Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 815: Training Gandiva

Forget about having powerful moves, he had to first concentrate on making it a normal Staravia.

Staravia shouted saying that it cannot let that happen. It had made a good impression with the team telling that it was the strongest and now it cannot tell that it was the weakest.

Staravia was shocked. It didn't know that it had such an ability. Did it believed Axel completely? Obviously no. But it had to give this passive move a chance. It this is really true then it would be able to keep its reputation.

"So, are you ready for it?", asked Axel.

"Ok good. Before we start to train seriously, I must give you some information on how to get stronger. If you can understand it then, in the future, you can train for yourself and I will not even have to interfere."

Axel also told it about move mastery and making new moves and how his talent was perfect for it.

"If you are in my team, then you will grow stronger than any other Pokemons. That is one of the benefits of being on my team.", said Axel with a smile.

By the time they completed the theory sensation, it was already late evening.

"Don't train now. We will start from tomorrow. Remember what I have taught you.", said Axel.

Staravia's mind was filled with making all the strategies that it could. After 3 months, it would be facing Magnemite and it knew that it needed a good ground move to counter it.

It went to the internet with the help of Agnes and looked at all the ground type moves that it could learn and it was disappointed.

The only ground type move that its species could learn was 'sand attack' and this only lowered the accuracy of the target.

It realized that those 'Magnemites' were going to be a challenge for it. So, it started to look at all the ground type moves and thought about it.

Axel had said that with enough training and knowledge, Staravia could learn any moves. So, it was hopeful.

After researching for sometime, it came to 4 ground type moves that it could learn.

Staravia then started to think about which move it should learn. First of all, 'Mud bomb' and 'Mud shot' were difficult moves to learn and it thought that this would take some time which it didn't have.

'Mud sport' was exactly what it needed right now. While using this move, electric-type moves would be ineffective against it. But that was only possible if this move was properly mastered. Staravia knew that it could not do that in 3 months. Besides, while using this move, the user would have to cover its whole body with mud which would not only decrease its speed but also make itself look ugly.

How can it look ugly in front of so many people?

So, it decided to learn the move 'Mud slap'. 'Mud slap' was a beginner version of 'Mud shot' where the user would slap the mud on the target which would damage them and also lower their accuracy.

It had a lot to do now to keep its reputation but now it knew that it needed to rest. So, it went to its bed, covered itself in a blanket, and closed its eyes.

As Axel woke up, he took his shower, got ready, and then went to the training ground. He was surprised to see Staravia training in the training ground. It was only 5 a.m. right now. He had woken up an hour before today and had not expected to see anyone training.

It was flying high in the sky and then it would go down and then slap its wings.

"So, you have started to train, huh? What are you doing?", asked Axel.

"So, you are starting to learn 'Mud-slap'. But that is not how you train. Rather training this way would take some time for you to learn this move.", said Axel with a smile.

His plan had worked and Staravia was finally taking the training seriously.

There were mainly 2 soul arts that he was focusing on.

First was the one to make his soul stronger and increase its defense. The user would have to be inside the meditation and master in meditation in such a way that they could have lucid dream. And in a dream, they need to train.

Axel had yet to reach the stage where he could manipulate his dream but he was not worried about it. Such a thing would take some time.

The second soul art was the art of making his Pokemons stronger. Since his Pokemon were now connected with his soul, he first needed to increase the capacity of his soul to connect multiple Pokemon and he could also passively make their soul stronger.
