Inside the cave hall, Su Nanzhi stood with her back to Sun Zhe, her pretty face flushed red. Confronted with his question, she was too embarrassed to speak. She set Sun Batian down and suddenly spun around to face him. "What if I am? What if I'm not? Do you really care that much about that?"

Sun Zhe's guilt deepened. He stepped forward and pulled her into his arms.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Su Nanzhi twisted and struggled. "Let go!"

But Sun Zhe only held her tighter. Looking into her eyes, he said, "Nanzhi, I can't promise I'll only have you, but I can promise to treat you well with my life. I'll cherish and love you forever."

Hearing this, Su Nanzhi stopped struggling. Her tone softened as she gazed at him. "You're the one who said that."

"Yes, I said it."

Su Nanzhi huffed softly and turned her face away, muttering, "Just wait until we get back to Huayang City. I'll deal with you then."

Sun Zhe laughed. "Yes, you must deal with me harshly!"

Su Nanzhi pushed him away. "Alright, that's enough. Hurry up and check out that stone chamber."

Sun Zhe asked curiously, "Didn't you say before that you'd already had your first time?"

Su Nanzhi's face reddened, and she quickened her pace.

"You really care that much?"

"It would be a lie to say I don't."

"So, does that mean you had feelings for me a long time ago? Why else would you care?"

Sun Zhe answered honestly, "You're the number one beauty in Yang City. What man wouldn't have thoughts about you?"

At his words, Su Nanzhi stopped, turned, and stomped on his foot. "Then why did you say we were just ordinary friends before!"

Sun Zhe winced, his voice pained. "But didn't you... say you couldn't accept my Cultivation Technique?"

Su Nanzhi rolled her eyes. "I was lying, okay? I just wanted to see your reaction and mess with you a little."

Hearing this, Sun Zhe pulled her into his arms and began to tickle her.

"I'll show you 'messing with me'!"

Su Nanzhi shrieked with laughter, her body shaking. "Okay, okay, stop! It tickles... I was wrong, I was wrong!"

Amid their playful laughter, they entered a tunnel on the other side of the hall, its entrance hidden by thick vines. The passage was narrow at first, only wide enough for one person to pass through. But after several dozen steps, it suddenly opened into a wide space.

"Nanzhi, is this the stone chamber you mentioned?" Sun Zhe stopped at the entrance. Before he even stepped inside, he could feel a chilling, murderous aura, as if a god of slaughter was hiding within.

Steeling himself, he walked into the stone chamber and immediately saw the skeleton Su Nanzhi had told him about. The skeleton was seated cross-legged on a large futon, appearing quite serene. However, due to the passage of immense time, the bones were nearly weathered to dust.

Su Nanzhi hid behind Sun Zhe, her delicate frame trembling. In a quavering voice, she said, "This must be the Black Kui's master."

Sun Zhe nodded gently. "You seem terrified. You're shaking."

Su Nanzhi pinched his waist. "Aren't you shaking, too?"

"Am I?" Sun Zhe swallowed hard. "This doesn't make sense. It's just a skeleton. It shouldn't be enough to scare us this badly."

"That's what I was thinking," Su Nanzhi agreed.

Sun Zhe lowered his gaze to the skeleton and analyzed, "Judging by the bone structure, this senior was a man."

Su Nanzhi rolled her eyes. "No kidding. I also know he was alive before he died."

"Do you have to be so contrary?" Sun Zhe retorted.

"Ah Zhe, why don't you go have a closer look?"

Bracing himself, Sun Zhe slowly approached the skeleton. The closer he got, the more intense the strange, murderous aura became. It felt as if an invisible blade was pressed against his neck.

BOOM!

Suddenly, a surge of True Qi erupted from the skeleton, knocking Sun Zhe off his feet. When he looked up again, the skeleton had already crumbled into a pile of ash.

However, the visible True Qi had not dissipated, still swirling around the futon. Su Nanzhi gathered her courage, walked over to help Sun Zhe up, and stared at the cushion. "Ah Zhe, I think there's something under the futon."

Without a word, Sun Zhe walked over and kicked the futon aside. A quick glance revealed that there was indeed a secret hidden beneath it! Under the futon was a groove, and nestled within it was a sword.

