Pampered By My Fake Boyfriend's Brother-Chapter 508: Lost
"That’s only natural. Jiaojiao is going to be my wife in the future. How could I not cherish her?" Bao Cheng’s expression was indifferent, making it impossible to discern what he was thinking.
Bao Cheng gave people the impression of being sunny and handsome, often displaying a touch of affability when interacting with others.
"That’s good, that’s good." The aunt repeated a few times, finally able to put her heart at ease.
She spoke, glanced in the direction of Su Jiaojiao, and then retreated.
Su Jiaojiao’s gaze fell on their tightly held hands, only to feel her heartbeat accelerating. After returning to the Su Family, she almost forgot she was Bao Cheng’s fiancée.
The brief joy in the park that morning nearly made her forget her mission.
Bao Cheng noticed that Su Jiaojiao seemed a bit out of sorts. His bright eyes looked directly at her, "Jiaojiao, I miss you!" For Bao Cheng, sweet talk came effortlessly.
Su Jiaojiao couldn’t help but shiver.
Bao Cheng saw her panic.
"Why did you come over suddenly?" Su Jiaojiao didn’t follow his conversation, and besides, it wasn’t the first time she’d heard this kind of sweet talk from Bao Cheng. She didn’t want to take his affection seriously.
"I miss you," Bao Cheng reiterated solemnly.
Even though Su Jiaojiao was highly resistant to the man’s easy sweet talks, every time she heard them, she still felt incredibly tense inside.
When she was with Aw, the man was always reticent, and only when they were intimate would he talk a bit more.
Thinking of this, a blush appeared on Su Jiaojiao’s face.
However, in Bao Cheng’s eyes, her shy demeanor made him think it was because of his words just now, and he became even bolder, "Jiaojiao, we’re engaged, can I stay here tonight?"
"No..." Before Bao Cheng could finish his sentence, Su Jiaojiao firmly rejected his suggestion. After speaking, she realized she was too excited, her eyes dodging, not daring to look at him.
Seeing her resistance, Bao Cheng felt a bit uneasy, "Are you worried about people gossiping?" Bao Cheng thought it over and couldn’t find any other excuse.
"Yes." Su Jiaojiao nodded.
The reason she didn’t want Bao Cheng to stay was because the current bedroom held special significance to her and Aw. She didn’t want Bao Cheng to stay, didn’t want the room to be tainted with his presence. This room belonged to her and Aw.
"Alright then." Bao Cheng knew some women were thin-skinned and cared about face, so to avoid pressuring her, he smiled faintly, "I’ll stay and keep you company for a while and then leave."
Bao Cheng shifted, slowly moving to her side, his hands starting to become restless...
"Bao Cheng," Su Jiaojiao exclaimed, "I’m pregnant now."
"It’s alright, I won’t really touch you." Bao Cheng’s crimson eyes approached her cheek, his breath entirely blowing onto Su Jiaojiao’s face.
"Don’t..."
"Mmm..."
When it came to certain things, Bao Cheng was very impatient, not allowing Su Jiaojiao a chance to speak as her mouth was forcefully blocked by the man.
The Su family’s garage was inside the courtyard, with several cars parked inside at the moment. Although the cars couldn’t be called top luxury, they were still valuable.
Aw had taken off his jacket, wearing only a thin shirt on his upper body, and was diligently cleaning the car.
When the aunt strolled to the garage door, she couldn’t help but look at Aw’s robust, bronze skin a few more times. No wonder he was the bodyguard by the young lady’s side, his muscular build showed he was someone who worked out often, her eyes landing on his face.
The scar on his face was quite conspicuous. If he walked down the street, it would probably scare children quite a bit, just given his brawny stature and that stern face.
Some things weren’t her place to remind, but considering the young lady she had cared for since childhood was taking risks, and their private relationship was quite indecent, the aunt felt it was necessary to give the man in front of her a reminder.
The aunt took a few steps to the front of the car.
Aw was always sharp. When the aunt appeared, he only paused his actions for a moment before quickly returning to his work.
The car in front of him had been thoroughly cleaned with a water gun, leaving only some water spots for him to personally wipe off. His eyes were sharp, not turning around due to the aunt’s intrusion.
"Aw, busy?" The aunt smiled slightly and slowly approached Aw’s side.
The man’s forehead was covered with sweat, and his neck was also dripping with perspiration, making him look full of masculine strength.
When the aunt spoke, Aw put down the tool in his hand, standing straight as his towering figure almost darkened her view.
"Yes," Aw’s attitude was lukewarm.
That was his nature, and almost everyone in the Su family knew it.
"I’m here because I have something to talk to you about." The aunt looked at him.
"Alright, go ahead," Aw picked up a towel from the shelf beside him, casually wiping the sweat off his body.
Seeing his relaxed demeanor, the aunt tentatively began, "Young Master Bao Cheng is here, and he’s accompanying the young lady right now." After speaking, she carefully observed his expression.
After hearing the aunt’s words, a dark light flickered in Aw’s deep eyes, but he gave nothing away for the aunt to see, "He’s engaged to the young lady, so it’s quite normal for him to come to the Su family, isn’t it?"
The aunt felt a blockage in her heart.
She had come to persuade him, but before getting a word in, she was rendered speechless in rebuttal.
"Cough, cough..." The aunt feigned a few coughs. Since everyone knew the situation, she didn’t want to beat around the bush and spoke straightforwardly, "I came to say a few heartfelt words."
"Please go ahead," Aw’s cold expression was tinged with frost.
"It’s abrupt to say this, but I’ve been holding it back and it feels uncomfortable," the aunt said worriedly, "Though you and the young lady are fine now, once she marries into the Bao Family, living under others’ eyes, there’s no guarantee Young Master Bao Cheng won’t find out. Since there’s still room to turn back, Aw, why not... let go first."
The last few words were uttered with great difficulty.
If she didn’t genuinely care for Su Jiaojiao, the aunt would have never dared to speak such words.
"Auntie, the young lady often told me you treat her with great kindness, and I believe it." Aw’s gaze was heavy, "I know you’re doing it for her own good, but in this matter, I’m sorry, I can’t comply."
The man’s tone was resolute, and a trace of pain crossed his pitch-black eyes.
He used to disdain love, considering falling for someone a ludicrous affair, until Su Jiaojiao appeared in his desperate life, bringing hope and letting him experience what it’s like to love someone.
