) shive (ask) ko (you) pento (for) kaso (a) goruka (favor)."
"Sure. What is it?"

"Sure thing. It would be my honour."
"Ha (I) lokwe (thank) ko (you) G’nori (Warrior). Hami (My) tetali (name) ti (is)... Hayzar."
"Hayzar. What a powerful name."
"Dwago (Yes). Lei (It) ti (was) fayan (given) de (to) miy (me) yo (by) hami (my) aluk (father). Soka (The) satrenk’wa (strongest) sifori (fighter) ha (I’ve) xano (ever) gumek (known). "Hey, not cool." I objected.
"Hahahaha!" He laughed. "Ha (I) megwe (only) dai (say) lei (it) ei (as) ha (I) pira (see) lei (it)...zaku (now) ido (then), ha (I) miyaku (should) inasi (be) kreyi (going)...ha (I) nora (can) taku (not) manta (tell) ko (you) soka (the) tetali (names) roa (of) hami (my) elok (brothers), sef (nor) soka (the) Liavi (Aspects) fahu (they) lowanto (embody). "Hold on. Before you go."
"Dwago (Yes)?"
"I wanted to ask. ’Ni-Asifa’, what does it mean? You and the other Goblins wouldn’t stop saying it during our battle."
"Ah (Ah) lupan (that) hando (chant). Vako (We) yina (were) siyo (all) manketo (forced) de (to) dai’ruch (keep saying) lupan (that) ban (while) vako (we) yina (were) juwe (under) soka (the) heni (mind) basu (control), ko (you) pira (see). Ni-Asifa (!×-#€×&#)."
~Rumble!~
As soon as he was about to say ’Ni-Asifa’, his voice was muted completely, and replaced with an annoying sound that echoed throughout the entire island. Then my whole Item Space shook as if in response.
"What the hell!? ’Shook’ is an understatement. It felt like the whole Item Space was about to be destroyed. It was slowly crumbling, and only stopped as soon as that annoying sound did. Just what in the hell was that?"
"Fode (Well) ido (then) G’nori (Warrior)."
"Hm?"
"Ha (I) zenndo (will) zaku (now) rufani (take) hami (my) penkwe (leave)" Said Hayzar.
"Did he not feel that?" I wondered. "If that’s the case then he must’ve not heard that sound at all too. He prolly heard himself say Ni-Asifa just fine."
"Aright." I bid him farewell. I still had some questions but I didn’t want to keep him here any longer than he wanted. He deserved his peace. "If I ever find my way to the Spirit World, I’ll be sure to visit."
"Hahaha! Dwago (Yes), fenor (quite). Hink’fode (Farewell) pento (for) zaku (now) ido (then). Som (May) kon (your) kalini (ventures) inasi (be) myan (filled) kyoba (with) yisifalo (prosperity)." He vanished as if merging with the wind.
"That was close. I can’t even begin to imagine what would’ve happened if the Item Space crashed with me still in it."
I then looked around. Small particles of light surrounded the entire space. Looked like it was healing. Additionally, waves of green colored Mana surrounded the whole beach.
"That one’s probably Hayzar’s doing. Hm... Exit Item Space." My body slowly turned to pixels again, as I vanished from Kairon and rematerialized back to Earth in my hotel room.
"I should just wait and let it heal." I sighed.
~Sigh~
"Seriously. Just what the hell happened back there? Some unexplainable force almost broke my world. Then there’s the fact that Hayzar’s words were cut off when he was about to let me know what ’Ni-Asifa’ means. Hayzar didn’t even notice it. There’s no way that wasn’t intentional. So whoever or whatever prevented Hayzar from revealing what ’Ni-Asifa’ means, must be pretty damn powerful. To be able to overpower a translate function run by the System. The Demon Yaludori Almin perhaps? I oughta keep a look out. Chances are, I might meet him in a high level Dungeon... Hoof! I am tired though. It’s been a hell of a long day. I should get some rest."
I fell back on my bed and closed my eyes as I said that.
[Report. Advancements in the Subject’s overall Warrior info have been detected as a result of recent actions.]
"Hm?"
A message popped up.
"Odd. What could it be about? I don’t think I did anything noteworthy recently outside of-... The Aspect, of course!"
I opened my eyes and took a look at the message.
....
"Well damn."