The chilling, murderous aura they had felt was emanating from this very sword.

"What a terrifying sword!" Su Nanzhi exclaimed.

"I wonder how many people its owner killed with it," Sun Zhe murmured. He slowly approached, squatted down, and reached out to grasp the longsword.

Unexpectedly, the moment he grasped the hilt, his arm grew numb. A strange, cold, murderous aura spread instantly from his palm throughout his body. He felt as if he had been plunged into an icy cavern, and his whole body began to tremble.

Seeing this, the color drained from Su Nanzhi's face. "Ah Zhe, let it go! You can't just touch..."

Before she could finish, Sun Zhe stopped shaking. Everything returned to normal, as if nothing had happened. The sword in his hand no longer radiated its terrifying killing intent. It now looked rusty and utterly unremarkable.

"Ah Zhe, what just happened?"

A slight smile touched Sun Zhe's lips. He gave the sword a few swings and said, "I just tried connecting to it with my Divine Sense, and I didn't expect to actually communicate with it." He added, "This sword is sentient. I think it has taken a liking to me and wants me to be its master."

Su Nanzhi stared in astonishment. "That's possible? You know how to use Divine Sense already?"

"I just learned. I'm not very skilled with it yet."

Su Nanzhi gave him a look one might reserve for a monster. "You're a monstrous genius."

Sun Zhe teased, "If I weren't a genius, why would the number one beauty of Yang City secretly fall for me?"

"Bah! Who secretly fell for you?" Su Nanzhi retorted. "Mr. Sun, could you have a little shame?"

After he put the sword away, the two began to wander around the spacious stone chamber. The room was fully furnished with all sorts of everyday furniture. However, with the passage of time, everything had decayed and weathered, crumbling at the slightest touch. Finally, under the bed, Sun Zhe found a metal box that was still relatively intact.

Opening the box, he discovered a pile of bottles and jars, a book, and an assortment of random trinkets. After rummaging for a moment, Sun Zhe picked up a slender, pale green jade object. He turned and gave Su Nanzhi a meaningful look.

Her face turned red, and her cheeks puffed out slightly. "What are you looking at me for?"

"Nanzhi, guess what this is for?"

Su Nanzhi playfully smacked him on the head. "Stop playing dumb. Isn't it just a version 1.0 Fairy Wand?"

Sun Zhe burst out laughing. "But it is strange," he said, curious. "This senior was a man. Why would his personal effects include a woman's 'Mr. Right'?"

"Maybe a couple lived here," Su Nanzhi suggested.

Sun Zhe nodded. "That makes sense. We saw a vanity table earlier. This must have been left behind by the senior's wife."

Su Nanzhi pinched him. "Why are you analyzing all this? Don't tell me that Priestess you mentioned came to this cavern looking for this thing."

"You never know," Sun Zhe replied.

Su Nanzhi gave him a huge eye-roll. "Technology is so advanced now. Don't you think heated, electric silicone ones are better? Why would she be looking for this?"

"You seem to know a lot about it. Do you have one?"

Su Nanzhi's face flushed crimson. "I can't be bothered with you!"

Sun Zhe then set down the "Mr. Right" and picked up the book from the box. The entire book was made of animal hide, giving it a simple, ancient feel. It was coated in some kind of medicinal oil that protected it from decay and insects. On the cover were two large, handwritten characters: Lin'ao.

"Lin'ao?" Su Nanzhi asked curiously. "Is that a Martial Arts technique?"

Sun Zhe flipped through a few pages. "It seems to be a type of Swordsmanship. I'll study it more closely later."

He set the book aside and went back to tinkering with the bottles and jars. He found that they all contained Elixirs, but they had long since lost their potency and were useless.

Just then, Su Nanzhi picked up a White Jade Ring. "Ah Zhe, now this is a real treasure!" she exclaimed.

"What is it?"

"It's a Storage Treasure," she said.

Hearing this, Sun Zhe's eyes lit up.

"My Su Family ancestors used to have a Storage Treasure, but it was sold long ago." She handed the Ring to Sun Zhe. "I don't know how to use Divine Sense yet, so I can't use this. Ah Zhe, you give it a try."
