Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot-Chapter 972 - 579: Wedding Photoshoot and a Minor Incident (Part 2)
The makeup artist came over and looked around.
Under someone’s piercing and intimidating gaze, they didn’t dare to touch his face in the end.
"If there’s no makeup, will the photos turn out unattractive?" Liang Yun felt that wedding photos were meant to be treasured for a lifetime and should be perfect.
"Mom, I don’t think it’s necessary..." Huo Qinqi was about to resist when she shot him a cold glare.
"Who’s professional when it comes to photos, you or the photographers and makeup artists?"
"..."
The makeup artist dared not touch his face and finally said, "Actually, there’s no need for makeup. Mr. Huo has very defined features, so the photos should turn out handsome."
"But their skin tones are quite different. Won’t the final photos look bad?" Liang Yun frowned, thinking to herself:
Why is her son so dark?
"It’s okay, we have retouching and editing afterward. Skin tones can be adjusted..."
"And if he doesn’t like to smile, can expressions be adjusted?"
"..."
Jiang Jinsang had finished a set of photos and saw Liang Yun was communicating with the photographer, so he came over to watch.
Anyway, the conclusion was:
All relied on post-editing.
"How many days leave did you take?" Jiang Jinsang walked up to Huo Qinqi.
"I can stay in Beijing for three days."
"Taking wedding photos is really exhausting. For tomorrow’s outdoor shoot, pay extra attention."
Huo Qinqi nodded.
"I thought you couldn’t get leave to come back, and we’d have to move the shoot to the weekend." Coordinating the studio’s time isn’t easy; the photographer doesn’t automatically have free time when you do.
Huo Qinqi initially wanted to push the date to the weekend, but it was hard to negotiate with the studio.
Then Liang Yun casually muttered:
"I heard there’s a new AI technology that can replace heads in videos. Even if you don’t come, we can overlay your head later."
"..."
He felt that with his mother’s current ideas, whether he showed up for the wedding seemed insignificant.
**
Jiang Jinsang and Tang Wan had just completed two sets of photos, and the atmosphere in the studio was relaxed and pleasant throughout.
Until Huo Qinqi and Shen Shuci stepped in front of the camera, and the mood changed.
The two weren’t the type to show affection publicly; both had reserved personalities and didn’t know what to do.
They could only follow the photographer’s instructions, posing as directed.
"Get closer, more intimate, don’t be nervous, relax. Pretend we’re not here. Just hold one another naturally, as comfortably as you would in private..."
Pretend they’re not here?
Shen Shuci glanced around. Setting aside Tang Wan and Jiang Jinsang, there was also her future mother-in-law, Liang Yun, and a circle of staff—lighting, holding lamps, setting up the scene...
There were at least twenty people in the studio; how could they possibly ignore them?
"Can you two get a little closer?"
The photographer was going mad but dared not adjust them physically.
Standing at the side, Liang Yun seemed barely able to hold back.
It’s just wedding photos; why are these two acting like they’re being tortured?
Tang Wan sat nearby, taking stealthy photos and videos with her phone. Noticing Liang Yun’s discomfort, she quickly approached, "Auntie, it’s too hot in here; let’s go get them something to drink."
Reluctant to refuse her, Liang Yun followed her out.
With Liang Yun gone, the two seemed to relax a bit, though the process was still "arduous," it proceeded smoothly enough.
For the first time in his life, Huo Qinqi was "directed" to strike myriad poses he found hard to accept.
Watching from the side, Jiang Jinsang almost couldn’t hold back his laughter; the two of them were quite amusing.
Finally, when the photographer said they were done, they both breathed a sigh of relief.
But then he immediately said, "Change into the next set of clothes, and let’s continue."
Huo Qinqi only knew they needed a change of clothes; he hadn’t understood that just in the studio, it amounted to five outfits.
He was fine, but Shen Shuci had another wedding dress and two sets of dresses, paired with the makeup, making it especially tiring, which he found very distressing.
After the shoot, both of them felt relieved as if pardoned, while the photographer almost cried!
It’s finally over!
Every time Huo Qinqi faced the camera, you could sense his intense displeasure, even through the lens, sending chills down your spine.
Once it was over, night had completely fallen.
Jiang Jinsang and Tang Wan had also stayed in the studio all day, and if not for Tang Wan being there, Liang Yun might have stepped in herself to adjust their poses.
