Chapter 636: Chapter 235: Enemies on a Narrow Road_1

The man, upon seeing this, was so frightened that he hastily reached out to cover his eyes, blocking Qin Shou’s eye-gouging strike. The man said proudly, "I knew you were up to no good, haha... I was prepared for, ugh... ow!"

Fang Ya, holding the rabbit that had just retracted its foot from the man’s crotch, slowly walked forward. From start to finish, her attitude towards the man was as if he was just air. No matter what Qin Shou did, she neither encouraged nor stopped him, as if the man really didn’t exist at all.

Qin Shou, quite smug, tilted his head back and said, "Fool, haven’t you ever heard of a diversion? Not just my hands, my feet can stretch too. You’ve got a thief’s look—staring like that, you’ll need to rest up for a few months before you can go ’bang bang bang’ again..."

Upon hearing this, Fang Ya pursed her lips and smiled, asking, "Are you angry because he looked at me?"

Qin Shou nodded vigorously and said, "Of course, you are my sister. If they are disrespectful to you, it’s only right that I teach them a lesson."

Fang Ya laughed and asked, "How do you know they were disrespectful to me?"

Qin Shou puffed out his chest and said, "Just by the understanding a man has of other men."

Fang Ya smiled gently, not saying a word, but a touch of tenderness flickered deep in her eyes.

At that moment, Qin Shou asked, "Sister, why are we even here? Are you familiar with these fellows?"

Fang Ya nodded and then shook her head, saying, "Not really familiar, but I do know them."

Qin Shou immediately said, "If we aren’t close, then let’s get out of here."

Fang Ya looked at Qin Shou and asked, "Why?"

Qin Shou said with a troubled expression, "I might have seriously offended them. Look at those fools; it’s probably because I took their stuff that they got dragged off to be executed. If they spot me, I bet I’d die even more horribly than they did."

Fang Ya laughed softly, her face relaxed as she said, "Don’t worry, even though we aren’t close, given my relationship with them, they won’t do anything to you."

Qin Shou retorted with a grimace, "Sister, this isn’t a trivial matter I’m talking about—it’s big enough to turn the world upside down. They were making a Furnace full of pills..."

Qin Shou narrated the whole story, expecting Fang Ya to be surprised, or afraid, and then to take him and run away. But to his astonishment, Fang Ya remained as calm and gentle as ever, as if what Qin Shou had stolen wasn’t a pill crucial for the rise of the Demon Clan, but rather some common shoe soles sold at the door.

"Are you done?" asked Fang Ya.

Qin Shou subconsciously nodded.

Then Fang Ya asked, "Do you still remember how you got to my place? What I told you when you arrived?"

Qin Shou paused, recalling carefully. He had appeared out of nowhere, crossing who knows how much distance, and landed directly in the Netherworld. The first thing Fang Ya said upon seeing him was that he had caused trouble...

So that means...

Qin Shou exclaimed, "Sister, you knew all along?" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Fang Ya nodded.

Qin Shou’s eyes lit up, daring to come even when she knew—could it be? "Sister, are you saying you can fix this?"

Fang Ya continued to nod.

Qin Shou, suddenly elated, clapped his hands and said, "That’s great! Let’s go watch the execution and celebrate."

Upon hearing this, Fang Ya was stunned. Watch an execution to celebrate? That’s indeed a unique way to celebrate.

After saying this, Qin Shou pointed in the direction where Golden Toad, Mountain Spider, and the others were being escorted and said, "Just watch their heads roll."

Fang Ya said indifferently, "Watch them?"

Qin Shou nodded, "Yeah, take a look at them, don’t they just look so festive?"

Fang Ya: "..."

Just as the Mountain Spider and the others were gritting their teeth cursing the rabbit, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a familiar shade of white!

In that instant, the Mountain Spider jolted, whirled around, and saw Qin Shou in the crowd! Qin Shou’s snow-white and chubby figure shone like a beacon, seizing his full attention.

It was impossible not to be drawn in; first, because of this rabbit, they hadn’t managed to get their hands on the Ginseng Fruit; then because of this rabbit again, the entire Feidan Hall had been cleaned out; and finally, they had directly been tricked into the bathroom of the Kunpeng Patriarch’s wife, which meant they were about to be executed!

Now that they had seen this bastard, how could they not focus all their energy and glare at him? If looks could kill, he would have definitely glared this rabbit to death!

Confirming it was that damned rabbit from his memory, the Mountain Spider, not sure whether out of excitement or anger, was shaking all over as he slapped the Golden Toad and Guiche next to him, saying, "I... I-I-I, I saw... I saw..."

"What did you see? Seeing anything is useless now, just wait for death," interrupted the Golden Toad, sighing.

The Mountain Spider continued to shout, "No, it’s... I, um, I saw... I saw that whatchamacallit."

Guiche broke in, "What are you talking about? Unless you saw that damn rabbit and that damn rabbit hasn’t eaten the Alchemy Furnace yet, and the pills inside are still intact, otherwise, we’re still going to die."

"Right..." exclaimed the Mountain Spider excitedly.

Feidan cursed, "Yeah, right, as if you wouldn’t have eaten it. After he finished speaking, he looked up at the sky with a face full of despair and shouted, "The ancients did not deceive me; beauty is a bone-scraping knife, beauty leads to trouble!"

Hearing this, the Mountain Spider was so angry that his eyeballs nearly spun around in their sockets. Gritting his teeth and stomping his foot, he yelled, "I saw the rabbit!"

"Seeing anyone is useless!" the others said in unison. After speaking, they all paused simultaneously, then stared at the Mountain Spider, asking, "Who did you see?"

The Mountain Spider didn’t want to speak anymore. All eight of his eyes turned in one direction; the others followed his gaze in unison to see a streak of white so dazzling among the crowd!

In that moment, the Golden Toad said, "The rabbit..."

Guiche said, "That’s him!"

Feidan said drooling, "Gorgeous!"

"Huh?!" Guiche, Golden Toad, and Mountain Spider all turned to look at Feidan at the same time.

Feidan immediately corrected himself, "Gorgeous my ass! Take him down!"

In the next moment, all four of them shouted, "The rabbit! That’s the rabbit who stole the Pill Furnace! Catch him!"

The demons tasked with escorting the four to the execution ground heard this and turned sharply to look at Qin Shou.

Qin Shou gave a sheepish grin to the crowd and flashed a set of pearly white teeth, saying, "Hi!"

"Beat him!" Feidan took the lead, and the others roared as they charged forward.

Seeing this, Qin Shou quickly said, "Sis, what are you looking at? Let’s get the hell out of here."

But Fang Ya wasn’t moving an inch; seeing this, Qin Shou suddenly leaped up, grew to over the height of a man, picked up Fang Ya, and took off running. As he ran, Qin Shou called out, "Sis, is this what you meant by ’taking care of it’? It feels more like they’re ’taking care of us,’ doesn’t it?"

"Chase them!" Guiche led the charge with a shout, and suddenly a three-wheeled chariot appeared under his feet, which, despite having only three wheels, moved at a terrifying speed! The absolute gap in strength could no longer be bridged by a few magical powers.
