All the guests present, except for Simon Forrester, Old Master Forrester, and Thomas Reed, joined in applause.

He said nothing, nor did he embarrass Sylvia Langley in front of so many people. He tossed the napkin aside, said to Old Master Forrester, "Grandpa, I’m leaving first," and swiftly exited the restaurant.

Seeing her son leave disrespectfully, Sylvia Langley’s face faltered for a moment, forcing a smile as she spoke into the microphone: "My Jules is shy, it’s okay. Today, both parents are present, including my father-in-law and mother-in-law. The elders have arranged this marriage, so it’s settled!"
