"Alina, do you think Kent will agree to an alliance with my auction house?" Lady Lani asked, sitting under a blossom tree somewhere in the Gate Master's residence.

She is with Alina, Kent's woman who was acting just to maintain her cover...for now.

Kent smiled.

"Unbelievable," Alina said, shaking her head. She had heard of the Kingdom Protector before and knew she was someone only a few people had the privilege to meet.
