Phoenix Reborn In One Piece-Chapter 264: The Power of King’s Aura
Chapter 264 - 264: The Power of King's Aura
Just as the Dream Team was deep in discussion, Ryuen suddenly sensed something and turned around. He saw that the outer edge of the plaza had been surrounded by the Kingdom's guards—but even so, he could still spot Camie's small figure waving at him excitedly and anxiously.
Noticing the change in Ryuen's expression, the others also turned to look.
"Camie?"
"The mermaid next to her... isn't that the owner of the Mermaid Café, Shyarly?" Anya said with a bit of surprise.
"Camie probably wants something from us. I'll go bring them over..." Nami said as she opened a portal.
A moment later, Camie and Shyarly appeared, brought over by Nami.
"Camie, is there something you need?" Ryuen asked, confused. Then he looked toward Shyarly, the younger sister of Arlong.
"Ryuen... I..." Camie hesitated, clearly nervous.
Everyone else found her behavior a little strange.
Camie glanced at Shyarly again, took a deep breath, and finally gathered her courage. "Ryuen-sama, I want to ask you to save Fish-Man Island. Please help the poor orphans living in the Fish-Man District!"
The Dream Team members were all surprised by what Camie said. Then they looked over at Shyarly, realizing this probably had something to do with her.
Seeing this, Shyarly finally broke her silence. She looked at Ryuen and said, "Ryuen-sama the people in the Fish-Man District have all been orphans since they were young. They've been tricked by Hody. But if you're willing to help, I know a way to make them change."
"Yeah, Ryuen-sama they really had a rough childhood. I know a lot of them. The only reason they're acting this way now is because Hody fooled them..." Camie added quickly.
"Camie, whether they're good or bad has nothing to do with us. We don't have any reason to get involved," Ryuen said softly.
"To be honest, this is just an internal fight on Fish-Man Island," Nojiko said to Camie.
"Oh..." Camie looked disappointed.
Shyarly's face changed a little, but she didn't show much emotion—maybe because she had already expected to be turned down.
Still, watching people drop one by one in the big plaza made her feel awful inside.
She took a deep breath, as if she had made up her mind.
Then she looked at Ryuen and said, "Ryuen-sama you know about my ability to predict the future, don't you? If you're willing to help, I'll tell you a secret about this sea—and about your Dream Team. Something I've seen in a vision of the future."
Hearing this, Ryuen frowned slightly, and the other team members also looked a bit surprised.
They all knew about Shyarly's gift for prophecy, but none of them were really interested in predictions or visions of the future.
"It's about us?" Ryuen asked, showing a little interest.
But that was all.
"Yes. If you agree to help, I'll tell you this secret. And I'm sure this secret is more than worth it," Shyarly said with confidence.
Camie looked hopeful. She was a kind person and still wished the Dream Team would step in—that way, fewer people on Fish-Man Island would have to die.
Ryuen stared at Shyarly.
In that instant, Shyarly felt a crushing pressure come over her. Her face, which had been full of color, turned pale.
A few seconds later, Ryuen stopped releasing his aura.
But to Shyarly, those few seconds felt endless. The moment he pulled back, her legs gave out and she collapsed to the ground. Cold sweat dripped from her forehead.
"Sis Shyarly, what's wrong..." Camie rushed over, clearly worried.
"I can help," Ryuen said calmly, "but keep your secret. We're not interested in hearing about some predicted future."
His tone was cold and dismissive, like he didn't care at all.
The other members of the Dream Team nodded in agreement.
They all knew Ryuen well. They were used to how he handled things. They trusted his judgment and didn't feel the need to chase after vague prophecies.
But Shyarly suddenly lifted her head and stared at Ryuen, eyes wide in shock and disbelief.
She couldn't understand why he would turn down information that could be so important to their future.
To her, this was a rare chance—something that could help them face future threats.
But then, she let out a silent sigh.
She understood.
These people were so calm because they were incredibly strong.
With that kind of power, who needs to know the future?
To them, no plan or scheme could beat true strength.
As long as they were strong enough, they could shape their own fate.
Camie's face lit up with joy. "Really? Ryuen-sama, you really agreed?"
Shirley, on the other hand, stayed calm. "Thank you, Ryuen, for agreeing to help. As for what I saw about the future, don't worry. I won't tell a single soul."
Whether Shirley said anything or not didn't matter to Ryuen.
He simply turned slowly and looked toward Gyoncorde Plaza. Right now, Ryugu Palace's side was being pushed back by the New Fishman Pirates.
That drug really is something.
The New Fishman Pirates being able to push them this far... honestly, it was because Jinbe, Vista, and Namur underestimated their enemy.
They thought they were strong enough and didn't bother to fight seriously from the start. That's why things turned out like this.
The Straw Hat crew had it even worse.
Their strength wasn't enough. After the fishmen took that drug, the Straw Hats could barely put up a fight.
They got beaten badly.
*BOOM!!!*
All of a sudden, a powerful aura swept through Gyoncorde Plaza like a storm. It was overwhelming, like a mountain crashing down. Everyone felt like they couldn't breathe.
The aura only lasted about two seconds, but that short moment was enough to silence the entire plaza.
Everyone stood frozen in shock, their eyes wide, mouths open, stunned.
It felt like something invisible was squeezing their hearts tight.
Only after the aura faded did people slowly begin to snap out of it.
They started looking around, trying to figure out where it came from.
Soon, their frightened eyes landed on a shocking sight: the fishmen from Fishman District were all lying unconscious on the ground.
They had collapsed everywhere, completely knocked out, with no idea what had happened.
At the same time, Hody Jones and his group had also fallen to the ground, shaking with cold sweat. They looked around in fear, still dazed by what had just hit them.
"Conqueror's Haki! That must be it!"
Jinbe was the first to react. It had to be Ryuen. On Fishman Island, only Ryuen's Conqueror's Haki could be this strong!
Shirley and Camie looked at Ryuen, scared out of their minds.
Those two seconds just now... they would probably remember it for the rest of their lives. It was terrifying.
"Whew~~~"
"Well, I guess the fight's over. Since there's nothing more to watch, Nami, let's go," Ryuen said casually as he stretched.
"Fine~" Nami said with a bit of a sigh as she opened a space portal.
The Dream Crew went through one by one, and soon they disappeared from Gyoncorde Plaza.
"He's... way too strong..." Shirley was still in shock.
