Player Awakening: I Become A Lord In Game-Like World-Chapter 51: Intercontinental Migration
***
The next day.
Sovereign_Night Town Hall.
Caleb woke up at six in the morning, an hour before the duration of the town hall renovation ended. He got up and sat on the edge of the bed, his hand seemingly holding his head for a while.
"Supposedly, today is the day the town hall renovation ends," Caleb replied.
He looked forward, watching the progress circle on his dashboard. Caleb pressed the progress circle and saw a panel appear before him.
[Town Hall Renovation:]
[Level 4 -> level 5]
[Duration of renovation: ]
[00:01:14:07]
The information panel about the remaining time for the town hall renovation had one hour and 15 minutes left. Currently, Caleb saw that it was six in the morning, the renovation would end at seven.
He got up to get ready, washed his face and walked outside the town hall. The sunny weather greeted him, several commanders who had been on standby since last night greeted the newly awakened Caleb -online.
"How was it? Was there any threat from the monsters last night?" Caleb asked Leonidas.
"None. We also did not detect any movement of other players outside the alliance members," Leonidas replied.
Caleb nodded. He stepped into the city center and raised his head, looking up at the woman sitting on a wooden chair, standing guard in a relaxed manner over the city gate.
He stepped until he was close to Leonidas and William, "What is she doing?"
"I don’t know. I asked her a few times, but she didn’t respond," William replied.
Caleb glanced briefly at William, then refocused his attention to the upper front, watching Cleopatra.
Caleb decided to go there and meet the woman. He stepped up the stairs connected to the city gate, so it took ten minutes for Caleb to arrive at the top of the city gate.
"Did you find anything?" asked Caleb, coming as a surprise.
Cleopatra opened her eyes, then turned her head to the side with a wide smile. The woman rose from her seat, stepping closer to Caleb until she was directly in front of him.
"Found something like what?" asked Cleopatra, teasing Caleb.
"Like an enemy or a horde of monsters, perhaps."
Cleopatra smiled, again. She stepped back and turned her eyes to the side. Her right hand rose up, pointing to the south.
"I didn’t find a horde of monsters about to attack, but I saw the sudden appearance," Cleopatra replied.
Caleb was curious. He turned his head and looked in the same direction as Cleopatra. From a distance, Caleb saw something similar to a city, not the ruins of a city, but a real city.
’Isn’t CL_Ellise’s territory still quite far from my city?’ Caleb asked.
’Did she use a ticket to move the city?’ Caleb asked again.
Due to his high curiosity, Caleb opened the vision fog map. From the map, Caleb was surprised to see that the city he saw earlier was not CL_Ellise’s city, but another player’s city.
"No way."
That’s right! Players from other continents on the same server migrated continents with an intercontinental royal transfer ticket. It was a special ticket that could make players and their kingdoms migrate to the continent they wanted.
’It’s too early for them to do continent migration,’ Caleb explained.
Not only one, but there were 4 other players who did the same thing. They are free to determine where their city will be established, as long as it does not dispute with other players’ territories.
With the addition of five new players, it is certain that the number of players on the Izoya Continent is back to full 10 people. This makes the political map in this place even more open.
Even so, one thing for sure from them is that they don’t have any alliances yet. Because if they established an alliance, the intercontinental migration ticket would be useless. If they joined an alliance, that ticket would also be useless.
They were so smart not to join any alliances before migrating. They also chose continents with uncrowded population levels, less than 7 players were the best continents.
"A few times, I saw them send scouts into our territory. I tried to hold back my attacks because they were just combing the fog," Cleopatra replied.
"Stay alert. We don’t know what kind of evil they intend to do to us," Caleb replied, Cleopatra clearing her throat in agreement.
Cleopatra returned to her post and got ready with her archer unit. Caleb walked down the stairs until he reached the city center, meeting Leonidas and William.
"What is it, sir?" Leonidas asked.
"There are continental migration players coming. Now, the number of players on this continent is increasing," Caleb replied.
"Hmm... will they be a threat to us?" asked William.
"It depends. I don’t know how powerful their kingdom is yet. But I’d better start doing some reconnaissance," replied Caleb.
William and Leonidas agreed. Caleb pressed his five Heavy Scouts and assigned them to five new cities on this continent. Caleb deliberately left them in an idle stance, it would keep them from attacking the city upon arrival.
"Are we going to do another conquest?" asked William, being the most excited.
"Take it easy."
"We must read the political map and the enemy’s capabilities," Caleb replied.
"Acting rashly will only drag us to the brink of destruction."
The two commanders knew Caleb’s intentions, especially since there were many new players arriving on this continent. Caleb was worried that if he acted rashly and chose to fight against the five, they could form an alliance together and defeat Caleb.
’At the very least, I should get two of the five new players to join me. Cl_Ellise must be doing something to convince the five new players, especially those who are close to his town,’ Caleb replied.
Caleb turned his head to the side, looking towards Liliana’s town. Not only that, Jennie’s town had moved near Caleb, north of his town. That made coordinating the three of them very easy.
"I have to go," Caleb replied.
"Where?" asked William.
"To discuss this with the alliance members."
