Paragon of Death-Chapter 178
178 Chapter 177: Master and Disciple in the front lines
“Blasphemy!” Blink growled as his body shot off the ground and into the air while a darkish green aura surged out of his chest, mixing with his silver aura.
Xiu!
Boom!
The invisible barrier protecting Dillain trembled greatly while Blink vanished. From different directions attacks rained down on the barrier, threatening to shatter it in a short time.
Ha!
Dillian clasped his hands together causing a powerful shockwave once again but Blink was prepared this time, his body vanished and reappeared hundreds of meters away from Dillain.
“I can endure it when you slander me and talk trash about me but I will not stand still and watch an infidel claiming to be able to touch the face of God” Blink snorted disdainfully as his aura exploded, spreading far and wide in the form of a dome.
Spatial zone!
Blink’s eyes tinged with cruelty as he began walking towards Dillian
.....
Buzz!
Buzz!
Just when Blink was a hundred meters away from Dillain a buzzing sound as the two domain spells came in contact with each other, clashing violently.
“Seems like I was right from the start.... You are not too different from me but you are slightly inferior” Blink said with a straight face and with eyes gleaming brightly as if he had discovered the secrets of the world.
Hearing this Dillian frowned and took a step forward alongside Blink. Before anyone could tell what was happening the duo began walking towards each other with the intent to kill visible in their eyes. They seemed to have silently made up their mind that only one of them is allowed to survive this encounter.

Bam!
Damon stood just in front of a mirror wall separating him and the image of the strange dragon speaking to him. He could see it clearly and see its physical features change and adjust with time but even then Damon was unmoved by this display. His cold eyes were pinned on the enemy but he couldn’t see the enemy clearly.
Right now he was forced to watch Blink’s battle at the blood mountain borders and he was stunned. For the first time in a short while, Damon stopped moving and focused on what he was shown. He could see through the eyes of every member of the undead army. Now those undead soldiers hiding within the shadow of Blink watched the battle rage on and felt it was best to inform Damon about it through this method.
Damon was stunned by the stunning performance of his only disciple but he was also terrified by his foe. The power to control gravity is one he had only heard stories of. The power literally made one insanely powerful and cruel. In fact, Damon had to admit if he were still in the warrior realm and met that kid, he wouldn’t last as long as Blink is doing.
In his opinion, Blink was far stronger than he was when he was in the warrior realm. He found it even more shocking than usual. But then again, his student was in danger and he wasn’t anywhere close by to help him.
“Let him hear my voice through you then.” Damon said to the undead whom he was seeing through his eyes. His eye turned grey as all forms of life were left in his face, giving him the same air as his undead soldiers.
“You are my disciple, don’t lose. Likewise, I am your master. I will never know defeat” Damon said while looking into the eyes of the massive dragon. His face lacked any form of emotions as he strode forward with a cruel look on his face.
Since his disciple was fighting for the sake of the blood mountain, Damon believed he had no reason to waste any more time on unnecessary things.
He needed to get the sealed artifact and the inheritance before anything else.
Boom!
Damon’s death aura exploded from his body, surging all the way to his hands, spreading fast as it raced through the entire glass wall, blocking him from reaching the dragon.
“I have never seen a dragon trying to help a new god. That’s why I refuse to take what you offer to me as a sealed artifact because I know it’s not what I’m looking for. Instead, I will take you, that is where what I sought lies” Damon sneered and the cloud palace began to turn dark.
It became storming with lots of darkish purple bolts of lightning with strong wind. Damon stood at the center of all of it as he coldly looked at the cloud shaped dragon gazing at him viciously with blood-red eyes.
“Since you have refused to be contempt with what I choose to give, I will take everything from you” The dragon growled but Damon wasn’t moved.
He remained unfazed by the attempt to intimidate him while gazing into the eyes of the massive blue dragon.
“Take everything that is mine? You will try” Damon snorted disdainfully, refusing to back away from this fight!
.... Meanwhile.....
Bang!
Blink hit the ground and rolled a couple of times before he stopped. He tried to get on his feet but he felt the invisible pressure fall on him, forcing him to teleport out of Its range!
Blegh!
Blink fell on one knee, bleeding heavily from a fist-shaped hole in his chest. More darkish green aura surged forward, trying to consume Blink. Most parts of his skin had already gotten infected by his negative power, slowly transforming him. Even now one of his faces had become cruel and cold with the darkish green flair in the eyes.
“You are my disciple, don’t lose. Likewise, I am your master. I will never know defeat” Damon’s words rang in his eyes stunning him.
His cold and detached expression vanished, becoming like that of a child again as he looked towards his shadow and saw countless eyes looking at him.
“Even now he still watches over Me” Blink muttered as his eyes revealed a cold light and his body shivered.
Swoosh!
Swoosh!
Swoosh!
Before Blink could react he was surrounded by undead forces with Brandon Bloodhammer of the dwarves standing guard beside him with a cold look in his eyes.
He held onto the blood hammers in his hands while gazing at Dillian Gyro with a cruel look in his eyes.
Swoosh!
Brandon Bloodhammer hammer vanished and reappeared in front of Dillain attempting to slash at Blink but his body suddenly felt incredibly heavy preventing him from moving!
Huh?
Crack!
Crack!
Bone breaking sounds could be heard as Brandon Bloodhammer kept moving regardless. His blade swung forward, slashing at Dillian regardless of its physical condition!
Pfff!
Blood squirted out as Dillan staggered back. If he didn’t move when he did, he would have died from the single slash.
He looked at the wound on his chest and noticed the rusty smell coming from it. His eyes seemed strange as he looked toward the old undead soldier with an amused look on his face.
“This explains why my father and the others couldn’t bring down the blood mountain. This is not normal necromancy. This is on a whole new level” Dillian said with immense shock but he didn’t seem afraid, instead, he felt amused by what happened.
Unlike normal necromancy which uses bone and flesh of the deceased, Damon’s power makes them no different from energy beings who are completely indestructible. Unless one had a means of sealing them, they would most likely lose.
“The power of death has always been as troublesome as always. But that doesn’t make it unavoidable too. In fact, I will say this only once. I came here to take the life of the child called Blink” Dillain said while causally walking forward.
Even with the army of death here, he showed no fear. He walked forward for a short while while the undead army made way for him, soon Dillian was standing right in front of Blink and Brandon Bloodhammer, surrounded by the army of the dead.
“Even if your master were here, he won’t be able to stop what’s about to happen” Dillian’s eyes swirled with invisible aura, surging dangerously around him and his enemies.
Boom!
....
In a land surging with flames and lava, Cyrus emerged with a calm look on his eyes. After Damon left them behind, he suggested to head to the last location alone while Gin and Elsa handle the final location.
He stood on a narrow path leading to what looks like the entrance located at the foot of the mountain. His eye darted around a bit, allowing him to observe the location and causing him to frown.
His body was surrounded by a thin but thick layer of holy aura. That’s the reason he was able to survive here for this long.
“With these kinds of conditions, not anyone can come here” Cyrus said with a frown.
While everything may look fine now but the closer he gets the stronger the heat. The real question now is not if he is okay now.
It’s, how long will he be able to last in here with his current cultivation level?
