鶴の子餅 / Tsurunoko Mochi

Among Japanese confectioneries are those that are rice-based, and Suama is one of those three rice-based Japanese confectioneries. Suama is a jelly-like confectionery made from glutinous rice and syrup, Mochi is a chewy and elastic rice cake made from pounded glutinous rice, while Uiro is a softer, gelatin-like sweet made from rice flour, sugar, and flavorings.
